Definitions

  • the invention relates to a refrigerator with a body part delimiting a cooling space, on one side wall of which a refrigerator door is articulated, and with shelves which are held in a height-adjustable manner on the side walls of the cooling room.
  • Fridges of this type are known in different embodiments. In these there is a need to set up the shelves for receiving the goods to be cooled at different heights according to the wishes of the user. Furthermore, it is desirable to arrange the shelves to be extendable in order to facilitate access to the goods. If the shelves in the side guides are height-adjustable, they cannot be pulled out. If the shelves are guided in horizontal, drawer-like guides, a separate guide must be provided for each height.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a refrigerator of the type mentioned, the shelves are extendable with the possibility of any height adjustability.
  • this object is achieved in a refrigerator of the generic type in that the side walls in horizontal planes parallel to one another, each with two spaced apart Arranged recesses are provided, which are provided in the direction of the opening side of the refrigerator with bevels or roundings, that the lateral end edges of the shelves have grooves consisting of grooves, in each of which a sled-like element is slidably guided, which on both sides with resilient connectors in the Latching projections are provided, and that the latching of the latching projections in the latching recesses can be released by pulling out the shelves with the sledge-like elements in the pull-out direction.
  • the shelves are first of all adjustable in height in that the slide-like elements can be locked at the desired height in the locking recesses in the side walls.
  • the slide-like elements which can be locked with the locking recesses of the side walls also form guide pieces for the shelves, so that the shelves can be pulled out by moving the slide-like elements in the groove-like guides of the end edges.
  • they can be lifted out together with the sledge-like elements.
  • a locking device securing the latching of the latching projections in the latching recesses is released, so that the shelves with the slide-like elements can be pulled out in the direction of extension of the shelves.
  • the locking recesses can be pulled out over the bevels or roundings of the locking recesses, which form exit ramps as it were.
  • the locking projections are expediently provided on their rear sides with extensions which are supported on the groove bases of the guides and lock the locking projections on the locking recesses, the groove bases being provided with openings in an unlocked position of the shelf into which the extensions can dip, NEN, and wherein the locking device consists of an arbitrarily actuatable, insertable or pivotable element which prevents the slide from being displaced into the release position or which locks the locking projections in the locked position.
  • the element has a stop for the slide which can be released when it is actuated, or a locking device and a pin or the like which locks the slide in the release position in the groove.
  • a stop for the slide which can be released when it is actuated, or a locking device and a pin or the like which locks the slide in the release position in the groove.
  • the locks each consist of a two-armed, rocker-like lever pivotally mounted on the end edges of the shelves, which carries the stop or bolt at the end of its one lever arm and the pin at the end of its other lever arm, the lever being directed towards by a spring the indented position of the stop or bolt is applied.
  • the lever arm carrying the pin can form an actuation button, by pressing the latches can be released and the slide-like element is locked in the guides of the shelves.
  • the carriage expediently has a central block-like part provided with an elongated hole, into which the pin can reach for locking the slide in the release position.
  • the shelves can consist of plates which engage in grooves in the lateral edge profiles, the edge profiles being held together by brackets, and the edge profiles forming the lateral end edges of the shelves provided with the guides.
  • these can consist of strip-shaped parts with spring arches.
  • a holding web is connected to the outside of each sled-like element, which has a resilient plate overlapping the groove-bounding wall, which on its side pointing towards the center of the board carries a web which is approximately at right angles to the plate and which holds behind the plate side of the guide pointing towards the center of the board.
  • This resilient plate has a length between the holding web and its free end that the web connected to the inner edge of the plate can be raised resiliently over the wall delimiting the groove, so that it is held behind after insertion of the slide into the guide groove the guide bar engages.
  • the plate starting from its retaining web to form a push button, rises at an acute angle to the outside of the wall delimiting the groove and carries a projection on its underside which has a latching recess in the retracted and extended position of the shelf aligned in the wall of the groove, and that by pressing the button the projection engages in a position in the locking recess in the extensions forming the holding pieces can dip into the breakthroughs.
  • the latching projection is brought into engagement with the latching recess by corresponding actuation of the pushbutton, so that the slide-like element is locked in its guide in a position that by pulling out the Bordes the projections forming the holding pieces are pushed into the openings, so that the locking of the locking projections in the locking recesses of the side walls is released and the slide-like elements can be moved to the desired height position and locked there again.
  • the sled-like element expediently carries on its side opposite the holding web a further web which carries an arm which overlaps the upper or lower side of the guide, a U-shaped recess being formed between the arm and the sled-like element, which forms the outer edge region of the Bounding guide groove bounding wall.
  • a groove is expediently also formed between the part of the resilient plate connected to the holding web and the slide-like element, which surrounds the outer edge region of a wall delimiting the guide groove.
  • the edge of the wall of the groove overlapped by the resilient plate is expediently provided with a recess, the step-like ends of which form stops for webs connected to the slide-like element.
  • These webs can be the webs carrying the resilient plate and the arm.
  • the stops are expediently arranged in such a way that when the slide-like element is driven against a stop, the projection connected to it engages in the latching recess of the guide by pressing the pushbutton. In this way, the position in which the projection can engage in the locking recess of the guide by actuating the pushbutton, can be easily found, so that the corresponding locking position does not have to be laboriously sought for the purpose of moving the board.
  • the slide-like element can advantageously be produced with the parts connected to it as a one-piece plastic injection-molded part.
  • FIG. 1 shows a conventional refrigerator 1 with a body part 2 delimiting a cooling space, the opening side of which can be closed by a door 3 hinged to a side wall of the body part 2.
  • latching recesses 5 are provided at a distance from one another in two vertical rows, two of which belong to each side wall 4 and are located in a common horizontal plane.
  • Carriage-like elements are held in two latching recesses 5 located in the same horizontal plane, which engage in guides of the lateral profiles 6 of the shelves 7, so that the shelves are displaceably guided on these carriage-like elements.
  • the profiles 6 forming the side edges of the shelves 7 have an essentially rectangular cross section.
  • the profiles 6 are provided with a groove 9 into which the side edges of the side plate 8, which can consist of a glass plate, are inserted.
  • the profiles 6 have in their end regions on their upper sides bores into which the angled ends of retaining brackets 10 are inserted, so that the two side profiles 6 are clamped together by the brackets 10 and form brackets for the board 8 with their mutually facing grooves.
  • the lateral profiles 6 of the flange 7 also have on their outer sides end-closed grooves 12 which are horizontally offset from the grooves 9 holding the flange plate 8 and form guides for a sled-like element 13.
  • the sled-like element 13 consists of a central, block-like part 14 which is provided with an elongated hole 16 parallel to the base 15 of the groove 12.
  • the central, block-like part 14 is adjoined on both sides by resilient webs 17, 18 with trapezoidal locking projections 19, 20 in cross section.
  • the trapezoidal locking projections 19, 20 have on their rear sides extensions 21, 22 which can slide against the groove base 19 of each side profile 6.
  • the sled-like elements 13, like the edge profiles 6, consist of one-piece plastic injection molded parts.
  • the wall 24 of the side profile delimiting the groove base 15 is provided at its front end with a first window-like opening 25 and at a distance from the projections 21, 22 with a second window-like opening 26.
  • the lateral profiles 6 are provided on their underside in the area of their front end with a two-armed lever, which is pivotally mounted about the joint 27 and whose lever arms 28, 29 are at an obtuse angle to one another.
  • the lever arms 28, 29 have angled, pin-like projections 30, 31 at their free ends. These locking projections can penetrate openings 32, 33 in the lower wall 34 of the profiles 6.
  • a compression spring 36 is clamped, which tries to pivot the two-armed lever 28, 29 in the manner shown in FIG. 2 in such a way that the projection 30 through the opening 33 in the groove 12 engages and there forms a locking stop for the sled-like element 13.
  • the extension 22 of the locking projection 20 is provided with a recess 37 into which the projection 30 engages when the slide-like element 13 is moved to the front end of the groove 12. If the projection 30 engages in the recess 37 of the projection 22, the latching projection 20 is locked in the latching recess 5, so that the latching projection 20 cannot emerge from the latching recess 5. In this locked position there is also the projection 21 of the locking projection 19 in front of the window-like opening 26, so that the locking projection 19 cannot move out of the locking recess.
  • the pin-like projection 31 can be inserted into the slot 16 of the middle part of the slide-like element 13 enter the groove 12 by disengaging the pin-like projection 30, so that the slide-like element 13 is fixed to the outer end of the groove 12 in the manner shown in FIGS. 5 and 6.
  • the latching projections 19, 20 with their trapezoidally beveled front sides can provide the complementary flanks of the recesses 5 slide outwards so that the peg-like projections 21, 22 pass through the window-like openings 25, 26 and the slide-like elements 13 are unlocked and can be lifted out together with the board. If the lever arms 29, which form actuation buttons, are pushed in further, the shelves can be moved in any way and inserted into other latching recesses 5 for their locking at the desired height.
  • the two-armed levers 28, 29 are located at the front ends of the undersides of the side profiles 6, so that they can be actuated in a simple manner when moving the shelves with one finger each of one hand.
  • the middle parts 14 and the end-side, pin-like projections 21, 22 form the holding pieces for the shelves which engage in the lateral grooves 12.
  • the end-side, pin-like projections 21, 22 are at such a distance from one another that the shelves have sufficient tilting stability.
