Im montierten Zustand stützt sich die Deckplatte des Beschlags an der Vorderseite des Schiebeflügels ab. Die Zugänglichkeit zur Rückseite des Beschlags ist dadurch gegeben, dass der Schiebeflügel üblicherweise eine durchgehende Öffnung aufweist, das heißt sie reicht von der Vorderseite des Schiebeflügels bis zur Rückseite, sodass durch den auf der Rückseite liegenden Bereich der Öffnung die Rückseite des Beschlags erreicht wird. Das Hintergriffelement ist ein Schieberiegel. Dieser wird von der Rückseite des Beschlags bedient und kann dadurch in die Sperrstellung oder Entsperrstellung verbracht werden. Der entsprechende Randbereich der Öffnung 34 liegt demzufolge in der Aufnahmetasche 33 ein, sodass der Beschlag 1 von der Rückseite 4 her festgelegt ist und von der Vorderseite 5 nicht mehr demontiert werden kann.
