Definitions

  • the invention relates to a locking element for fixing the edges of adjacent partition wall panels of the type that two plasterboard panels are held at a distance from one another by cell-shaped transverse ribs.
  • a partition wall locking device in particular for furniture, which, like the present locking element, has a guide housing which can be fully inserted into the edge region of the partition wall plate and a pin which is displaceably guided in the guide housing and which functions in conjunction with the pressure piece according to the application is comparable.
  • This bolt protrudes in one end position beyond the edge of the intermediate plate and can be pressed against the spring force into the housing until it is fully recessed under the upper edge of the housing.
  • this locking element is designed for the detection of solid wooden partitions and is not readily suitable in this form for the determination of the existing plasterboard intermediate plates, the locking element also requires a great deal of skill when installing the intermediate wall plate. If one needs several such locking elements, as in the case of the present intermediate wall panels, it is not possible without additional help to press all the bolts into the sleeves at the same time and to hold them there until the intermediate wall panels are positioned between the metal strips. The same also applies when defining the edges of adjacent partition wall panels.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of designing the locking element in such a way that it is easier to handle and more universal in use.
  • the locking elements should be easy to manufacture from plastic, so that the costs for each fastening point can be reduced.
  • the locking element specified in claim 1 is proposed, which is distinguished by the following advantages: the locking elements can be used both for fastening the wall panels to one another and for fastening the wall panels to the side walls and ceilings.
  • the locking elements composed of the housing and the pressure piece are pressed with their housings into the space between the gypsum plasterboard at the intended fastening points along the plate edges and brought in front of the edge of the adjacent partition wall plate with the pressure piece engaged. Then the latching is released by lateral pushing away of the detent spring and the pressure piece pushes about half in the opposite space as a result of the resilient spring arms, so that the wall edges are fixed to one another.
  • fastening plates with rectangular recesses must first be fastened at the intended fastening points, into which the pressure pieces can penetrate when the plate edge is swung past.
  • These mounting plates are expediently dimensioned in width so that their outer edges just end with the plasterboard.
  • the locking element shown in the figures is made of a hard elastic plastic and is composed of a pressure piece 1 and a housing 2, in which the pressure piece 1 is displaceably guided in the installed state.
  • the pressure piece 1 here consists of two longitudinal walls 3 and two transverse walls 4 connected to them at right angles and is provided with guide surfaces 5 and 6 at the corners (FIGS. 1-3). Inside there are two transverse webs 7, on each of which an upper locking lug 8 and a lower locking lug 9 are formed opposite one another.
  • the side walls 3 have on the upper edge angled inward, roof-shaped beveled sliding webs 10, which are interrupted in the central area by a recess 11 extending into the side walls 3.
  • the associated guide housing 2 consists of two transverse walls 12 which are connected to one another in a U-shape in the lower region by two outer longitudinal webs 13 and a central longitudinal web 14.
  • the two outer webs 13 are continued along the transverse walls 12 inwards as guide webs 15 and outwards as reinforcing ribs 16 up to the top.
  • At the upper end of the guide webs 15 or reinforcing ribs 16 outwardly projecting wedge-shaped projections 17 are provided, the tips 18 of which are directed downwards.
  • spring arms 19 and 20 are formed obliquely upward in their lower regions, which each end shortly in front of the opposite transverse wall 12 and cross each other.
  • a vertically upstanding spring web 21 with an approximately is still on the central web 14 at the level of the housing edge T-shaped projecting crossbar 22 is provided, which cooperates with the locking lugs 8 and 9 of the pressure piece 1 such that the pressure piece 1 can be locked both at half and at full immersion depth (see. Fig. 7/8 or 9/10).
  • the pressure piece 1 lies with its transverse webs 7 loosely on the ends of the spring arms 19 and 20, while in the latter case the spring arms 19 and 20 are bent downwards.
  • the locking element is intended to fix the edges against one another or against the ceiling when installing partition wall panels 23 in rooms.
  • These are intermediate wall panels 23 of a known type, in which two plasterboard panels 24 are kept at a distance from one another by cell-like or honeycomb-shaped transverse ribs 25.
  • the operation of the locking element is clearly shown.
  • the element is first pressed into the intermediate wall plate 23 until the wedge-shaped projections 17 have fully penetrated the edge of the plasterboard 24.
  • the housing 2 penetrates into the space between the plasterboard 24 and at the same time pushes the cell-shaped transverse ribs 25 aside.
  • a recess 11 is provided in the pressure piece 1 in the longitudinal walls 3.
  • FIG. 13 shows the installation of the intermediate wall panels 23 in a room or a room, the right panel 23 already being fastened on the floor and on the side wall by means of a mounting strip 27 and on the ceiling by means of locking elements 1, 2.
  • the next plate 23 is already on the mounting bar 27 with the bottom edge and is being swung up.
  • the locking elements 1, 2 are installed in the side edge of the already standing plate 23 with completely recessed thrust pieces 1, so that the next plate 23 with its right outer edge goes well past it.
  • Elongated plates 28 are fastened to the ceiling with recesses 29, into which the locking elements 1, 2 inserted in the upper edge engage after the plate 23 has been swung up, the sliding webs 10 ensuring that the pressure pieces 1 - like a door catch - along the Spring back the inclined surface (see Fig. 15 a to c).
