Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a lighting device with busbars for operation at low voltages.
  • Track lighting devices are known per se. If such devices are operated at the usual mains voltages of 220 V or 110 V, all regulations and precautionary measures for handling dangerous voltages must be observed and followed for their installation and operation. As a rule, this results in rigid conductor rails with concealed and protected guidance of the conductor and special shape of the rails and the pantographs connected to the lighting fixtures.
  • low-voltage lighting devices for voltages in the range of about 6 to 24 volts
  • busbars consist of wire pairs freely crossing the space to be illuminated.
  • This solution is inexpensive and can be perceived as attractive in terms of interior design; on the other hand, it has a style-binding effect and severely narrows the variety of lighting and design options.
  • the object of the present invention is to create a lighting device which is delimited by the preamble and which is suitable for self-assembly and can be produced inexpensively and, moreover, can meet the interior design and lighting requirements to the greatest possible extent.
  • a busbar 1 consisting of an insulating support 2 and two conductor tracks 3, carries a lamp base 4 with a stem 5 shown broken off for the lighting fixture.
  • An adhesive film 6 is attached to the sole of the carrier 2, by means of which the busbar 1 can either be attached directly to parts of the building, such as ceilings, walls, beams, or else on special mounting rails.
  • 2 to 8 show special embodiments of the busbar 1 in cross section.
  • 2 shows a carrier 2, for example made of an elastomer.
  • the cross section of this support 2 has four grooves 7, in which two steel strips 8 can be inserted.
  • the carrier 2 according to FIG. 2 has, for example, a rectangular elevation 9.
  • the steel strips 8 are bare at least on their upper side. They serve on the one hand to conduct electricity, and on the other hand as an anchor for one or more permanent magnets 21, 24 according to FIGS. 9, 10, 11.
  • the sole of the carrier 2 is provided with the adhesive film 6.
  • the elevation 9 prevents metal parts, e.g. the holding magnets 21, 24 can be placed across the two steel strips 8 and thus cause a short circuit. Furthermore, it serves to guide or precisely position the lamp base 4.
  • the steel strips 8 are glued to the carrier 2. This eliminates the grooves 7.
  • the carrier 2 has an edge protection 12 on each side.
  • FIG. 4 shows a variant of the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3.
  • the steel strips 8 extend to the edge of the carrier 2. This exemplary embodiment is also based on the more basic illustration of FIG. 1.
  • the carrier 2 is omitted and only the elevation 9 is made of, for example, an elastomeric plastic.
  • the two steel strips 8 and the elevation 9 plastic strips are glued directly onto the adhesive film 6. This results in a particularly flat design.
  • FIG. 6 has a carrier 2 with a recess 13 (instead of the elevation 9).
  • the corresponding lamp base 4 is shown in FIG. 12 and described separately.
  • a variant of the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 2 to 6, which is not recorded in the drawing, consists in using a flat, fine-wire steel mesh instead of a steel strip 8. Instead of an adhesive connection with the carrier 2, this steel mesh is extruded, for example, together with the band-shaped carrier 2.
  • the steel strips 8 are coated on their surfaces in an insulating manner over the width of a region 18, and are bare or electroplated, for example nickel-plated, over the rest of their width.
  • An insulating plastic band 19, for example with elastomeric properties, is used as the carrier for the steel strips 8, which, like all previous exemplary embodiments, is provided with an adhesive film 6 on its sole.
  • Fig. 8 shows a variant of Fig. 7.
  • the insulating plastic tape 19 is omitted; the steel strips 8 are glued directly to the adhesive film 6, but otherwise have the same design as in the previous exemplary embodiment.
  • the busbars according to the invention according to FIGS. 2 to 7 are all designed so flat that they can be rolled up comfortably in the unmounted state. It is thus possible for the consumer to have the required length cut off the roll and to simply attach it to the intended part of the building by means of the adhesive film 6. Because of the flat design, it is easily possible to glue the busbar according to the invention also over projections or beams. Then the power supply connected to a transformer and the provided lamps are placed on the lamp bases according to the invention and the entire device is ready for operation.
  • FIG. 9 shows an exemplary embodiment of a lamp base 4; in Fig. 9a a side view without cladding, seen in the direction of the axis of the busbar, in Fig. 9b seen from below.
  • the lamp base consists of an insulating base plate 20, to which two electrically conductive permanent magnets 21 are mechanically connected, for example by means of two rivets 22.
  • a thin plate 25 made of an elastomer is inserted between the base plate 20 and the magnets 21, with inaccuracies in the permanent magnets 21 , Unevenness of the steel strips 8 and any distortion of the base plate 20 can be absorbed.
  • the upper heads of the rivets 22 are also designed as cable lugs, in each of which a wire 23 is clamped or soldered.
  • the handle 5 Connected to the base plate 20, for example by a screw connection or by welding, is the handle 5 already described in FIG. 1, in which the wires 23 run.
  • the lamp base 4 described is placed on the busbar already known from FIG. 4 and now adheres to the steel strips 8 with magnetic force.
  • the permanent magnets 21 simultaneously establish electrical contact with the current-carrying steel strips 8.
  • the magnetic force which is developed by the permanent magnets 21 on the steel strips 8 is - by suitable selection of the permanent magnets - so great that the weight of the lamp, which is attached to the lamp base, is borne in any position.
  • the current is fed into the busbar by a device which is identical to the lamp base according to FIG. 9.
  • the handle 5 does not of course have to be perpendicular to the plane of the base plate 20, but can - in a suitable configuration of the base plate 20 - be guided in any suitable direction. This means that the base of the electricity supply is identical and described in terms of structure.
  • the lamp base 4 is clad according to FIG. 9, but since the technical effect of the cladding has essentially no weight than the aesthetic one, it will not be discussed further here.
  • the lamp base 4 according to FIG. 9 technically matches the busbar embodiments of FIGS. 2 to 5.
  • the embodiment of FIG. 10, a variant of that of FIG. 9, has a plastic block 10 connected to the base plate 20 , which fits into the recess 13 of the busbar 1 according to FIG. 6 and thus also, like the elevation 9, forces the lamp base to be put on exactly.
  • the base plate 20 carries a single permanent magnet 24 with a single elastomeric plate 25.
  • the permanent magnet 24 does not need to be electrically conductive, since it is only for the adhesion of the lamp base 4 to the beam bands 8 of Fig. 7, 8 has to worry.
  • FIG. 11a shows the lamp base 4 in a top view in the direction of the busbar
  • FIG. 11b shows it from the side, the permanent magnet 24 being shown only in dotted lines
  • 11c shows the lamp base 4 from below, that is to say from the busbar.
  • the permanent magnet 24 which in turn is fastened to the base plate 20, for example with rivets 22, the latter bears two contact springs 26. These are fastened to the base plate 20 with rivets 27 in such a way that the rivets 27 lie diagonally opposite one another. The magnetic connection is thus evenly stressed by the contact forces of the contact springs 26.
  • the attachment of the wires 23 to the rivets 27 is the same as described for FIG. 12.
  • the stem 5 is shifted to the edge of the base plate 20 here.
  • FIGS. 9, 10, 11 are made of metal.
  • the necessary insulation of the permanent magnets 21 and / or contact springs 26 is effected by grommets made of insulating material through which the rivets 22 and 27 are guided.
