Definitions
- the invention is concerned with the formation of Double chamber bass reflex boxes, especially with the Training of box housings that are very easy to manufacture for realizing such boxes.
- Subwoofer boxes that work according to the double chamber principle are generally known in the art, so that a thorough discussion of how such works Boxes can be dispensed with.
- From DE-A-4 121 408 is a double chamber bass reflex box according to the The preamble of claim 1 is known.
- double chamber boxes formed so that the outer box housing by means of a partition is divided into two volumes.
- Training is either in an opening of the partition or a plurality of speakers are used.
- the Sound radiation from the respective loudspeaker takes place through the so-called open volume of the box, which too this purpose is provided with a radiation opening and which connects the open volume with the listening room.
- the other volume formed by the partition which also referred to as the closed volume is by the Loudspeaker, the partition and the cabinet completely from Listening room separated.
- bass reflex tube For the purpose of tuning such boxes is in the Beam opening commonly known as a Bass reflex tube inserted and connected. Does that too forming double chamber box a simple geometric Shaping, so it is possible the bass reflex tube and the Wall in which the tube is inserted, in one piece -to form by using the spray technology. However, have double chamber boxes - according to the Requirements of many customers of such boxes - complicated geometric shapes, so it is in a variety of Cases not possible to integrate the bass reflex tube in one piece with the Wall in which it is used. In In such cases, it is necessary that Train bass reflex tube as a single part and with the to connect the open volume of the box.
- the invention has for its object a Specify double chamber box, which even with complicated Forms of the double chamber box can be produced with little effort is.
- the box housing becomes one Double chamber box formed by two hollow bodies, which in Blow technique even with complicated box shapes are easy to manufacture.
- Each of these two hollow bodies encloses a volume and has some on the walls are facing each other when assembled, Indentations.
- the volume formed as closed volume of the box used, the Hollow body on the walls with which they are connected will have corresponding openings so that the from Speakers emitted sound waves inside the box from one hollow body into the tuning volume of the other Hollow body can be transferred.
- the volume which is one of the two hollow bodies includes, can be used as a so-called voting volume.
- the tuning volume is understood to mean the volume which is used to coordinate the box and which for boxes according to the prior art through the so-called bass reflex tube is realized. Because the voting volume at the same time is formed during the production of the respective hollow body, are not special measures to connect the Reconciliation volume with the open volume of the box required.
- a particularly good volume utilization of the box (based on the gross volume of the box) is given if the Sound outlet opening, which the tuning volume with the Monitoring room connects, symmetrical to the openings is arranged, which is the open volume with the Connect voting volume.
- FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of a double chamber box 10.
- This double chamber box 10 is formed from two hollow bodies 11, 12 formed by blowing technology.
- FIG. 1 shows the two hollow bodies 11, 12 in an unconnected state.
- Each of these two hollow bodies 11, 12 includes a volume, the volume of the hollow body 11 being referred to as the closed volume 13 and that of the hollow body 12 as the tuning volume 14.
- the walls 15 of the two hollow bodies 11, 12, which face one another, have depressions 16 which protrude into the volumes 13, 14 of the respective hollow body 11, 12.
- the opening cross section of both recesses 16 is rectangular and has the same dimensions for both hollow bodies 11, 12.
- the recess 16 of the hollow body 12 is box-shaped.
- FIG. 2 shows a section A / A through a double-chamber box 10 in the connected state.
- FIG. 1 shows a section A / A through a double-chamber box 10 in the connected state.
- the wall part 17 of the hollow body 11 there is an opening 18 into which a loudspeaker 19 (not shown in FIG. 1) can be inserted.
- the loudspeaker 19 is inserted into the opening 18, as shown in FIG. 2, in such a way that its magnet system 20 projects into the recess 16 in the hollow body 11.
- the recess 16 of the hollow body 12 is by means of two in the side parts 21 of the recess 16 arranged opening 22 provided. About these openings 22 is the open Volume 26 (Fig. 2) connected to the tuning volume 14, when the box 10 is assembled. In addition, the outer wall 23 a sound outlet opening 24, which is centric is arranged to the outer wall 23. Since the rest of the Hollow body 12 is symmetrical, the two Openings 22 symmetrical to the sound outlet opening 24 arranged. The cross-sectional area of the sound outlet opening 24 corresponds in size to the cross-sectional area both openings 22.
- FIG. 3 is a slightly modified compared to Figure 1 Arrangement shown. This differs from the Representation according to Figure 1 in that the opening 18th not centrally in the wall part 17 of the hollow body 11 is arranged.
- the recess 16 of the Hollow body 12 has only one opening 22.
- This opening 22nd is arranged in the side wall 21, which is the larger of the two distances from the opening 18. That too is Outlet opening 24 is not centered on the outer wall 23 arranged, but lies approximately in the opening 18 of the Hollow body 11 opposite if both hollow bodies 11, 12 to a double chamber box 10 are connected. Due this geometry of box 10 is volume utilization slightly deteriorated compared to a box 10 according to FIG.
- the opening 22 is provided with a pipe section 28, which protrudes into the recess 16 of the hollow body 12.
- the Cross-sectional areas of both openings 22, 24 are the same large.

Description
- Figur 1
- eine perspektivische Darstellung einer Box;
- Figur 2
