B. ein Ritzel, aufweist, wobei weiterhin das Gehäuse des Betätigungsgetriebes vor der offenen Seite des Führungskanals am Metall- oder Kunststoffprofil abgestützt sowie beispielsweise durch Verschraubungen, an diesem befestigbar ist, wobei ferner der Bedienungshandgriff mit einem Mehrkantdorn, beispielsweise einem Vierkant- oder Sechskantdorn, von der raumseitigen Stirnfläche des Flügelrahmens aus durch ein Loch im Metall- oder Kunststoffprofil in eine entsprechend profilierte Mitnehmeraussparung des Antriebsgliedes formschlüssig eingerückt sowie mit diesem mittels Verschraubung in Eingriff gehalten ist.The invention relates to a window, a door or the like. während sie in dessen anderer Drehstellung, über die Seitenflächen dieses Gehäuseabschnitts vorstehend, in den Hinterschneidungsbereich des Führungskanals am Metall- oder Kunststoffprofil des Flügelrahmens eingeschwenkt ist.

Claims (7)

  1. A window, door or the like, in which at least the frame (1) for the movable member is made up of metal or plastic profiles which, at their rebate surface (4), have a profiled guide channel (5) to accommodate a positioning bar (9) for longitudinal displacement, said guide channel (5) being open on one side but undercut in the direction of the cross-section on both sides, the positioning bar (9) in the guide channel (5) being adapted to be coupled, from the open side of the guide channel, to an actuating mechanism (10) comprising a drive element (14) (e.g. a pinion) mounted in a housing (13) and rotatable by means of an operating handle, the housing (13) of the actuating mechanism (10) bearing against the metal or plastic profile in front of the open side of the guide channel (5) and being adapted to be fixed thereto, for example by screw means, the operating handle being positively engaged in a correspondingly profiled driver recess or the like in the drive element (14), by means of a polygonal (e.g. square or hexagonal) pin (35), from that end face of the movable-member frame (5) which is adjacent the room, through a hole (25) in the metal or plastic profile, and being kept in such engagement by screw means, at least the metal or plastic profile of the movable-member frame (1) being formed with an aperture (22) in the zone where the actuating mechanism (10) is fitted, such aperture (22) extending through the base (8) of the guide channel (5) in the metal or plastic profile, that portion (15) of the housing of the actuating mechanism (10) which accommodates the drive element (14) extending through the aperture (22) in the base (8) of the guide channel (5), while only one , portion (16) of the housing of the actuating mechanism (10) which longitudinally movably accommodates or guides the ends (17a, 17b) of a coupling slide (17) permanently in engagement with the drive element (14) bears against the metal or plastic profile in front of the open side of the guide channel (5),
       characterised in that at least one locating knob (24) having its axis parallel to the main plane of the drive element (pinion 14) is mounted in a trough (26) in that portion (16) of the housing which accommodates the ends (17a, 17b) of the coupling slide (17),
       in that the locating knob (24) has, on the one hand, a tool engagement means (27) accessible through the end wall of the housing portion (16) and, on the other hand, at least one nose or tongue (30a, 30b), the top of which is at a distance from the rear longitudinal edges of the housing portion (16),
       and in that the nose or tongue (30a, 30b) is accommodated in a flush position by a recess (31a, 31b) in the housing portion (15) accommodating the drive element (pinion 14), when the locating knob (24) is in one rotary position, while in the other rotary position thereof, projecting beyond the side surfaces of said housing portion (15), it is pivoted into the undercut zone (6) of the guide channel (5) on the metal or plastic profile of the movable-member frame (1).
  2. A window, door or the like according to claim 1, characterised in that the axis of rotation of the locating knob (24) lies on the central longitudinal , plane in the housing (13) of the actuating mechanism (10) and has, at diametrically opposite peripheral zones, two arms (29a, 29b) which project in axis-parallel relationship from its rear, the free end of each such arm being provided with a nose or tongue (30a, 30b) extending substantially tangentially to the locating knob periphery.
  3. A window, door or the like according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the locating knob (24) comprises a disc (25) having a circular boundary and held, for example in a trough (26), inside that portion (16) of the housing which accommodates the ends (17a, 17b) of the coupling slide (17), between the end wall of said housing portion (16) and the toothed portion (17c) of the coupling slide, the arms (29a, 29b) of the locating knob (24) which carry the noses or tongues (30a, 30b) being taken laterally past the longitudinal edges of the coupling slide (17) and as far as the zone of the recesses (31a, 31b) (Fig. 3).
  4. A window, door or the like according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the housing portion (16) containing the coupling slide (17) has laterally projecting flanges (33a, 33b) in which screwthreads (34a, 34b) are provided, which extend at least approximately transversely of the plane of rotation of the locating knob (24), clamping screws (32a, 32b) being fitted in said screwthreads and being adapted to be clamped against the outer end faces of the undercut profiled guide channel (5, 6) (Fig. 3).
  5. A window, door or the like according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the free ends of the noses or tongues (30a, 30b), in their operative position, are situated approximately opposite the clamping screws (32a, 32b) inside the undercut profiled guide channel (5, 6) (Fig. 2).
  6. A window, door or the like according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the angular range of rotation of the locating knob (24) is limited to about 45°.
  7. A window, door or the like according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that guide holes (36a, 36b) for fixing screws are formed on both sides of the drive element (pinion 14) and in axis-parallel relationship thereto in that portion (15) of the housing of the actuating mechanism (10) which contains the drive element (pinion 14), the operating handle bearing plate being adapted to be fixed to the metal or plastic profile of the movable-member frame (1) by way of said screws,
       and in that said guide holes (36a, 36b) are closely adapted to the nominal dimension of the fixing screws.
