Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sash frame with espagnolette fitting for windows, doors or the like.
  • the wing spars have an open, stepped groove as a so-called Euro groove with an outer, wide groove step and inner, narrow groove step on their fold circumferential surface and in which in the outer , wide groove step is a drive rod profile with its longitudinal edges, which can be brought into longitudinally sliding holding engagement with guide pieces which are seated in the area of the inner, narrow groove step or are fixed by means of fastening elements - primarily screws.
  • Sash frames of this type are already known from DE-OS 27 12 243.
  • the sash frames are assembled from wooden or plastic profiles, the open, stepped groove of which is designed as a so-called Euro groove on the circumferential surface of the fold.
  • the drive rod profiles of the drive rod fitting essentially have a double T-shaped cross section with an upper flange, the width and thickness of which are matched to the outer, wide groove step in the wing spars.
  • the lower flange of this double-T profile is narrower than the width of the inner, narrow groove step in the wing spar.
  • the guide pieces for the longitudinally slidable mounting of the drive rod profile in the stepped groove on the folded peripheral surface of the wing spars have an approximately C-shaped cross section and are designed to complement the lower flange of the drive rod profile. They are fixed in place on the floor of the inner, narrow groove step using screws.
  • drive rod profiles have already been proposed for installation in casements made of plastic profiles with grooves arranged on the rabbet side and undercut profiled grooves, which are made from strip strips of flat rectangular cross-section, and also fastened on the underside with a certain spacing, for example riveted, Mushroom head cones are provided.
  • This known drive rod design is still relatively complex and expensive to manufacture due to the large number of mushroom head pegs to be individually fitted at the factory.
  • it also has the disadvantage that it must be inserted into the wing spars provided with the undercut groove over the entire length thereof.
  • the aim of the invention is to create a casement frame with espagnolette fitting for windows, doors or the like of the type specified at the outset, which, with a structurally simple basic concept, ensures problem-free and functionally reliable installation of the espagnolettes in the open, stepped groove located on the circumferential surface of the wing spars.
  • a cuff-rail profile with a flat cross section is provided or used as the drive rod profile, which has cranks transverse to its plane at predetermined points over its length at predetermined points over its length and over a predetermined length, that the offsets are directed away from the groove and contain elongated holes or longitudinal slots which are adapted to the length of the pushing path of the drive rod, that button-like molded parts can be used as guide pieces in the elongated holes or longitudinal slots, which have a head resting on the outside of the drive rod, a neck passing through the drive rod and a foot under it and a central through-channel, that the foot on the one hand has a width that is smaller than the width of the elongated holes or longitudinal slots in the drive rod and on the other hand has a length that is adapted to the width of the outer, wide groove step of the stepped groove, that at least the foot ends are provided with a thickness which is adapted to the depth of the offset in the drive rod, and that the button-like molded parts can
  • the particular advantage of this proposed solution according to the invention is that the guide pieces can be coupled to the drive rod profile before or during its insertion into the open, stepped groove on the folded peripheral surface of the wing spars and that the guide pieces can still be anchored in the open, stepped groove, after their engagement connection with the drive rod profile has already been established or completed.
  • the striking work for the espagnolette fitting is thus considerably facilitated and simplified.
  • the button-like molded parts can still be inserted subsequently into the elongated holes or longitudinal slots of the drive rod and can be coupled to the latter by a simple angular rotation, for example of 90 °, the neck of which as a guide element in the elongated hole or longitudinal slot is recorded.
  • the invention further provides that only the foot of the button-like molded parts in the coupling position is supported with its ends on the outer wide groove step of the stepped groove, but that it has an extension section on the underside which protrudes into the inner, narrow groove step of the stepped groove.
  • extension section has inclined or conical centering surfaces on its transverse sides assigned to the ends of the foot, which facilitate the insertion of the connecting rod fitting into the open, stepped groove.
  • a wing spar 1 of a window, a door or the like is shown, which is provided behind its flap 2 on the folded surface 3 with an open, stepped groove 4 - a so-called euro groove.
  • the stepped groove 4 has an outer, wide groove step 5 with an opening width 6 and an inner, narrower groove step 7 with an opening width 8.
  • the outer groove step 5 is provided with a relatively small depth 9, while the inner groove step 7 has a greater profile depth 10 having.
  • the outer, wide groove step 5 has an opening width 6 of 16 mm, while it has a depth 9 of about 2.5 mm.
  • the inner, narrow groove step 7, on the other hand, is provided with an opening width 8 of 12 mm, while its depth 10 is approximately 9 mm.
  • a faceplate profile with a rectangular cross section is provided or used, the width of which only minimally falls below the opening width 6 of the outer groove step 5 and the thickness of which at least approximately corresponds to the depth 9 of this groove step 5.
  • the cross-section of the drive rod 12 which has a flat, rectangular cross-section, has crankings or embossments 14 at least a part of its material thickness and over a predetermined length, which extend from the groove 4 are directed, as can be clearly seen in the drawing.
  • crankings or embossments 14 is provided with an elongated hole or a longitudinal slot 15 which is adapted to the length of the thrust path of the drive rod 12.
  • guide pieces 16 are used, one of which can be releasably inserted into an elongated hole or a longitudinal slot 15 of the drive rod 12.
  • These guide pieces 16 are designed as button-like molded parts, which have a head 17 coming into contact with the outside of the drive rod 12, a neck 18 penetrating the elongated hole or the longitudinal slot 15 of the same as a guide element, and a foot 19 engaging under it.
  • a central through-channel 20 passes through the head 17, the neck 18 and the foot 19, it being provided with a countersink 21 in the head 17.
  • the head 17 of the guide piece 16 designed as a button-like molded part has a diameter 22 which is preferably dimensioned slightly smaller than the opening width 6 of the outer, wide groove step 5 in the wing spar 1.
  • the diameter 23 of the neck 18 is matched to the width of the elongated hole or the longitudinal slot 15 in the faceplate 12 with little play and the foot 19 has a width 24 corresponding to this diameter 23, the latter in turn has a length 25 which is at least approximately corresponds to the diameter 22 of the head 17.
  • the length 25 of the foot 19 is matched to the opening width 6 of the outer, wide groove step 5 in the wing spar 1.
  • At least the two ends 26 of the foot 19 are provided with a thickness which is adapted to the depth of the cranks or embossments 14 in the drive rod 12.
  • the guide piece 16 designed as a button-like molded part can be inserted with its foot 19 through the elongated hole or the longitudinal slot 15 of the drive rod 12, so that the neck 18 is accommodated therein when the head 17 is open the outer end face of the drive rod 12 comes to the support system.
  • the guide piece 16 can be brought into the position shown in FIG. 3 by a rotation of 90 degrees.
  • the foot 19 comes on the underside of the drive rod 12 with its two ends 26 to the support in the outer, wide groove step 5, while an underside extension section 28 of the foot 19 protrudes into the inner, narrow groove step 7 of the stepped groove 4, as clearly shown 3 drawing shows.
  • the extension section 28 is provided on its transverse sides assigned to the ends 26 of the foot 19 with inclined or conical centering surfaces 29, which bring about a correct alignment of the guide piece 16 relative to the stepped groove 4.
  • a screw 30, namely a countersunk screw can be screwed through its central through-channel 20 into the base of the groove 4 in order to thereby ensure the fixed fit of the Fix the relevant guide piece 16 on the wing spar 1 and consequently ensure the functionally displaceable mounting of the drive rod 12 in the wide groove step 5 of the stepped groove 4 on the wing spar 1.
  • Such functionally necessary fitting parts are, for example, corner deflections, with the aid of which two drive rods 12 arranged on different wing spars 1 of the same wing must be coupled to one another in a gearbox.
  • corner deflections consist of an angular guide channel that can be used in the area of the narrow groove step 7 and deflection links, for example spring steel strips, link chains or the like, which are guided longitudinally in this area.
  • actuating gears 31 at least partially — can also be accommodated as functionally necessary fitting parts, as can be seen, for example, in FIG. 4 of the drawing.
  • This actuating gear 31 has a gear housing 32, in which the drive rod 12 is guided in a longitudinally sliding manner, and which also supports a drive pinion 33, which in turn meshes with a toothed rack 34.
  • This rack 34 rests on the rear side of the drive rod 12 and is positively coupled to it via angled lugs 35 which engage in driver recesses 36 of the drive rod 12.
