Definitions
- the invention relates to a one-sided open bag, consisting of a preferably section gusseted hose section made of thermoplastic material, which is closed at one end by a transverse weld seam and at the other end in the edge region of the opening edge of one of the side walls lying flat in the bag with holes for retaining pins is.
- a bag of this type is known for example from DE-OS 32 42 510.
- the holes provided in pairs near the opening edge of a side wall serve to hang the bags or stacks formed from the bags on holding pins, from which the bags can then be torn off.
- Bags of this type are also used for packaging diapers, for example.
- the uppermost bag of a stack of bags held on holding pins is inflated by blowing air, so that pincer-shaped transport tongs holding the diapers move the diapers into the bags and follow them tearing the diapers into the pouches from the holding pins.
- the grippers After the grippers have been moved out of the bags, their open sides are closed by cross-weld separating seams above the holes, so that film strips provided with the holes are produced as waste. Since these strips of waste are relatively wide, there is a considerable loss of material.
- the object of the invention is therefore to create a bag of the type mentioned, in which despite the holding holes in the closure by cutting off the parts projecting beyond the bottom weld seam, only a negligible loss of material occurs.
- this object is achieved in the case of a bag of the generic type in that one side wall is provided with tabs which project beyond its opening edge and which have the holes.
- tabs After the bags have been filled and closed by a transverse weld seam, only the tabs are produced as waste in the bag according to the invention, but they can be kept so narrow that they do not mean a significant loss of material.
- the sealing seams can be applied so close to the edge of the opening that only narrow flags projecting above them are formed. If the bags are closed by cross weld seams, only narrow edge strips are produced as waste, which means no significant loss of material.
- the tabs provided with the holding holes can also consist of strip-shaped sections glued or welded to the edge region of a side wall.
- the tabs are expediently provided approximately congruently only in side gusset parts which adjoin a side wall. You can the tabs on the inner walls of the gussets should be provided with freely slotted holes.
- the tabs are formed by die cuts when the tube sections are separated from a tubular film web or from a flat film web to be folded into a tube, which produce complementary cutouts at the cutting edge of the following section, and that Cross weld seam is applied in the edge area of the section provided with the cutouts below the cutouts. If the pouches according to the invention are produced by this method, the waste accumulating on the sides of the pouches opposite the later closure seam is saved again by separating the flaps when the pouches are closed.
- double flaps are therefore preferably provided so that only the outer sides of the film web and not also possibly differently colored inner sides appear on the strip provided with the grip hole punching.
- the holes are made in parts of the side walls protruding laterally beyond the central region of the opening edges.
- the lateral protruding parts are expediently in the area of the Gussets. If the parts provided with the holes are only in the lateral areas of the sections, when the sections are separated from a flat or tubular web by punching cuts on the side of the handle portion of the flat-lying sack protruding beyond the cross-weld seam, complementary cutouts result which are the strips provided with the handle hole punching cannot weaken. This means that there are no more recesses in the grip hole area that are complementary to the tabs or parts provided with the holding holes and that could appear unsightly.
- the cutouts can be triangular or approximately quarter-circular.
- the layer or layers covering the lower layer are provided with oblong perforations so that they have no holding function.
- incisions can be provided between the holes and the free edges, which are separated from the holes by material webs.
- FIG. 1 shows a gusset bag 1 which is open on one side and is usually used for packaging diapers.
- hanging tabs 4 with hanging holes 5 are provided on the bottom wall, which are located in the area of the side gussets 2.
- This bottom weld is usually carried out as a transverse weld seam, so that essentially only the two tabs 3, 4 are incurred as waste.
- This waste represents only a negligible loss of material, especially since the two tabs have been punched out of the lower layer of the previously manufactured bag when the bag sections are separated from a bag web. This is clear when looking at the top end of the bag, in which the lower web is provided with recesses 3 ', 4', which have been formed by removing the tabs 3, 4.
- the bag hole area according to FIG. 1 has an unsightly appearance because of the Viewers in this area through the recesses 3 ', 4' on the inside, that is, on a side of a different color, looks.
- not only tabs can be provided on the lower wall of the bag, but also additionally on the areas above the corresponding inwardly facing walls of the lower side fold parts. These tabs 8, 9 are provided with free-flowing elongated holes instead of holes, since these should not have any additional holding function.
- the halves consist of strip-shaped film sections 10, 11 provided with holding holes, which are glued or welded to the lateral regions of the lower bag wall, in such a way that they represent the opening edge of the lower wall in the illustrated Tower over.
- the part of the bag provided with the punched hole 12 is separated from the bag 1 by the upper transverse weld 13.
- the side portions 14, 15 and 14 ', 15' are extended in the manner shown over the central areas of the opening edges 6, 7 of the upper and lower side wall in addition approximately quarter-circular.
- the lower layer of the side gusset area is provided with a holding hole 16, while the layers of the side gussets lying above it have freely extending elongated holes.

Description
The invention relates to a one-sided open bag, consisting of a preferably section gusseted hose section made of thermoplastic material, which is closed at one end by a transverse weld seam and at the other end in the edge region of the opening edge of one of the side walls lying flat in the bag with holes for retaining pins is.
A bag of this type is known for example from DE-OS 32 42 510. The holes provided in pairs near the opening edge of a side wall serve to hang the bags or stacks formed from the bags on holding pins, from which the bags can then be torn off.
Bags of this type are also used for packaging diapers, for example. In this case, the uppermost bag of a stack of bags held on holding pins is inflated by blowing air, so that pincer-shaped transport tongs holding the diapers move the diapers into the bags and follow them tearing the diapers into the pouches from the holding pins. After the grippers have been moved out of the bags, their open sides are closed by cross-weld separating seams above the holes, so that film strips provided with the holes are produced as waste. Since these strips of waste are relatively wide, there is a considerable loss of material.
The object of the invention is therefore to create a bag of the type mentioned, in which despite the holding holes in the closure by cutting off the parts projecting beyond the bottom weld seam, only a negligible loss of material occurs.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in the case of a bag of the generic type in that one side wall is provided with tabs which project beyond its opening edge and which have the holes. After the bags have been filled and closed by a transverse weld seam, only the tabs are produced as waste in the bag according to the invention, but they can be kept so narrow that they do not mean a significant loss of material. In the case of the bags according to the invention, the sealing seams can be applied so close to the edge of the opening that only narrow flags projecting above them are formed. If the bags are closed by cross weld seams, only narrow edge strips are produced as waste, which means no significant loss of material.
The tabs provided with the holding holes can also consist of strip-shaped sections glued or welded to the edge region of a side wall.
In the case of bags provided with side gussets, the tabs are expediently provided approximately congruently only in side gusset parts which adjoin a side wall. You can the tabs on the inner walls of the gussets should be provided with freely slotted holes.
According to a method for producing the bags according to the invention, it is provided according to the invention that the tabs are formed by die cuts when the tube sections are separated from a tubular film web or from a flat film web to be folded into a tube, which produce complementary cutouts at the cutting edge of the following section, and that Cross weld seam is applied in the edge area of the section provided with the cutouts below the cutouts. If the pouches according to the invention are produced by this method, the waste accumulating on the sides of the pouches opposite the later closure seam is saved again by separating the flaps when the pouches are closed. This is because the strips provided with the cutouts, projecting beyond the transverse weld seams, are usually provided with finger hole cutouts, so that cutouts located on the side of the handle hole cutouts do not weaken in these strips, since the side areas of the strips provided with the cutouts are not stressed when worn.
In the case of the side-gusset bags produced by the method according to the invention, double flaps are therefore preferably provided so that only the outer sides of the film web and not also possibly differently colored inner sides appear on the strip provided with the grip hole punching.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the holes are made in parts of the side walls protruding laterally beyond the central region of the opening edges. In the case of gusseted bags, the lateral protruding parts are expediently in the area of the Gussets.
The cutouts can be triangular or approximately quarter-circular.
Advantageously, the layer or layers covering the lower layer are provided with oblong perforations so that they have no holding function.
In order to reduce the tear resistance, incisions can be provided between the holes and the free edges, which are separated from the holes by material webs.

- 1 is a perspective view of a first embodiment of a gusset bag open on one side,
- 2 is a perspective view of only the opening area of a bag of the type shown in FIG. 1, in which the holding tabs provided with holes are formed by glued or welded strip-shaped sections,
- 3 shows a representation corresponding to FIG. 2, in which the side fold parts adjoining a side wall are provided with overlapping tabs,
- Fig. 4 is a perspective view of another embodiment of the bag, in which the opening edge is provided with lateral protruding parts, and
- Fig. 5 is an enlarged view of the part circled in Fig. 4 and designated V.
If a bag now has a different color on the outside than on the inside, the bag hole area according to FIG. 1 has an unsightly appearance because of the Viewers in this area through the recesses 3 ', 4' on the inside, that is, on a side of a different color, looks. In order to avoid this unsightly appearance, as can be seen from FIG. 3, not only tabs can be provided on the lower wall of the bag, but also additionally on the areas above the corresponding inwardly facing walls of the lower side fold parts. These tabs 8, 9 are provided with free-flowing elongated holes instead of holes, since these should not have any additional holding function.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the halves consist of strip-
