Definitions
- the invention relates to a safety switch with a housing, in which a contact-bearing plunger is movably supported by a rotatably mounted ratchet is actuated, which in turn by a Actuator adapted shape in the sense of the switch actuation rotatable for which approach openings are provided in the housing on two sides, the ratchet in the sense of locking its rotary motion spring devices assigned to both sides are with the adapted actuator against the spring force in one the ratchet-releasing position are movable and the locking devices each consist of two motion-coupled, radially displaceable components arranged to the switching axis of rotation (DE-U-9 308 260).
- Such safety switches are used for the forced shutdown of the Power supply, for example if a protective cover from a device, a machine or the like is removed, housing doors opened become and the like. It exists in the sense of the safety function the need, where possible, to ensure that not unauthorized or generally authorized untimely, with the help of simple the actuator to be simulated in the sense of its activation can operate. Since the manufacturer in such safety switches it is not certain from the outset in which position such a room is located There is a safety switch attached to the user for appropriate user-friendliness in connection with the The number of types of such safety switches is also kept low Desire to design them so that they are, for example, of two different ones Sides of your actuator can be approached.
- a known safety switch of the generic type (DE 31 00 862 C2, DE 33 30 109 C2) is the ratchet wheel essentially divided into two.
- a middle part works with the one that carries the contacts Tappet together, while laterally provided ratchet parts by Actuator through openings on two different sides of the housing can be introduced parallel to the axis of rotation of the ratchet the force of return springs can be shifted, causing approaches on the tappet, which has locking surfaces on these relocatable ratchet parts interact, disengaged from these restricted areas.
- the locking devices are elements of the two-part ratchet wheel itself.
- the ratchet is included starting from a middle position when using one approach opening in one direction of rotation when using the other opening in the other direction of rotation, in the sense of the switch actuation, with different approach directions in different Directions, rotatable.
- the locking devices can be independent of the rotary movement of the ratchet be held in the unlocked position. This is with a simple outline for to ensure the actuator, which is otherwise fork-shaped at its front end must be trained and due to the need to operate the Latch devices build relatively long before reaching the ratchet wheel contour. Tamper resistance, Even with regard to the use of violence, there seems to be room for improvement.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object To create safety switches, with the possibility of selection one of several different approach directions and a very high one Tamper security, including security against Use of force are guaranteed.
- the solution according to the invention consists in a generic safety switch in that in the ratchet wheel on each ratchet wheel side two independently acting, but motion-coupled Bolt pieces are provided, each offset from one another are assigned to one of the approach openings and the radial to the ratchet wheel axis are arranged displaceably and have the locking pins, that interact with the surrounding housing area.
- the Locking gear locking bolt pieces still have only one low degree of freedom, as on each ratchet wheel side for each Approach one latch piece is provided, so this in its configuration and location just in one direction needs to be aligned.
- the invention is essential Arrangement of the locking pieces in the ratchet in its side End faces.
- this type of construction also has to be taken care of that are worn while keeping the latch pieces down in the unlocked position, the ratchet in the direction of actuation can be rotated without the rotation of the Ratchet wheels between the actuator and ratchet wheel to block the ratchet wheel movement comes.
- This also contributes to a highly complicated three-dimensional interior design of the actuator, the must have adequate clearance for the gear wheel rotation.
- inclined auxiliary tools or the like for example to operate the latch pieces on both sides and simultaneously to apply the ratchet. This would be an additional one third manipulation possible by a user alone is to be accomplished.
- the radial displaceability of the locking pieces to the ratchet wheel rotation axis enables further design options with regard to a very high security against manipulation, in particular in terms of spatial complexity requirements of the actuator.
- each of the four is a total Bolt pieces assigned their own return spring, so that too therefore there is a fourfold security.
- the ratchet wheel is after transfer the latch pieces in the release position by means of the adapted Actuator in the same direction of rotation in the sense of Tappet actuation between an initial and an end position rotatable, which are limited by stops.
- This also contributes to manipulation security and especially security against violence considerably because the ratchet wheel in its respective position has only one degree of freedom of movement.
- Another preferred Embodiment is that with the adapted actuator interacting surface sections of the locking pieces spatially offset returning to surface sections interacting with the adapted actuator of the ratchet.
- the safety switch has a housing 1 in which the usual one is not Switch electronics shown and not described is located.
- Housing 1 is also a switching plunger 2 for the switch contact actuation slidably guided against the force of a spring 3.
- the switching plunger 2 can only be moved by means of a special actuator 4 the special switching mechanism described below can be operated.
- the switching mechanism includes a ratchet 5, in which shown in Embodiment offset by two radial grooves 6 are provided, in each of which, depending on the direction of approach, an element of the actuator 4 in the sense of the rotation of the ratchet wheel 5 from a Starting position can intervene in a switching end position, insofar as this Twist is not locked in a manner to be described.
- the Ratchet wheel 5 is rotatably arranged on an axis of rotation 7, which in turn is attached in a housing hood 8, which thus the entire Switching mechanism.
- the housing hood 8 is with the switch housing 1 in the rest by a snap connection 9 snap-snap can be assembled.
- the housing cover has in the illustrated embodiment one on each side and one on the top Approach opening 10.
- the housing hood 8 contains the entire switching mechanism, it is easily and functionally displaceable by 180 ° in to latch two positions with the switch housing 1 in the rest, so that there are a total of four different directions of approach. There the entire switching mechanism including the lock in the Housing hood 8 is integrated, the switching mechanism is during this Implementation automatically locked. The for a predetermined Application not required start-up opening 10 in the housing hood 8 is to avoid a risk of contamination by a closure piece 11 tightly closed.
- the switching wheel 5 are on each of its outwardly facing end faces two each independently acting, but with each other motion-coupled locking pieces 12 and 13 assigned.
- the ratchet 5 has intersecting in each of its two end faces Receiving pockets 14 in which the locking pieces 12, 13 radially are slidably guided to the axis of rotation 7, expediently on each A return spring 15 in each of the two locking pieces 12, 13 is assigned so that the failure of one of the two springs Bolt mechanism is still working.
- Each of the locking pieces 12 13 has a locking pin 16.
- For each of the four Locking pin 16 is a through hole in the casing of the switching wheel 5 17 provided and in the adjacent area of the housing hood 8 a Location hole 18 available. In the locked position by the springs 15 is maintained, the ratchet 5 is thus through a total of four locking bolts 16 in the housing hood 8 against rotation locked.
- the one locking piece 12 has one on the outward-facing side Start-up cams 19 for cooperation with the actuator 4 and also a Fork piece 20, which is a receptacle for a fitting bridge piece 21 of the other locking piece 13 of the pair.
- the web piece 21 this other locking piece 13 has a projecting bevel 22 which with a provided in the base of the fork piece 20 of the locking piece 12 Sliding slope 23 interacts.
- the fork piece 20 of the locking piece 12 has a protruding bevel 24 on each fork arm.
- On the other Lock piece 13 is a head piece carrying the locking pin 16 25, which projects laterally over the web piece 13 and on the underside Sliding slopes 26 which with the projecting slopes 24 des Bolt piece 12 can cooperate.
- On the bridge piece 21 of the locking piece 13 and the two fork arms of the fork piece 20 of the locking piece 12 there are elongated holes 27 through which the axis of rotation 7 pass can.
- the locking piece 12 also has a receiving cam 19.
- the two locking pieces 12, 13 are at 90 ° offset to each other in the two pockets 14.
- the web piece 21 of the Bolt piece 13 engages in the fork piece 20 of the bolt piece 12.
- Die projecting bevel 22 of the locking piece 13 is ready to the Slant 23 of the fork piece 20 of the locking piece 12, while the protruding bevels 24 on the fork arms of the locking piece 12 ready for action on a section of the sliding bevels 26 of the head piece 25 of the locking piece 13 are.
- the two locking pieces 12, 13 can be pushed as far into one another be that they laterally in the pockets 14 of the ratchet 5 can be inserted because in this maximum compression the Locking bolts 16 are retracted so far that they are still in the Bags fit.
- the springs 15 then press the locking pieces 12, 13 outwards so that they have the through bores 17 in the switching wheel 5 penetrate.
- a guide groove 31 that runs flat for manufacturing reasons is provided, one end wall 32 of which has a stop for additional locking the one direction of rotation of the ratchet wheel in the starting position are defined.
- a small web piece 33 engages in the guide groove 31 molded onto the inside of the housing hood 8 at a corresponding point is a. During the twisting movement, the ratchet 5 with the Guide groove 31 guided on the web piece 33.
- Figure 2 shows the switching mechanism in full locked position, the springs 15 are fully extended so that the locking pin 16 are located in the receiving bores 18 of the housing hood 8 and the ratchet 5 is locked against twisting.
- the lateral approach opening 10 in the housing hood 8 is free.
- Actuator 4 is inserted from there.
- Actuator 4 is is a special tool that is essentially projecting Area is bow-shaped and here in its with the switching mechanism cooperating area on the one hand has a cross member 34, and also in the front area of its two bracket arms special switching pieces 35 has.
- the locking piece 12 is there about its projecting bevels 24 with the bevels 26 under the Head piece 25 of the locking piece 13 is coupled in motion and is with returned, and so far to complete unlocking that the Locking pin 16 completely out of the receiving bores 18 of the housing hood 8 have returned ( Figure 3). The unlocking is now complete.
- Deviating from the application described above would be the top Anfahröffnuung 10 would be released in a comparable manner the actuator with the contact pieces 35 on the end face 36 of the Start cam 19 of the locking piece 12 act and push it back, the movement coupling and simultaneous return of the locking piece 13 then by the interaction of the projecting bevel 22 the locking piece 13 and the slope 23 in the base of the fork piece 20th the locking piece 12 would happen.
- the ratchet 5 can now by means of Actuator 4, which is inserted even further, are rotated, whereby in this phase (see Figure 4) the cross member 34 of the actuator 4 with the corresponding wall of the corresponding radial groove 6 of the ratchet wheel 5 cooperates in the sense of the rotation of the ratchet wheel.
- the ratchet wheel runs the less deep peripheral recess 28 from the engagement area of the switching plunger 2. This slides on the control wheel turn over the cam 29 until the deep circumferential recess 30 of the switching wheel 5 in the engagement area of the switching plunger 2 comes ( Figure 5b).
- the configuration of the special actuator 4 is free of Hold points or edges so that when closing a door or similar part of the body lying between the actuator and the switch, e.g. B. a hand is not injured.
