Claims (8)
- Verfahren zur Behandlung von Abfällen auf Basis von Mineralien, die bei einer Temperatur von mehr als 1200 °C schmelzbar sind,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es darin besteht, die Abfälle nach und nach bis zu einer Körnung von weniger als 2 mm zu zerkleinern, ihnen einen Schmelzzuschlag zuzusetzen, so daß der eutektische Schmelzpunkt des Gemischs auf eine Temperatur von weniger als 1100 °C herabgesetzt wird, mittels eines Trägergases das Gemisch der zerkleinerten Abfälle und des Schmelzzuschlags in den unteren Teil eines Bades mit einer Temperatur von weniger als 1100 °C zu befördern, so daß das Bad mit Abfällen angereichert wird, ein Quantum des angereicherten Bades in einen Behälter fließen zu lassen und es sich dort verfestigen zu lassen. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Bad im wesentlichen die gleiche Zusammensetzung hat wie das Gemisch aus Abfällen und Schmelzzuschlag. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Transportdruck des Trägergases etwas höher ist als der Druck, der der Höhe der von dem Schmelzbad gebildeten Säule entspricht. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es darin besteht, nur einen Teil des Bades in den Behälter fließen zu lassen. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Bad bei einer Badtemperatur von 1000 bis 1100 °C eine Höhe von mindestens 30 cm über der Einströmhöhe der Abfälle hat. - Verfahren nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Masse des Bades das 2- bis 6-fache des Massedurchsatzes der Abfälle pro Stunde darstellt. - Verfahren nach einem der vorherigen Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es darin besteht, ein Trägergas über dem Bad einzuführen. - Ofen zur Behandlung von Abfällen für die Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß er aus einem Schmelztiegel (11) besteht, der mit einer Heizvorrichtung (12) versehen ist, wobei eine Abfälle-Speiseleitung (9) im unteren Teil des Schmelztiegels (11) mündet, eine Anzapfleitung (14) eines Bades in dem Schmelztiegel (11) in einer Höhe mündet, die über der der Mündung der Abfälle-Speiseleitung (9) liegt, wobei der obere Teil (13) des Ofens eine Kammer (15) bildet, die nach oben mit einer Leitung (16) für den gasförmigen Abgang in Verbindung steht, wobei eine Zufuhrröhre (20) für ein Spülgas in die Kammer (15) mündet.
