Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a track construction machine for tamping and ballasting a track, with a first and a second machine frame, which is articulated by an articulated connection and can be moved by rail bogies on the track, the first machine frame having a tamping unit which is adjustable in height by drives and a track lifting and immediately adjacent thereto Straightening unit and the second machine frame a ballast plow for ballasting the track and a sweeping brush are assigned.
Such a track construction machine is already known from EP 0 436 757 B1. With the help of the sweeping brush and upstream conveyor belts, excess ballast can be transported to the tamping unit, where it can be dropped onto the track in the area of tamping picks. With the ballast plow immediately upstream of the sweeping brush in the working direction, a re-profiling of the ballast bedding is carried out at the same time as the track correction and tamping work.
From US 4 165 694 a further track construction machine for simultaneously tamping and ballasting a track is known, the ballast plow being provided at the front end and the sweeping brush at the rear end of the machine. A trailer-shaped machine frame connected to the ballast plow can be moved continuously with the help of a longitudinal displacement drive independently of a further machine frame that follows and is connected to the tamping units. With this known design an attempt was made to combine the different technologies of track tamping and plowing with regard to their right of way movement.
Unabhängig von dieser kontinuierlichen Vorfahrt wird ein weiterer, trailerförmig ausgebildeter und mit den Stopfaggregaten verbundener Maschinenrahmen schrittweise von Schwelle zu Schwelle verfahren.EP 0 397 956 B1 describes a track construction machine composed of a total of three machine frames which are connected to one another in an articulated manner, for simultaneously stuffing and ballasting a track in use during work is continuously movable. Regardless of this continuous right of way, a further machine frame, designed as a trailer and connected to the tamping units, is moved step by step from threshold to threshold.
The object of the present invention is to create a track construction machine of the generic type which can be used in a particularly efficient manner both for stuffing and ballasting a track.
This object is achieved with a track construction machine described in the introduction in that the tamping unit and the sweeping brush are arranged with respect to the machine longitudinal direction between the track lifting and straightening unit and the ballast plow.
This special arrangement of the sweeping brush makes it possible for the first time, while maintaining a structurally simple design of the machine frame, to use the machine in one working direction for tamping, while in the other, opposite working direction the ballast is carried out. This extended usability of the machine in two different working directions enables a particularly efficient use of the necessary track lock for normal train traffic by stuffing the track during the outward journey and plowing at higher speed during the subsequent return journey. With the separation of the two technologically very different work steps, the working speed can also be optimally adapted to the respective operating conditions. In addition, this bilateral work assignment also enables the combination of step-by-step tamping, particularly in switch sections, with continuous plow use that achieves a better work result.
A further development according to claim 2 has the advantage that an improved observation of the ballast plow is ensured for a rapid diversion of the ballast flow in accordance with the different ballast conditions by the driver's cab set back with respect to the end of the second machine frame.
A development according to
Finally, the further development of the machine according to features 4 and 5, with a structurally simple design of the ballast plow, enables optimal adaptation to different ballast conditions.
