- A locking gear (10) with a gear housing (12), which can be screwed to a profiled frame (24) of a profiled wing of a window or the like, and with a slide (14), which in the mounted state can be displaced along the profiled frame (24), wherein the profiled frame (24) is provided with a receiving opening (38) for receiving the gear housing (12) and with a milled-out place for fastening an actuation handle and passage of the rotating shaft, wherein the slide (14) is provided with a snap-in arrangement (44), by means of which it can be fastened to a profiled groove (56) of the profiled frame (24), and wherein the snap-in arrangement (44) is substantially U-shaped and can enter into profiled groove (56) of the profiled frame (24) with its free ends (54).
- The locking gear in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the gear housing (12) is provided with at lest one protrusion (30), wherein the protrusion can be pushed into the milled-out place in the course of the insertion of the gear housing (12) into the receiving opening (38).
- The locking gear in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the milled-out place is constituted by two passages and a plug-through opening (26).
- The locking gear in accordance with claim 2 and 3, characterized in that the gear housing (12) has two protrusions (30) which, with the gear (10) inserted, are located in the two outer passages.
- The locking gear in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the free ends (54) are provided with snap-in hooks, which project toward the outside and snap into the snap-in groove (56).
- The locking gear in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the snap-in arrangement (44) can be released with or without a tool.
- The locking gear in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, for taking the locking gear (10) out, the snap-in arrangement (44) can be rotated and/or pivoted back.
- The locking gear in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the gear housing (12) is floatingly seated in the slide (14).
- The locking gear in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the slide (14) is made of plastic.
- The locking gear in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a perforated plate made of metal, in particular steel, is seated in the slide (14) and is engaged by a gear wheel (16) provided in the gear housing (12).
- A profiled frame with a locking gear having the characteristics of one of the preceding claims.
