  • the European standardization of the four-way flat pallet in particular has contributed to this. Their advantage is on the one hand that they can be used as an exchange pallet and common funds can be used and on the other hand that their constructive structure is relatively simple.
  • the pallets made of wood have the disadvantage that when used in companies where they are exposed to high humidity, e.g. in breweries, have a very short lifespan and in some cases have to be replaced after only two uses. Pallets have therefore already been made from sheet metal.   • the pallet manufactured according to European patent specification 0015576 consists of corrugated metal sheets.
