Das zu druckende Bild wird somit von dem mit Hülsen versehbaren Formzylinder direkt auf einen Druckträger übertragen. Das gleiche gilt auch für die aus der DE-C 490 994 bekannte Tiefdruckmaschine, bei der ebenfalls eine Hülse für den Tiefdruckformzylinder durch die Seitenwand auswechselbar ist, wobei bei dieser bekannten Druckmaschine die inneren drehbaren Teile auf dem Achszapfen des freizulegenden Endes des Zylinders verbleiben und die äußeren Teile des Lagers wegschwenkbar sind, so daß jedenfalls stets von der Seite her durch die Seitenwand eine Hülse auf den Zylinder aufschiebbar ist. - A transfer cylinder (5) mounted between two printer side walls (12, 13), one end (30) of which is mounted floating on the associated printer side wall (12) and the other end (31) of which can be exposed from the bearing (32) in the associated printer side wall (13), so that an aperture (34) exists in this printer side wall (13), the cross-section of which is larger than the cross-section of a transfer sleeve (1a), which carries an elastic coating (11) arranged on a support sleeve (2), and which can be pushed onto the transfer cylinder (5) through this aperture (34), wherein after placement of the transfer sleeve (1a) on the transfer cylinder (5) the bearing (32) of the transfer cylinder (5) can be replaced in the aperture (34) at the level of the transfer cylinder (5).
- Transfer cylinder (5) according to claim 1, characterised in that it is simply configured.
