Description

  • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Verschluß mit den im Oberbegriff von Anspruch 1 genannten Merkmalen. Verschlüsse dieser Art werden aus Kunststoff, insbesondere Polypropylen gespritzt.
  • Bekannt und auf dem Markt erhältlich sind Verschlüsse nach Figur 3 der dieser Anmeldung beigefügten Zeichnung. Die Außenseite dieser Verschlüsse erweitert sich in Längsrichtung der Mündung vom oberen Ende her bis zu einer Umfangslinie maximaler Größe und verjüngt sich nach unten zu wieder.
  • Begriffe wie "oben", "unten" beziehen sich auf die Lage des Verschlusses in den Zeichnungen. Der Begriff "Längsrichtung der Mündung" ist hier eine lotrechte Achse, kann im allgemeineren Fall aber eine Gerade sein, die in Längsrichtung einer nicht kreiszylindrischen sondern anders geformten Mündung verläuft.
  • Befindet sich die Umfangslinie maximaler Größe, wie in Figur 3, etwa auf halber Höhe des Verschlusses und will man mit einer zweiteiligen Spritzform auskommen, also einer Form ohne seitliche Schieber, so blieb nach dem Stand der Technik nur übrig, den Deckel relativ hoch zu gestalten, wie es Figur 3 zeigt. Ein solcher Deckel ist für den Verbraucher hinderlich, weil zu voluminös. Er kann auch den Entnahmevorgang behindern.
  • Durch die vorliegende Erfindung soll daher ein Verschluß geschaffen werden, dessen Umfangslinie maximaler Größe ebenfalls weit unterhalb seines Oberendes liegt, bei dem aber der Deckel eine geringere Höhe hat. Der Verschluß soll überdies mit einer zweiteiligen Form herstellbar sein.
  • Nach Figur 3 fällt die Umfangslinie maximaler Größe in eine Ebene. Dies ist nicht zwingend notwendig. Diese Umfangslinie könnte auch in einer gekrümmten Fläche liegen. Die Querschnitte durch den Verschluß brauchen auch nicht kreisförmig zu sein, sondern können oval oder anders geformt sein.
  • Die oben genannte Aufgabe wird durch die Erfindung gemäß Anspruch 1 gelöst.
  • Hiernach erhält man einen Deckel, dessen Hauptteil eine sehr niedrige Bauhöhe hat, dadurch, daß der Deckel mit einem einseitigen Fortsatz ausgestattet ist, der in Geschlossenstellung nahezu an die Umfangslinie maximaler Größe heranreicht. Er reicht über die Länge des Schnappscharniers nicht ganz an die Umfangslinie heran, weil noch Platz für die wirksamen Elemente des Schnappscharniers vorhanden sein muß, die zwischen dem Unterteil und dem Fortsatz des Deckels angeordnet sind. Mit "wirksame Elemente des Schnappscharniers" werden hier die Elemente bezeichnet, die sich zwischen Unterteil des Verschlusses und Fortsatz des Deckels befinden.
  • Hierfür geeignete Schnappscharniere sind bekannt, z. B. aus der EP-B-0 056 469 oder der ihr etwa entsprechenden US-A-4 403 712, insbesondere aus den Figuren 15 bis 18 beider Patentschriften. Es können aber auch andersartige Schnappscharniere verwendet werden.
  • Dadurch, daß der Deckel mit einem Fortsatz ausgestattet ist, kann sein Hauptteil eine sehr geringe Bauhöhe erhalten. Ein solcher Deckel behindert den Benutzer weniger als ein Deckel großer Bauhöhe nach der beigefügten Figur 3. Ein Verschluß nach der Erfindung läßt sich mit einer zweiteiligen Spritzform herstellen.
  • Aus der deutschen Gebrauchsmusterschrift 1 995 401 - WOLF - ist bereits ein Schnappscharnierverschluß bekannt, bei dem die Höhe des Hauptteils des Deckels kleiner ist als die Höhendifferenz zwischen seiner Scharnierhauptachse und der Oberkante des Verschlußunterteils und der Deckel dementsprechend einen einseitigen Fortsatz hat. Bei diesem Verschluß befindet sich die Hauptachse des Schnappscharniers aber weit außerhalb des Deckelunterteils, wodurch sich einseitige Fortsätze des Verschlusses ergeben, die unschön aussehen und das Aufsetzen des Verschlusses mit Verschließmaschinen behindern oder unmöglich machen. Nach der vorliegenden Erfindung ergibt sich dagegen ein Verschluß, der in Geschlossenstellung einen symmetrischen Eindruck macht und bei dem in dieser Stellung keine Teile nach außen vorstehen.
    • Weiterbildungen der Erfindung
  • ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen.
  • Der Verschluß läßt sich so ausgestalten, daß der Fortsatz des Deckels in Geschlossenstellung in einer flachen Aussparung des Unterteils verschwindet. Somit ergibt sich ein gefälliges Aussehen des Verschlusses. Es stehen keine Teile nennenswert nach außen vor, so daß das Aufbringen des Verschlusses mit herkömmlichen Verschließmaschinen nicht behindert wird.
  • Durch Abschnitte des Deckelfortsatzes, die in Geschlossenstellung beiderseits der wirksamen Scharnierelemente vorhanden sind und bis an die Umfangslinie maximaler Größe heranreichen, läßt sich vermeiden, daß die Spritzform außerhalb der äußersten Scharnierelemente eine messerscharfe Kante haben müßte, was die Herstellung erschweren und die Lebensdauer der Form herabsetzen würde.
  • Ein Ausführungsbeispiel mit weiteren Merkmalen der Erfindung wird im folgenden anhand der Zeichnungen beschrieben.

  • Der bekannte Verschluß nach Figur 3 hat einen Unterteil 2 mit einem Innengewinde 4 zum Aufschrauben auf die Mündung einer Flasche oder eines Behälters. Er hat eine Austrittsöffnung 6 und eine Außenwand 8, die ausgebaucht ist. Vom Boden 10 des Unterteils her erweitert sich die Außenwand in ihrem oberen Abschnitt 8.1 bis gegen eine Ebene 12, die quer zur Längsachse 14 des Verschlusses verläuft. Der Unterteil erweitert sich dort sprungartig, und der untere Abschnitt 8.3 der Außenwand 8 verjüngt sich anschließend nach unten. Der Deckel 16 ist mit einem Scharnier 18 an der Sprungstelle des Unterteils, nämlich in der Ebene 12 angelenkt. Der Deckel hat eine etwas größere Bauhöhe als der obere Abschnitt 8.1.
  • Diese Bauhöhe des Deckels ist nach dem Stand der Technik erforderlich, wenn der Verschluß mit einer zweiteiligen Spritzform herstellbar sein soll.
  • Der Verschluß nach der Erfindung (Figuren 1, 2 und 4 bis 7) hat einen Unterteil 20, der sich auf eine Mündung aufprellen läßt und mit Rastnocken 22 (Figur 1) unterhalb eines Außenwulstes der Mündung festgehalten wird.
  • Der Unterteil hat eine Außenwand 24, die sich von oben nach unten bis zur Umfanglinie 29 maximaler Größe erweitert und dann wieder verjüngt, aber über den größten Teil ihres Umfangs keine Sprungstelle hat. Die Umfangslinie 29 maximaler Größe fällt in eine in den Figuren 1 und 5 strichpunktiert eingezeichnete Ebene 30. Der Deckel 26 hat einen Hauptteil 26.1 geringer Bauhöhe und einen Fortsatz 26.3, der die Verbindung vom Hauptteil zu einem Schnappscharnier 28 bildet. Das Schnappscharnier kann vorzugsweise nach den Figuren 15 bis 18 der oben genannten Patentschriften ausgebildet sein und in der Mitte ein Filmscharnier 28.2 und beiderseits davon je ein Zwischenelement 28.4 aufweisen. Die Zwischenelemente können wenig oder kaum dehnfähig sein, so daß beim Schnappvorgang andere Teile des Verschlusses, insbesondere der Fortsatz 26.3 elastisch verformt werden. Die Zwischenelemente 28.4 und das Filmscharnier 28.2 werden hier gemeinsam als die wirksamen Elemente des Schnappscharniers bezeichnet.
  • In der Außenwand 24 des Unterteils ist eine Aussparung 24.2 (Figur 7) vorgesehen, die dazu dient, den Fortsatz 26.3 des Deckels in Geschlossenstellung aufzunehmen. Der Fortsatz 26.3 des Deckels hat außerhalb der Zwischenelemente 28.4 des Scharniers je einen vorspringenden Abschnitt 26.6, der sich in Geschlossenstellung an einen Vorsprung 24.6 innerhalb der Aussparung 24.2 legt.

Claims (3)

  1. Verschluß aus Kunststoff, insbesondere Polypropylen, für Mündungen von Behältern, insbesondere Flaschen, der in folgender Weise ausgebildet ist:
    a) die Außenwand (8) des Verschlusses erweitert sich in Längsrichtung der Mündung vom oberen, in Gebrauchslage äußeren Ende des Verschlusses her bis zu einer Umfangslinie (29) maximaler Größe und verjüngt sich gegen das untere, dem Behälter zugekehrte Ende des Verschlusses,
    b) Unterteil (2) und Deckel (26) des Verschlusses sind durch ein in ihren Außenwandungen angeordnetes Schnappscharnier (28) miteinander verbunden und mit diesem einstückig ausgebildet,
    gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
    c) die Höhe des Hauptteils (26.1) des Deckels (26) ist wesentlich kleiner als die Höhendifferenz des Verschlusses zwischen seiner Umfangslinie (29) maximaler Größe und seinem oberen Ende,
    d) der Deckel hat einen einseitigen Fortsatz (26.3), der nahezu an die Umfangslinie (29) maximaler Größe heranreicht,
    e) die wirksamen Elemente des Schnappscharniers (28) sind symmetrisch zu dieser Umfangslinie angeordnet und einerseits mit dem Unterteil (20), andererseits mit dem Fortsatz (26.3) des Deckels verbunden.
  2. Verschluß nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Unterteil außen eine flache Aussparung (24.2) hat, die in Geschlossenstellung zur Aufnahme des Fortsatzes (26.3) des Deckels und der wirksamen Elemente des Schnappscharniers (28) dient.
  3. Verschluß nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Fortsatz (26.3) des Deckels Abschnitte (26.6) hat, die in Geschlossenstellung innerhalb der Aussparung (24.2) beiderseits der wirksamen Elemente des Schnappscharniers (28) bis an die Umfangslinie (29) maximaler Größe heranreichen.
