Definitions

  • the invention relates to a roof hook for attaching a ladder or the like to a roof covering, consisting of a holder arm which can be fixed on the roof, the eaves-side end of which is bent up to form a hook, and which in its area facing the roof covering is a ridge side of the hook apex for hanging one
  • Has safety rope or the like serving eyelet which is formed by at least one incision extending parallel to the longitudinal direction of the roof hook and by bending out a strip lying next to this incision into the interior of the hook.
  • Such a roof hook is part of the prior art (DE-30 18 721 C2).
  • Such a roof hook can be produced with little effort, because the production takes place solely by cutting and bending.
  • the eyelet tapers preferably towards the top of the hook, so that when a shock load is absorbed by it, it widens over a hooked carabiner hook of a safety rope and thereby dampens the shock load.
  • roof hooks In addition to such roof hooks, other elements are often required on the roof for other purposes, for example hooks for fastening roofing chairs or roof protection walls, snow guard supports and snow stoppers. These elements are specifically designed for the individual tasks.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a roof hook that can be used universally for different purposes.
  • the hook in the area of its free end facing away from the roof covering has a multiple eyelet delimited by three strips, which have two incisions extending in the longitudinal direction of the roof hook, by bending out between them Incisions lying central strip out of the hook contour and by bending the two edge strips from the central strip in the hook contour is formed.
  • the median strip of the multiple eyelet is preferably bent out of the inside of the hook so that the inside of the hook is not restricted in the clear width.
  • roof hook is a further development of the known roof hook described, that is to say that it has all the functions and properties of the roof hook described and also serves other purposes.
  • the roof hook acts as a snow stop due to the two bent-out edge strips. If several roof hooks are arranged in a horizontal row, then a rod can be pushed through the multiple eyelets Snow guard rod acts or as a movable stop for a rope safety device.
  • the roof hook is used to securely fasten handrails of protective roof walls or roofing chairs, because the bent-out edge strips mean that a rod hooked into the hook with one eye cannot easily be released from the hook.
  • the eye of the hooked-in tie rod has a clear width in the upper part that is larger than the width of the hook in the apex area and smaller than the width of the multiple eyelet and has a clear width in the lower part that is larger than that Width of the multiple eyelet is.
  • the pull rod can be easily hooked in without swiveling to the side and is secured against unintentional loosening even if the hook should bend downwards under heavy loads.
  • the pull rod has at least one damping element in the form of an eye lying in the force path of the train, which is deformable by tensile forces.
  • the roof hook is made of a one-piece flat iron and consists of a straight cranked holding arm 1, the free, eaves-side end of which is bent to form a hook 2.
  • the upper part 1a of the holding arm 1 is fastened to a rafter 4 of a roof truss with two anchor rotating nails 3, only one of which is shown in the drawing.
  • the upper one has a square under the head and can be screwed in through the roof hook if the hole in the upper part is designed accordingly.
  • the lower anchor turning nail 3 must be screwed in with a wrench. Therefore, it must have an appropriate head and be cylindrical below the head. Instead of a lower anchor rotating nail, a nail can simply be hammered in.
  • This upper part 1a is under a roof tile, not shown in the drawing.
  • the lower part 1b of the roof hook lies on a roof tile 5.
  • the hook 2 In its area facing the roof covering, the hook 2 has an eyelet 6 lying on the ridge side of the hook apex, which is formed by a central incision running in the longitudinal direction of the hook 2 and by bending out a strip lying next to this incision toward the inside of the hook. This results in a lenticular shape in side view.
  • the hook 2 In its freely projecting section 8 facing away from the roof covering, the hook 2 has a further multiple eyelet 9, which is formed by a central strip 10 and two edge strips 11, 12.
  • the median strip 10 and the edge strips 11, 12 are defined by two in the longitudinal direction of the Hook 2 extending incisions and formed by bending out the strips 10-12 by the middle strip 10 out of the hook contour and the edge strips 11, 12 in the hook contour are bent outwards.
  • a safety rope with a snap hook can be hung.
  • rods 13 can also be inserted through the aligned eyelets 6, which then serve as a movable stop for snap hooks 14 of a rope safety device.
  • the rods 13 can also serve as snow guard rods.
  • snow guard rods 15 are preferably used, which are inserted through the aligned multiple eyelets 9.
  • section 8 in the area of the multiple eyelet 9 is considerably wider than in the rest of the area because of the laterally removed edge strips 11, 12, it can also perform the function of a snow stopper.
  • the roof hooks can also be used for protective wall brackets, which are hooked into the hook 2 via tie rods 16, 17.
  • the pull rod 17 is provided with a specially designed eye 17 a which has a clear width in the lower region which is greater than the width of the two edge strips 11, 12 and which has a clear width in the upper region which is smaller than the width of the edge strips but larger than the width of the hook 2 in the apex region.
  • the pull rod 17 can have an eye 18 which is at large tensile load deformed. This eye 18 then serves as damping.
