Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Zigaretten-Packung mit Deckel, insbesondere Klappschachtel, mit einem Schachtelteil und einer darin aufgenommenen Zigaretten-Gruppe, insbesondere für teilbare Zigaretten (z. Beispiel bekannt aus EP-A-0 443 365).
  • Die Erfindung befaßt sich vorrangig mit der Ausgestaltung von Klappschachteln (Hinge-Lid-Packungen), einem weltweit stark verbreiteten Packungstyp für Zigaretten. Der übliche Aufbau dieses Packungstyps sieht so aus, daß eine Zigaretten-Gruppe in einen Innenzuschnitt aus Papier oder Stanniol eingehüllt ist und einen Zigaretten-Block als Packungsinhalt bildet. Der Zigaretten-Block sitzt im Schachtelteil der Klappschachtel. Ein Deckel ist schwenkbar mit einer Rückwand des Schachtelteils verbunden. Die Erfindung befaßt sich mit einer Neugestaltung dieser oder ähnlicher Packungen. Insbesondere geht es darum, zusätzliche Verwendungsmöglichkeiten solcher Packungen zu schaffen.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, Zigaretten-Packungen der eingangs genannten Art dahingehend weiterzuentwickeln, daß Teilzigaretten zur zeitweiligen Aufbewahrung in der Packung Aufnahme finden können.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Zigaretten-Packung dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Länge der Zigaretten geringer ist als die Höhe bzw. Länge der Zigaretten-Packung, derart, daß bei geschlossener Zigaretten-Packung oberhalb der Zigaretten-Gruppe bzw. des Zigaretten-Blocks im Inneren des Deckels ein Hohlraum zur Aufnahme wenigstens einer querliegend angeordneten Zigarette oder Teilzigarette gebildet ist.
  • Die erfindungsgemäße Zigaretten-Packung weist demnach einen vom Packungsinhalt, also vom Zigaretten-Block, nicht ausgefüllten Hohlraum auf, der zur Positionierung mindestens einer Zigarette bzw. einer Teilzigarette kürzerer Länge dient.
  • Die Erfindung ist besonders vorteilhaft anwendbar bei teilbaren Zigaretten, von denen jeweils nur eine Teilzigarette geraucht, die andere Teilzigarette aber bis zum Gebrauch aufzubewahren ist. Solche Zigaretten sind so ausgebildet, daß sie vorzugsweise in der Mitte geteilt werden können unter Bildung von zwei eigenständig zu rauchenden Teilzigaretten. Bei der erfindungsgemäßen Zigaretten-Packung findet die bis zum späteren Verbrauch aufzubewahrende (Teil-)Zigarette Aufnahme in dem im Deckel der Packung gebildeten Hohlraum.
  • Die Zigaretten-Packung sowie die Zigaretten bzw. Teilzigaretten sind hinsichtlich ihrer Abmessungen erfindungsgemäß so aufeinander abgestimmt, daß die aufzubewahrende (Teil-)Zigarette passend in dem im Deckel gebildeten Hohlraum positioniert werden kann und dort mit einer gewissen Klemmwirkung fixiert ist.
  • Weitere Einzelheiten der Erfindung werden nachfolgend anhand eines in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels der Zigaretten-Packung und einer Zigarette näher erläutert. Es zeigt:

  • Das in den Zeichnungen dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel befaßt sich mit einer in den wesentlichen Gestaltungsmerkmalen herkömmlichen Klappschachtel für Zigaretten 10. Eine solche Klappschachtel besteht aus einem (unteren) Schachtelteil 11 und einem Deckel 12. Das Schachtelteil 11 besteht aus Vorderwand 13, Rückwand 14, Seitenwänden 15 und 16 sowie einer Bodenwand 17. Innerhalb des Schachtelteils 11 befindet sich ein Kragen 18 mit einer Kragen-Vorderwand 19 und Kragen-Seitenwänden 20, 21. Der Kragen befindet sich mit einem unteren Teilbereich innerhalb des Schachtelteils 11. Ein aus diesem herausragender oberer Teilbereich wird in Schließstellung der Zigaretten-Packung durch den Deckel 12 umschlossen.
  • Der Deckel 12 besteht aus Deckel-Vorderwand 22, Deckel-Rückwand 23, Deckel-Seitenwänden 24, 25 und einer Deckel-Oberwand 26. Die Deckel-Rückwand 23 ist über eine Gelenklinie 27 schwenkbar mit der Rückwand 14 des Schachtelteils 11 verbunden. Der so ausgebildete Deckel 12 umgibt in Schließstellung (Fig. 1, Fig. 3) einen oberen, aus dem Schachtelteil 11 herausragenden Teil des Packungsinhalts und des Kragens 18.
  • Der Packungsinhalt ist eine Gruppe von Zigaretten 10, also eine Zigaretten-Gruppe 28. Diese ist allseitig von einer Innenumhüllung 29 aus Papier oder Stanniol umgeben. Es entsteht so ein Zigaretten-Block 30.
  • Der Zigaretten-Block 30 füllt den Querschnitt der Zigaretten-Packung bzw. des Schachtelteils 11 vollständig aus. Üblicherweise ist eine derartige Zigaretten-Packung auf eine Formation der Zigaretten 10 in drei Reihen ausgerichtet, wobei die Zigaretten 10 der mittleren Reihe versetzt zu den Zigaretten 10 der beiden äußeren Reihen liegen.
  • Die Höhe des Zigaretten-Blocks 30 ist aufgrund entsprechender Länge der Zigaretten 10 geringer als die Höhe der Zigaretten-Packung bzw. des Innenraums derselben. Es entsteht dadurch bei geschlossener Zigaretten-Packung ein Hohlraum bzw. eine Kammer 31 im oberen Bereich der Zigaretten-Packung, nämlich im Deckel 12. Die Kammer 31 ist demnach begrenzt von einer oberen Stirnwand 32 des Zigaretten-Blocks 30 und durch die Wandungen des Deckels 12.
  • Die Kammer 31 dient der (zeitweiligen) Aufnahme mindestens einer Zigarette bzw. Teilzigarette 33.
  • Die Zigarette bzw. Teilzigarette 33 liegt innerhalb der Kammer 31 queraxial zu den Zigaretten 10 der Zigaretten-Gruppe 28. Die Kammer 31 ist bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel so bemessen, daß deren Höhe etwa dem Durchmesser einer Zigarette bzw. Teilzigarette 33 entspricht. Die Länge der Kammer 31, nämlich die Erstreckung von einer Deckel-Seitenwand 24 zur anderen Deckel-Seitenwand 25, entspricht im vorliegenden Falle der Länge der aufzunehmenden Zigarette bzw. Teilzigarette 33. Vorzugsweise sind die Abmessungen so aufeinander abgestimmt, daß die Teilzigarette 33 mit einer gewissen Klemmwirkung unter Abstützung an der Innenseite der Deckel-Seitenwände 24, 25 in der Kammer gehalten ist. Die Teilzigarette 33 wird bei geöffneter Zigaretten-Packung in den Deckel 12 eingelegt und kann ebenfalls bei geöffneter Zigaretten-Packung aus der Kammer 31 wieder entnommen werden.
  • Die Zigaretten 10 sind als "Doppelzigaretten" so ausgebildet, daß sie - im vorliegenden Falle mittig - teilbar sind, so daß zwei Teilzigaretten 33 entstehen. Die Zigarette 10 ist zu diesem Zweck an beiden Enden mit je einem üblichen Filterstück 34 versehen. Zigarettenpapier 35 erstreckt sich über die volle Länge der Zigarette 10. Nach Teilung der Zigarette 10 entstehen zwei selbständig nutzbare Teilzigaretten 33, je mit einem Filterstück 34. Das Zigarettenpapier 35 ist in der Längsmitte der Zigarette 10 mit einer Schwächungslinie, insbesondere Perforation 36 versehen, um ein leichtes Teilen zu ermöglichen. Die Zigarette 10 kann auch in anderer Weise ausgebildet sein, zum Beispiel mit einem mittigen Doppelfilter, der teilbar ist zur Bildung von zwei Teilzigaretten 33.
  • Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform können die Zigaretten-Packung und deren Inhalt folgende Abmessungen aufweisen: Die Zigaretten-Packung selbst hat eine Breite von 56 mm, eine Tiefe von 23 mm und eine Höhe von 121 mm. Der Durchmesser der Zigarette 10 beträgt 8 mm. Die Länge der Zigaretten 10 ist auf 112 mm festgelegt. Hieraus ergibt sich eine Höhe der Kammer 31 von etwa 8 mm (lichtes Innenmaß). Die in dieser Kammer 31 aufzunehmende Zigarette bzw. Teilzigarette 33 hat bei mittiger Teilung einer Zigarette 10 vorstehender Abmessung eine Länge von 56 mm. Diese Abmessung entspricht der Breite der Packung, so daß - unter Berücksichtigung der Materialstärken - die Teilzigarette 33 mit leichter Klemmwirkung im Deckel 12 gehalten ist.
  • Die Klappschachtel kann auch so ausgebildet und hinsichtlich der Abmessungen auf die Zigaretten 10 bzw. Teilzigaretten 33 abgestimmt sein, daß diese nicht in einer exakten Querlage parallel zur Deckel-Vorderwand 22 bzw. Deckel-Rückwand 23 positioniert ist, sondern diagonal von einer Ecke bzw. Innenkante des Deckels 12 zur diagonal gegenüberliegenden Innenkante des Deckels.

Claims (4)

  1. Zigaretten-Packung mit Deckel (12), insbesondere Klappschachtel, mit einem Schachtelteil (11) und einer darin aufgenommenen Zigaretten-Gruppe (28), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Länge der Zigaretten (10) geringer ist als die Höhe bzw. Länge der Zigaretten-Packung, derart, daß bei geschlossener Zigaretten-Packung oberhalb der Zigaretten-Gruppe (28) bzw. eines Zigaretten-Blocks (30) im Inneren des Deckels (12) ein Hohlraum (31) zur Aufnahme wenigstens einer querliegend angeordneten Zigarette oder Teilzigarette (33) gebildet ist.
  2. Zigaretten-Packung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich der Hohlraum (31) oberhalb der Zigaretten-Gruppe (28) über den gesamten Querschnitt des Deckels (12) erstreckt und in der Höhe etwa der Dicke einer Zigarette oder Teilzigarette (33) entspricht.
  3. Zigaretten-Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abmessung des Hohlraums (Kammer 31) im Deckel (12) in Längsrichtung desselben der Länge einer Zigarette oder Teilzigarette (33) entspricht, derart, daß diese zwischen Deckel-Seitenwänden (24, 25) quer oder diagonal einklemmbar ist.
  4. Zigaretten-Packung nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die die Zigaretten-Gruppe (28) bzw. den Zigaretten-Block (30) bildenden Zigaretten vorzugsweise mittig teilbar sind und daß bei Entnahme einer Zigarette (10) und Teilung derselben eine der gebildeten Teilzigaretten passend in der Kammer (31) des Deckels (12) positionierbar ist.
