Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for guiding a revolving cover consisting of individual segments of a card or card according to the preamble of the independent claim.
  • a card in addition to the infeed, the breeze and the customer, a card essentially comprises a rotating drum with a tip assembly fastened thereon and a cover, at least partially guided around the circumference of the drum, as a rule a so-called revolving cover.
  • Such a lid is also provided with a lace set, so that the fiber flakes located between the tips of the drum and the lid are stretched, that is to say pulled apart to form a thin fiber web, in which the fibers are also parallelized with the aid of the tips mentioned, so that on At the end of the card, the so-called fiber fleece with essentially parallel fibers is created, which is ultimately combined into a card sliver.
  • the distance between the tips of the cover set and the tips of the drum set plays an essential role in order to obtain a good carding result, so it is obvious to understand that this distance must be kept as accurate as possible, such as big this is always.
  • the distance between these points mentioned is a few tenths of a millimeter, so that it is understandable that it is not entirely problem-free to guide the drum and in a machine with the size and weight of a card to design the lid so that on the one hand the smallest possible distance between the tips is possible and that on the other hand this distance can also be kept as precisely as possible to avoid that the tips occasionally touch each other.
  • the revolving cover segments are guided on both sides of the reel on a guide surface of the so-called reel plates (also called card walls), with sliding friction prevailing between the surfaces of the cover segments and the mentioned guide surface.
  • the support disks were provided with adjustable segments, so that the radius of the support surface of the support disks could be changed.
  • the task was therefore to guide the revolving cover in such a way that lubrication problems were eliminated and the guide could be designed in such a way that the spacing between the clothing tips could be adjusted precisely and relatively effortlessly.
  • FIG. 1 shows part of a card 1 with a reel 2, which by means of a shaft 3 in the stationary reel plate 4 (also called card wall) can be rotated and driven by means of roller bearings 5 (not shown).
  • a card set is marked with 6 on the reel.
  • a disc wheel 26 On a stub shaft 29 (also called a shaft extension), a disc wheel 26 is freely rotating.
  • the disk wheel 26 comprises a support disk 17 which is carried on a cone 16 of a clamping ring 14.
  • the clamping ring itself is slidably mounted on a support sleeve 10, which in turn is rotatably mounted on the shaft end 29 via two roller bearings 8 and 9 combined as play-free bearings.
  • a spacer ring 7 is provided between these two roller bearings.
  • this clamping ring 14 has a continuous slot 25 (see FIG. 2), and a clamping nut 15, which can be moved on a thread 48 against the foot of the support disk 17, so that the base of the support disk 17 on the cone 16 is shifted to the right, as viewed in the direction of FIG. 1, and the slotted clamping ring 14 is thereby clamped on the support sleeve 10.
  • the cone must not be self-locking.
  • the displacement of the clamping ring 14 on the support sleeve 10 can by means of in the direction away from the card plate 4 happen a stop screw 36 which is rotatable in a threaded bore 37 in the card plate 4.
  • a stop screw 36 which is rotatable in a threaded bore 37 in the card plate 4.
  • an opening 38 is provided in the support disk 17.
  • the support sleeve is pushed by hand until it stops on the stop screw 36.
  • the slide bearings 8 and 9 are pressed against the spacer ring 7 and thus clamped by means of a fastening nut 12 placed on a threaded stub 13 belonging to the shaft stub 29.
  • the support disk 17 also has a cone on its outer circumference, which corresponds to a conical surface 20 of a cover segment 27.
  • the clamping nut 15 is provided with two mutually parallel surfaces 28, so that by means of a suitable tool (For example, a wrench) the clamping nut 15 can be rotated against the foot 33 of the support plate 17.
  • a suitable tool for example, a wrench
  • a tool attached to the surfaces 28 of the clamping nut 15 can be provided with a torque indicator, so that the clamping nut 15 always has the same torque can be tightened to ensure a constant, predetermined position of the foot 33 on the cone 16.
  • the conical surface 20 of the cover segments 27 was chosen to be exaggeratedly strongly conical in a purely illustrative manner and that in practice this cone is a cone with a very small opening angle ⁇ , in such a way that when the support disk 17 is moved never more than the distance between the sets 6 and 24 and a shortening of the set 6 caused by grinding is compensated.
  • the opening angle ⁇ is formed by the imaginary continuation of the conical surface 20 and by a parallel to the drum shaft 3.
  • cover wheels 21 can be rotated in a stationary manner at both ends of the working area AB by means of cover shafts 70 and 71 mounted in stationary shaft bearings 72 and 73, and that the center cover wheels 21 are mounted in a displaceable shaft bearing 75 and driven cover shaft 74 are displaceable for tensioning the revolving cover.
  • the clamping means 76 required for each central cover wheel 21 each include a clamping screw 77 receiving the shaft bearing 75, which is rotatably mounted in a stationary screw bearing provided with a corresponding thread.
  • FIGS. 3 and 4 show a variant of the device of FIGS. 1 and 2 in that two coaxial disk wheels are provided per drum face, namely a disk wheel 26.1 and disk wheel 26.2.
  • the structure of these two disc wheels is the same as the structure of the disc wheel 26, which is why certain reference numerals are only provided with an additional number, for example a 1 for the parts of the disc wheel 26.1 and a 2 for the parts of the disc wheel 26.2.
  • the revolving lids 19.1 and 19.2 are shown in FIG. 3 for the sake of simplicity on the same level, whereas in reality they are arranged next to one another around the drum 2, as seen in FIG.
  • drum shield 4 is only indicated schematically.
  • the shaft stub 29.2 with the threaded stub 13.2, on which the disk wheel 26.2 is fastened in a freely rotating manner, is inserted and tightened in an internal thread 31 of the shaft stub 29.1 by means of a threaded bolt 32 belonging to the shaft stub 29.2, so that the shaft stub 29.2 is firmly connected to the shaft stub 29.1 .
  • a stop 30 is provided on the shaft end 29.2 as a stop for the spacer ring 7.2 of the disk wheel 26.2.
  • the shaft stub 29.2 effectively lies against the end face of the shaft stub 29.1 by means of this stop 30.
  • the guide surface 35.2 bears against a guide bend 39 (FIG. 3, arranged with a dash-dotted line in FIG. 4), which is arranged parallel to the card plate 4 and extends over the working area AB.2 (FIG. 4).
  • FIG. 5 shows a variant of the disc wheel 26 from FIG. 1 with a disk wheel 26.3, by displacing a variant of the clamping sleeve 14 from FIG.
  • the compression spring rests on the end directed against the spool shield against a stop 44, which is part of a support sleeve 43, which otherwise has the same function as the support sleeve 10 of FIG. 1, with the exception that the spacer nut mentioned is by means of a thread 47 is displaceable on the support sleeve 43.
  • the degree of displacement can be read from graduation marks which are provided in a groove 46 provided on the support sleeve 43.
  • the other functions correspond to the functions of the device shown in FIG. 1, which is why they are not described again.
  • FIG. 6 shows a further variant of the device of FIG. 5, in that instead of being displaceable by means of the spring 42, a spacer nut 52 corresponding to the spacer nut 45 of FIG. 5 is provided with a driver arm 53, to which a driver roller 54 is attached, which is practically free of play is guided in a guide groove 56 of the foot 57 of the support disk 17.3.
  • the foot of the support plate 17.3 is slidably mounted on the support sleeve 50.
  • the driving roller 54 is guided essentially free of play in the groove 56, it can additionally be mentioned that, in principle, the driving roller 54 in the result of the outward axial force that arises between the support disk 17.3 and the cone 20 Principle is only applied to a line of contact at the base of the support plate 17.3.
