Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a tillage machine with a chassis, a tillage unit and an operating and / or control unit for the processing unit provided on the rear of the machine, the tillage unit built on the chassis being a container unit with at least one container for holding liquid and / or solid Fabrics and other units, such as batteries, motors, pumps, blowers, separators includes.
  • Soil cultivation machines of this type are known for a wide variety of uses, for example as floor cleaning machines in which the container is used to hold fresh and / or used cleaning liquid, as suction machines in particular for external surfaces in which the container is designed as a dirt collecting container, as grinding machines in particular for parquet floors to which the container is used to collect the grinding dust, or the like.
  • floor cleaning machines in which the container is used to hold fresh and / or used cleaning liquid
  • suction machines in particular for external surfaces in which the container is designed as a dirt collecting container
  • grinding machines in particular for parquet floors to which the container is used to collect the grinding dust, or the like.
  • floor cleaning machines of the generic type can be designed in particular as scrubbing machines, sweeping machines, carpet cleaning machines or the like. They are known, for example, from US Pat. No. 3,277,511 or German Utility Model 91 15 713.
  • a disadvantage of the known floor cleaning machines is that they cannot be used to clean the floor under tables or the like. Rather, tables should be cleared aside before the carpet or floor under them can be cleaned. This is due to the fact that the height of the known floor cleaning machine hardly allows tables to be driven under. The overall height, in turn, is determined in the known floor cleaning machines by the size of the container unit for the cleaning liquid, which cannot be reduced in size, without adversely affecting the possible service life of the floor cleaning machine.
  • the present invention has for its object to provide a generic tillage machine with which an unobstructed processing of the floor is possible by objects located above the floor, such as tables, storage racks and the like.
  • objects located above the floor such as tables, storage racks and the like.
  • cleaning of the floor should also be possible under tables.
  • the floor cleaning machine should not lag behind the known floor cleaning machines with regard to its performance data (cleaning performance, duration of use), but should rather be improved.
  • this object is achieved in that at least one container of the container unit is suspended so that it can be changed in position and / or can be changed in shape, so that the height of its upper edge above the floor can be varied.
  • no fixed unit or other component is provided in the working direction in front of the container unit, the upper edge of which is at the same level or even higher than the maximum height of the upper edge of the container, which can be changed in position and / or shape.
  • the overall height of the machine can thus be adapted to the respective operating conditions.
  • the container unit is not surrounded by a fixed housing, a fixed cover, cladding or the like; here either no cover is provided at all, or it can be easily removed or lowered when operating the machine with a reduced overall height.
  • the container can also be clad with a fixed cover.
  • the container unit consists of a plurality of containers exists, of which at least one is mounted in a positionally variable manner.
  • the at least one position-changeable container can then be brought into a higher or lower position as required.
  • the container unit comprises two containers which are mounted so as to be pivotable about a horizontal axis. If the floor or carpet is to be cleaned under a table, the two swiveling containers can be swiveled downwards about their corresponding swivel axes.
  • the container unit expediently comprises, in addition to its two positionally variable containers, a further, fixed container; this is preferably arranged directly under the pivotable containers (in their pivoted-up position).
  • the container unit comprises two containers, each of which can be assigned an inclined guide.
  • These inclined guides allow the two assigned containers to be shifted downwards and outwards, if necessary, which also reduces the overall height of the container unit above the floor.
  • the container unit can comprise a further, fixed container, which is expediently arranged directly under the movable containers. Compared to the embodiment with the swiveling containers, this configuration has the advantage that the overall height can be adjusted continuously and adapted to the boundary conditions.
  • the at least one container has at least two housing parts which can be moved into one another and a variable-volume balloon or bellows arranged therein for holding the cleaning liquid.
  • the volume changes when the vertical extent, ie the height of the container, varies.
  • the floor With a correspondingly reduced volume of the container and thus a lowered upper part of the container, the floor can also be cleaned under tables or the like.
  • a further advantageous effect of such a floor cleaning machine can be seen in the fact that by presetting a certain maximum volume of the container, the pressure exerted by the floor cleaning machine on the floor can be specified. This is particularly important with regard to cleaning floors where the maximum permissible load must not be exceeded; this is the case, for example, with sports hall floors.
  • the height of the respective upper edge of the fixedly arranged units associated with the processing unit is substantially less than the maximum height of the at least one container. In this way it is ensured that the further aggregates assigned to the tillage unit do not hinder the moving of tables and the like at a relatively great depth when the container or containers are lowered. In this respect, this development is preferred over such an embodiment of the machine in which the fixed units are built up behind the container unit up to the maximum height of the container unit. Because in the latter embodiment, the floor cleaning machine could only be pushed under tables or the like, even with the containers lowered, until the fixed units abut the table edge or the like.
  • the operating and control unit is connected to the chassis in a positionally variable manner.
  • the operating and control unit can be hinged to the chassis about a horizontal axis.
  • By moving the operating and control unit downward, in particular pivoting, in such a floor cleaning machine it also prevents the cleaning of floors under tables or the like. Because while in floor cleaning machines with a fixed operating and control unit the floor cleaning machine can only be pushed under the table up to the stop of the operating and control unit at the edge of the table, even with a reduced overall height of the container, the corresponding floor cleaning machine can be completely underneath when the operating and control unit is swiveled down push the table.
  • the floor cleaning machine designed in this way is much easier to transport from one place of use to the other than with known floor cleaning machines. Because while the latter require a van or small truck to transport them, the floor cleaning machine according to the invention can, if the overall height is reduced, be accommodated in a station wagon. The storage of the floor cleaning machine according to the invention is considerably easier because of the smaller space requirement when the liquid container is lowered than is the case with known floor cleaning machines.
  • the scrubber drier shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 unlike the one according to FIGS. 1 and 2, does not have additional brush devices which can change position. With a corresponding design of the lowerable container 15 and 16 in such a way that there remains enough space for the additional brush device even under the lowered state, such can be provided without further ado.
  • the container for the cleaning liquid comprises a housing 26 and a variable-volume balloon 31 arranged therein for receiving the cleaning liquid.
  • the maximum overall height of the container can be varied in that the housing of the container is constructed from two components 26a and 26b which can be pushed into one another.
  • the lower housing section 26a comprises a cylindrical wall 27 and a bottom 28; the upper housing section 26b also comprises a cylindrical wall 29 and a cover plate 30.
  • the upper housing section can be found in the lower housing section move vertically. If part of the cleaning liquid is used up, or if the container is only partially filled for work under tables or the like from the start, the cleaning liquid only requires a corresponding proportion of the maximum volume of the container.
