Definitions
- the present invention relates to a transport pallet with which, for example, construction parts of motor vehicles can be transported from the manufacturer of the construction parts to the assembly location thereof.
- the invention has for its object to provide a pallet that allows transport of the parts to be transported with it from the place of manufacture of the parts to the place of installation, without the need to reload the parts and with a precisely defined position of the parts
- the pallet ensures both safe and damage-free transport of the parts and space-saving return transport of the empty pallet.
- this object is achieved by a transport pallet consisting of a basic pallet with a shelf and a lid which can be positively inserted therein, the shelf and the lid having receptacles on their mutually facing sides for the form-fitting holding of objects to be transported which are arranged between them the individual pallet parts are formed as deep-drawn plastic parts.
- a shelf and the lid gives the possibility that the parts to be transported can be placed on the shelf during their manufacture after the completion of the manufacturing process, in the position such as later, for example, by removal a robot or the like is to take place at the assembly site, ie the form-fitting arrangement of the parts on the shelf allows a very specific alignment to be carried out with respect to subsequent processing.
- the shelves can be placed on assembly belts independently of the basic pallet so that they can then be used for further transport in the basic pallet, with the parts already on them to be transported.
- the cover which is provided according to the invention, covers the parts to be transported from above and, if appropriate, also in the side area, thereby protecting against damage and at the same time providing additional position fixation.
- a self-contained transport unit is thus created by the pallet.
- the lid is removed and the parts are removed from the basic pallet together with the shelf and can in turn be placed on an assembly line.
- the empty pallet can then be transported back with or without a shelf, whereby the space requirement is significantly reduced since the individual pallet parts can be stacked independently of one another.
- feet are formed on the underside of the base pallet and receptacles for positively holding the feet on the top of the lid. This allows several fiction moderate transport pallets are arranged one above the other, whereby a secure position fixing of the pallets against each other is achieved. Furthermore, it can be advantageous according to the invention if at least one intermediate floor is arranged between the shelf and the cover, this intermediate floor having receptacles formed on both sides for the positive holding of the objects to be transported. This intermediate floor allows a multi-layer arrangement of the parts to be transported.
- a transport pallet consists of a basic pallet 1, an insert box 2, which can be placed on the base pallet in the exemplary embodiment and is positively fixed in this, and a lid 3, objects 8 to be transported with the transport pallet being stored and held between the shelf 2 and the lid 3.
- the base pallet 1, the shelf 2 and the lid 3 are designed according to the invention as plastic deep-drawn molded parts, which results in inexpensive manufacture and low weight.
- the base pallet 1 consists of an essentially flat bottom 4, in which feet 5 are formed. These feet 5 are made as a truncated pyramid-shaped hollow body and open towards the bottom 4. It is also within the scope of the invention to give the bottom 4 a negative contour in such a way that it corresponds to the outer shape of the shelf 2.
- the basic pallet has an edge web 6 molded onto the circumference of the base 4, the base in the area adjacent to the edge web 6 having a peripheral support edge 16 owns.
- the edge web 6 preferably forms an obtuse angle with the horizontal support edge 16, so that the opening enclosed by the edge web 6 widens upwards.
- the shelf 2 is designed such that it rests on the support edge 16 in the inserted state with a peripheral, in particular horizontal, support area 17 formed on its underside.
- the shelf 2 has a side wall section 18 which is shaped such that it is positively embraced by the edge web 6 in the inserted state, so that the shelf 2 is fixed on the base pallet 1.
- the side wall section 18 forms a step-shaped transition with the support area 17, the side wall section 18 including an obtuse angle with the support area 17, which is adapted to the obtuse angle between the edge web 6 and the support edge 16.
- the dimensions of the cover 3 of the base pallet 1 are adapted accordingly and on its upper side there are receptacles 7 for the feet 5 of the base pallet 1, so that the feet 5 in the receptacles 7 are secured against slipping, preferably by a positive engagement.
- the base pallet of a further transport pallet according to the invention can be placed on the lid 3, so that a stack can be formed from a plurality of transport pallets according to the invention.
- the entire transport pallet according to the invention can additionally be stabilized by lashing a lashing strap around the pallet, ie around the base pallet 1 and the lid 3.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 show a special configuration adapted to the shape of the object 8 to be transported.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 show how the object 8 to be transported itself is drawn into the carrying function of the transport pallet by the cover 3 and an intermediate floor 2 resting on the object 8.
- the sides 10, 11 of the cover 3 and the shelf 2 facing the object 8 as well as the upper side 12 and the lower side 13 of the intermediate base 9 are shaped such that in each case receptacles 14 for the form-fitting storage of the object 8 on certain Jobs are available.
- the receptacles 14, in particular on the shelf and on the intermediate floor are such that the objects stored therein are held independently from above without lateral support or fixation, so that the shelf or the intermediate floor with objects located on them can be transported independently, for example on conveyor belts. It is useful if the intermediate floor 9 and the shelf 2 are identical. Furthermore, it can be seen that the base pallet 1 with its feet 5 can be inserted in a form-fitting manner in the receptacles 7 on the top side 15 of the lid, so that stackability is achieved.
- the shelf 2 is designed on its underside facing the base pallet 1 with projections 20 for receiving the objects to be transported such that these projections 20 protrude into the cavities of the hollow feet 5, and in particular are positively embraced by the foot walls .
- the design of the base pallet 1 and the shelf 2 is concerned, this is advantageously such that, regardless of the design of the shelf 2 depending on the shape of the objects 8 to be transported, the base pallet 1 is unchanged, so that any shelves 2 in the base pallet 1 fit.
- the invention results in the possibility of stacking the base pallet 1 into one another and above one another for return transport, as a result of which the required space is reduced.
- the objects to be transported are held in a form-fitting manner in the shelf 2, or in the intermediate floor and / or the lid. According to the invention, however, it can also be held by force-locking alone or in addition.
- the shelf 2 the intermediate shelf 9 and the lid 3 are formed on their sides facing each other and have corresponding projections so that they can be braced against one another, in which case bracing on the object 8 itself is not necessary is. I.e. In the intermediate floors or shelves, so-called nests are created to accommodate the objects to be transported.
- the plastic material used for the transport pallet according to the invention is a thermoplastic material which is suitable for deep drawing.

Abstract
