- A latch element (10) for the installation into a strike plate of a door for a limited release of a latch bolt of a door lock mechanism, comprising:- an installation assembly (12) for installing the latch element (10) at a strike plate of a door; and- a counter latch (20) which is pivotably supported by the installation assembly (12), between a blocked position and a limited release position, about an axis oriented in parallel with the pivot axis of the door, and indeed by a predefined maximum angle, with the counter latch (20) having a contact surface (22) which is configured to come into contact with a latch bolt of the door in the blocked position in the installed state of the latch element (10) in order to hold the door in its closed position;wherein the maximum angle is predefined such that the contact surface (22) of the counter latch (20) in the limited release position is pivoted so far with respect to the blocked position that the contact surface (22) is suitable for also coming into contact with the latch bolt in the limited release position in the installed state of the latch element (10); and
wherein the installation assembly (12) comprises a base plate (14) which is configured for attachment to a strike plate of a door and which has a front side (26) and a rear side (24), wherein, both in the blocked position and in the limited release position, the counter latch (20) does not extend beyond the rear side of the base plate (14),
characterized in that
the installation assembly (12) comprises a support clamp (16) which can be attached to a front side (26) of the base plate (14) and which forms a respective flange (18) at two oppositely disposed ends, said flange (18) projecting from the front side (26) of the base plate (14) in the state attached to the base plate, with the counter latch (20) extending between the two flanges (18) and being pivotably supported by them between the blocked position and the release position. - A latch element in accordance with claim 1,
characterized in that
the predefined maximum angle lies between 10 and 30°, preferably between 11 and 25°, and particularly preferably between 12 and 18°, and with in particular the maximum angle amounting to approximately 15°. - A latch element in accordance with claim 1,
characterized in that
the base plate (14) has a recess (28) for receiving a rear section of the counter latch (20). - A latch element in accordance with claim 1 or claim 3,
characterized in that
the pivot axis of the counter latch (20) is located in front of the rear side (24) of the base plate. - A latch element in accordance with at least one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that
the counter latch (20) has a rounded edge (70) at its rear side which faces the hinge side of the door in the installed state; and/or in that the counter latch (20) has a non-rounded edge (72) at its rear side which faces the hinge side of the door in the installed state. - A latch element in accordance with claim 1,
characterized in that
the counter latch (20) has a respective pin (36) at its mutually oppositely disposed ends, with each pin (36) engaging into an opening (68) of the respective flange (18) and being rotatably supported therein. - A latch element in accordance with at least one of the claims 1 or 6,
characterized in that,
for the purpose of adjusting the latch element (10), the support clamp (16) can be attached to the base plate (48) in different discrete installation positions, for which purpose in particular the support clamp (22) has at least one elongate hole (44) through which a fastening element (34) extends into the base plate (48). - A latch element in accordance with at least one of the claims 1 to 7,
characterized in that
the support clamp (16) forms at least one abutment (42) with which the counter latch (20), and in particular a non-rounded rear-side edge (72) of the counter latch (20), comes into contact in the limited release position. - A latch element in accordance with at least one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that
the latch element (10) comprises a locking mechanism by means of which the counter latch (20) can be locked in the blocked position. - A latch element in accordance with claim 9,
characterized in that
the locking mechanism comprises a blocking slide (46) which is in particular manually displaceable in parallel with the pivot axis of the counter latch (20) and which forms at least one blocking section (48) which, in the locked position of the blocking slide (46), comes to lie in front of a counter blocking section (50) which is formed at a rear-side edge of the counter latch (29) facing the side opposite the hinge. - A latch element in accordance with claim 10,
characterized in that
the blocking section (48) has a run-on slope (52) for the respective other section (50, 48) at its rear side and/or the counter blocking section (50) has a run-on slope (52) for the respective other section (50, 48) at its front side. - A latch element in accordance with at least one of the claims 9 to 11,
characterized in that,
in an unlocked position of the locking mechanism, the counter latch (20) is freely pivotable between the blocked position and the limited release position.
