Definitions

  • the invention relates to a strap buckle for closing ski boots, with a base plate firmly connected to the ski boot, on which a cross-sectionally U-shaped buckle lever is pivotally mounted with its axis, which is pivotable between an open and a closed position and with a cylinder is connected, the axis of which runs parallel to the lever axis and a screw or a threaded sleeve, which is connected to an element closing the ski boot, is mounted in its threaded transverse bore, the cylinder being in the longitudinal direction of the buckle lever in at least two relative positions is adjustable, wherein in the two legs of the buckle lever two slots extending in its longitudinal direction are recessed, in which the ends of the axis of the cylinder are guided, and wherein the ends of the axis projecting outward through the slots in the legs are also U in cross section -shaped flap are stored.
  • Such a buckle is already known and described in DE-U-1910435.
  • This buckle had the disadvantage that a plate was riveted to the other side of the shoe upper opposite the buckle, to which a loop with an outer web and at least one intermediate web was articulated. The hook-shaped end of the tensioning lever could be inserted into this loop.
  • This strap buckle is not suitable for tensioning a rope, as is often used for ski boots today, since the elements for the coarse and for the fine adjustment are on two different parts found.
  • EP-A1 0300 955 describes a strap buckle for rope closures
  • this embodiment is very complicated in its construction due to the large number of individual parts and therefore costly to produce. Also be two rope ends tensioned at the same time, which doubles the effort required by the skier.
  • the tensioning lever according to CH-PS 410 681 is similar to that mentioned in the first place.
  • One part consists of a plate with several hooks, which are used for the rough adjustment, whereas a tension lever is articulated on the other opposite part, which receives the elements of the fine adjustment.
  • This embodiment also has the disadvantage that the elements for fine adjustment and for coarse adjustment are located on two opposite parts, which precludes the use of a tension cable.
  • the object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the known designs and to provide a strap buckle which is simple in its construction and in which the elements for the coarse and fine adjustment are located on one component.
  • this object is achieved in that the flap can be locked in at least two positions in which it rests on the buckle lever, and that the screw or the threaded sleeve is directly fixed to one the rope closing the ski boot is connected. Characterized in that the fastening point of the rope is inside the buckle lever, this point is largely protected against damage or contamination.
  • the invention therefore provides according to claim 2 that the Flap is held in each locked position by at least one locking lug arranged on the top of the buckle lever at least in the direction of the pull of the rope.
  • claim 3 relates to a second embodiment of the invention, which in its first part also starts from a strap buckle according to DE-U-1 910 435, namely from a strap buckle for closing ski boots, with one firmly connected to the ski boot Base plate on which a cross-sectionally U-shaped buckle lever is pivotally mounted with its axis, which is pivotable between an open and a closed position and which is connected to a cylinder, the axis of which runs parallel to the lever axis and in its threaded cross bore a screw or a threaded sleeve, which is connected to an element closing the ski boot, is mounted, the cylinder being adjustable in two relative positions in the longitudinal direction of the buckle lever.
  • This embodiment is characterized in that two articulated brackets are mounted on stub axles on the inner sides of the legs of the buckle lever, and that the screw or the threaded sleeve is directly and firmly connected to a rope closing the ski boot.
  • This construction allows a rough adjustment of the effective rope length only in two layers, but it has the advantage over the first embodiment that the top of the buckle lever is continuously smooth and that the skier cannot be injured by protruding parts in the event of a fall.
  • the essential parts are housed in the U-shaped buckle lever and therefore protected against snow and dirt.
  • Fig. 1 is a side view of the first embodiment in the closed Position in the outer position of the rope end and Fig. 2 is an associated plan view.
  • Fig. 3 shows a section along the line III - III in Fig. 2 and
  • Fig. 4 shows a section along the line IV - IV in Fig. 2.
  • Fig. 5 is a side view of the bow buckle with the buckle lever open.
  • Fig. 6 is a vertical longitudinal central section through a second embodiment in the inner position and in the closed position and Fig. 7 is the same section with the buckle lever open during the adjustment process in the outer position of the rope end.
  • a buckle lever 5 is pivotally mounted on an axis formed by two transverse semiaxes 4, which also has a U-shaped cross section.
  • the web 5a of the buckle lever 5 has a longitudinal slot 5c which is open in the region of the semiaxes 4.
  • Elongated holes 5d are left in the two legs 5b of the buckle lever 5 and run in the longitudinal direction of the buckle lever 5.
  • the axis 6 of a cylinder 7 is guided in these elongated holes 5d.
  • a screw 8 is screwed with a knurled head 8a, which is fixedly connected to a rope 9.
  • the axis 6 of the cylinder 7 is extended beyond the two legs 5b of the buckle lever 5 and engages in the legs 10a of a flap 10 which is U-shaped in cross section.
  • the web 10b of the flap 10 is provided with two recesses 10c, which are intended for locking the flap 10 in one of two or more layers.
  • the web 5a of the buckle lever 5 carries on both sides of the vertical plane of longitudinal symmetry formed as detents 5e, against which one end of the web 10b of the flap 10 or one edge of the two recesses 10c abuts. In the closed position, the web 10b of the flap 10 rests on the web 5a of the buckle lever 5 and is held in place by the tensioned cable 9 (see FIGS. 1 and 3).
  • the buckle lever 5 is pivoted counterclockwise from the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 around the semiaxes 4 upwards.
  • the rope 9 is relaxed somewhat.
  • the flap 10 is first pivoted counterclockwise for the rough adjustment, whereby the axis 6 is released (see FIG. 5).
  • a displacement of the axis 6 of the cylinder 7 in the elongated holes 5d of the buckle lever 5 is now possible.
  • the flap 10 can be adjusted from the position shown with full lines in the dash-dotted position 10 '.
  • the flap 10 is then pivoted back in a clockwise direction. Two of the four forms 5e of the buckle lever 5 engage in the two recesses 10c of the flap 10, and the rough adjustment of the cable 9 is ended.
  • the screw 8 which has a knurled head 8a, is turned by hand until the desired effective length of the rope 9 is reached.
  • the buckle lever 5 is then turned clockwise into the position 1 or 3 pivoted.
  • the second embodiment of a strap buckle shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 is similar to the embodiment described first. It also has a cross-sectionally U-shaped base plate 1 ', the web 1'a of which is firmly connected to the shell of a ski boot, not shown, by rivets.
  • the two legs 1'b of the base plate 1 ' are on transverse semiaxes 4', the two legs 5'b of a buckle lever 5 'with a U-shaped cross section.
  • the web 5'a of the buckle lever 5 ' has a longitudinal slot 5'c, the semiaxis 4' adjacent end is open. This end is an oblique bore 1'c in the web 1'a of the base plate 1 'assigned, which may continue into a hole in the shell.
  • the axis 6 'of the cylinder 7' is not directly supported in the two legs 5'b of the buckle lever 5 '. Rather, there are two hinge straps 20 on the inside of the legs 5'b by means of stub axles 21 pivotally mounted, which carry the axis 6 'of the cylinder 7' at their free ends.
  • This cylinder 7 ' is, as is the case with the first embodiment, provided with a transverse to the axis 6' or the cylinder 7 'threaded bore 7'a, into which a screw 8' is screwed, which with a rope 9th 'Is firmly connected.
  • the buckle lever 5 ' is pivoted clockwise around the semiaxes 4' until it rests with its legs 5'b on the web 1'a of the base plate 1 '.
  • the buckle lever 5 ' is secured against unintentional opening.
  • the knurled head 8'a of the screw 8 ' is covered to the outside, so that there can be no unintentional rotation of the screw 8'.
