- Such relays are known in many forms, for example from DE 35 28 715 A1 describing the closest prior art or EP 0 113 440 A1. These relays have the advantage of a very simple construction, the use of an additional slide being avoided by the direct connection between the armature and the contact spring, and the contact spring often also taking over the storage and resetting of the armature. With the two contact pieces on the free end of the contact spring, this can be used as a bridge contact or as a double contact, a soft spring characteristic being achieved by the constriction between the fastening of the spring on the armature and the transverse legs. At the same time, torsion of the spring to compensate for tolerances when switching is possible in this way.
