Abstract
Description
- La présente invention concerne un support textile pour l'entoilage de pièces d'habillement, en particulier un support textile destiné à constituer un entoilage thermocollant par dépôt sur l'une de ses faces de points de polymère thermofusible.
- Il existe deux catégories de support pour entoilage thermocollant : les supports textiles proprement dits et les non-tissés. Les supports textiles proprement dits sont des supports obtenus par tissage ou tricotage de fils ; les non-tissés sont des supports obtenus par constitution et consolidation d'une nappe de fibres ou de filaments. Chacun de ces deux types de support présente des avantages et des inconvénients. En particulier, malgré un coût de fabrication avantageux, les non-tissés présentent généralement des écarts de densité et des irrégularités de surface ainsi qu'une stabilité dimensionnelle insuffisante. Par contre le mode de réalisation, par tissage ou tricotage, des supports textiles proprement dits, confère à ceux-ci l'homogénéité structurelle et la stabilité qui fait défaut aux non-tissés.
- Du fait des contraintes particulières liées à la protection de l'environnement, on cherche dans tous les domaines à proposer des produits qui ne soient pas une source de pollution irréversible. Le but que s'est fixé le demandeur est de proposer un support pour entoilage thermocollant qui réponde à cette exigence de protection de la nature et qui soit du type support textile.
- Ce but est parfaitement atteint par le support pour entoilage thermocollant selon l'invention. Ce support est du type support textile en ce qu'il est constitué d'un tricot trame. De manière caractéristique, il est composé exclusivement de fils de matière cellulosique biodégradable, notamment en viscose, la chaîne étant exclusivement en fils continus multi-filaments.
- Lorsque le support pour entoilage de l'invention est exclusivement en viscose, il présente un certain caractère de biodégradabilité, dû à la mauvaise résistance aux micro-organismes de cette matière. Ainsi le mérite revient au demandeur d'avoir mis à profit ce qui était considéré jusqu'à présent comme un inconvénient tout en réalisant un type de support textile maille tramée qui puisse être utilisable pour la réalisation d'un entoilage thermocollant.
- De préférence, on a fait subir au tricot trame, préalablement à l'application des points de polymère thermofusible, un traitement d'humidification par pulvérisation d'eau ou par vaporisage de vapeur saturée suivi d'un compactage mécanique par passage entre un cylindre chauffé et une bande de compression, la température du cylindre étant au plus de 130°C.
- A la sortie du compactage, le tricot maille tramée est séché et fixé sur une calandre à feutre.
- Ce traitement préalable permet d'apporter au tricot trame un retrait contrôlé qui lui confère une stabilité suffisante pour son usage comme support textile pour l'entoilage thermocollant.
- Le compactage mécanique apporte, en plus de la stabilité, une élasticité ou extensibilité dans le sens chaîne qui confère à l'entoilage la capacité de s'adapter aux modifications dimensionnelles de la draperie à laquelle il est associé.
- Avantageusement cette stabilité peut encore être améliorée en faisant subir à l'entoilage thermocollant de l'invention, et donc après l'application des points de polymère thermofusible, un second traitement de compactage mécanique, similaire au premier, le cylindre n'étant chauffé qu'à une température inférieure à 80°C.
- La présente invention sera mieux comprise à la lecture de la description qui va être faite d'un exemple de réalisation de tricot chaîne en viscose pour entoilage thermocollant ainsi que de son procédé de fabrication, illustré par le dessin annexé dans lequel la figure unique est une représentation schématique du traitement de compression mécanique sur ledit tricot trame.
- La présente invention vise à proposer un support textile qui soit apte à être utilisé comme entoilage thermocollant et qui de plus présente une certaine biodégradabilité. Le but visé est de répondre aux exigences qui se font jour en matière de protection de l'environnement.
- De manière caractéristique il s'agit d'un support textile qui se présente sous la forme d'un tricot trame, dénommé encore tricot mailles tramées, qui est constitué exclusivement de fils de viscose. Un tel tricot est réalisé sur des métiers à tricoter du type chaîne ou Rachel à insertion de trame. Plus particulièrement le fil qui est introduit régulièrement entre les mailles dans la largeur du tricot et qui est dénommé fil de trame par analogie avec le tissage est un fil soit en filés de fibres, soit en filaments continus. Par contre, les fils constitutifs des mailles du tricot sont des fils de viscose continus multifilaments.
- Un tel tricot trame présente bien évidemment les mêmes propriétés que la viscose au regard de sa résistance aux micro-organismes : il est donc facilement attaquable par les bactéries; de plus il peut être dégradé par les moisissures qui se développent en milieu acide.
- La structure du tricot trame, avec la chaîne qui est exclusivement en fils continus multi-filamentaires, convient parfaitement pour l'application à l'entoilage thermocollant.
- Pour un tricot trame de 30 à 120 grammes par m², réalisé sur métier à tricoter du type chaîne ou Rachel à insertion de trame, le fil de trame est un fil de viscose de 100 à 1000 dtex. Chacun des filaments ou fibres discontinues, constituant ledit fil, a un titrage de l'ordre de 1dtex. Les fils constitutifs des mailles du tricot sont des fils continus de 44 à 150 dtex, dont les filaments ont un titrage de 1à 6 dtex.
- Après tricotage le tricot trame est lavé ou teint, puis soumis éventuellement à une opération de grattage destiné à améliorer le toucher et à augmenter le volume du tricot. Ensuite le tricot est éventuellement remis en largeur sur rame avant de subir un traitement de compactage mécanique visant à donner au tricot une bonne stabilité dimensionnelle.
- Ce traitement de compactage mécanique se substitue au traitement thermique de rétraction et stabilisation qui est habituel lorsque le support textile pour entoilage thermocollant est réalisé à partir de fils synthétiques.
- Un tel traitement est déjà bien connu par lui-même, notamment dans le procédé SANFOR ®.
- Sur la figure unique on a représenté les organes essentiels de la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé, à savoir le cylindre chauffant 1 et la bande de compression 2 en caoutchouc, entre lesquels est introduit le tricot trame 3 à traiter.
- La bande de compression 2 est une bande sans fin qui est montée sur des rouleaux 4, 5 et 6, disposés de telle sorte que ladite bande 2 vienne s'appliquer sur une partie de la périphérie du cylindre chauffant 1.
- Le rouleau d'entrée 4 est muni de moyens non représentés permettant de régler la pression d'appui de la bande 2 contre le cylindre 1.
- Le tricot trame 3 est alimenté entre le cylindre chauffant 1 et la bande de compression 2 au niveau du rouleau d'entrée 4. Préalablement à cette introduction le tricot trame 3 a été humidifié par vaporisage ou pulvérisation. Le taux de retrait obtenu est fonction des conditions d'alimentation du tricot trame 3, des vitesses linéaires respectives du cylindre chauffant 1 et de la bande de compression 2 ainsi que du réglage des moyens de pression équipant le rouleau d'entrée 4. Ce retrait est fixé sur le tricot trame 3 face à la conjonction de l'humidité et de la température.
- On comprend que pour obtenir un tricot trame pour entoilage thermocollant d'une largeur déterminée, il est nécessaire de tenir compte lors du tricotage proprement dit du taux de retrait obtenu au cours du traitement de compression mécanique.
- La température du cylindre chauffant est, dans le cas de la viscose, de l'ordre de 100 à 130° C.
- Après le traitement de compactage mécanique, le tricot trame peut être soumis à un traitement complémentaire de finissage, par exemple un grattage, en vue d'augmenter sa voluminosité et d'améliorer son toucher.
- Puis sur l'une des faces du tricot trame est déposé un polymère thermofusible. Le choix du polymère et le procédé pour effectuer le dépôt sous forme de points de ce polymère sur la face du tricot trame précité ne sont pas caractéristiques de la présente invention. Il peut s'agir notamment de copolyamides et/ou de copolyesters thermoplastiques et/ou de dérivés chimiques de l'un d'eux, ou des deux, seuls ou en combinaison avec des copolymères thermoplastiques.
- Bien que la proportion de polymère thermofusible soit faible par rapport au poids de l'entoilage thermocollant, afin de contribuer au caractère biodégradable de l'ensemble, il est souhaitable d'utiliser un polymère à bas point de fusion.
- Ladite matière thermocollante peut se présenter soit en dispersion aqueuse soit sous forme de poudre et le procédé d'application par points est fonction de la présentation correspondante.
- Afin d'améliorer encore la stabilité dimensionnelle de l'entoilage thermocollant, dans certaines applications, il peut être avantageux de soumettre ledit entoilage thermocollant à un traitement complémentaire de compactage mécanique du même type que celui qui a été décrit précédemment, mais dans lequel le cylindre chauffant 1 est porté à une température inférieure, de l'ordre de 40 à 80°C.
- En dehors de la viscose, il est possible de mettre en oeuvre d'autres matières cellulosiques biodégradables, par exemple l'acétate de cellulose, et - dans le cas de la trame - le coton.

- Support textile pour entoilage thermocollant constitué d'un tricot trame, caractérisé en ce qu'il est composé exclusivement de fils de matière cellulosique biodégradable, la chaîne étant exclusivement en fils continus multi-filaments.
- Support textile pour entoilage thermocollant selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce qu'il est exclusivement en viscose.
- Support textile pour entoilage thermocollant selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le tricot trame a subi préalablement à l'application des points de polymère thermofusible, un traitement d'humidification suivi d'un traitement de compactage mécanique par passage entre un cylindre chauffé et une bande de compression, la température du cylindre étant au plus de 130°C.
- Entoilage thermocollant, comportant le support textile selon la revendication 3 qui, après l'application des points de polymère thermofusible, a subi un second traitement d'humidification et de compactage mécanique, similaire au premier, le cylindre n'étant chauffé qu'à une température inférieure à 80°C.
- Entoilage thermocollant selon la revendication 4 ou comportant le support textile selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3 caractérisé en ce que les points de polymère déposés sur le support textile sont dans un polymère à bas point de fusion.
