Definitions

  • the invention relates to an air distributor underlay for a bubble bath device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a support or such a plant part intended for the body-close arrangement to the person to be treated has a rust-like or mat-like supporting body for achieving favorable effects, which has to be arranged with a side facing the body of the person to be treated, such as a body contact side and is provided with air outlet openings so that the air exiting stimulates the person to be treated.
  • the contact side is formed by the surface of relatively hard components, for example essentially dimensionally stable supporting elements, which, despite the buoyancy acting on the body of the person in the bathing water, can lead to a relatively uncomfortable lying position if long treatment times are desired.
  • relatively hard components for example essentially dimensionally stable supporting elements, which, despite the buoyancy acting on the body of the person in the bathing water, can lead to a relatively uncomfortable lying position if long treatment times are desired.
  • supporting bodies made of porcelain or hardwood which have no flexibility.
  • WO 84/04253 discloses a base designed as a mat, in which magnets can be used in openings in support elements. The problem of lying comfort for the user is not addressed in this document.
  • Many known documents also result in a relatively large area of contact with the body, with the adjacent areas not being exposed to the stimulus impulses of the treatment medium or being exposed to less than the areas not adjacent.
  • the invention is furthermore based on the object of creating an air distributor underlay of the type mentioned, by means of which disadvantages of known designs are avoided and which, in particular, ensures a relatively soft contact of the body of the person to be treated even if the contact surface is in relation to the total area is relatively small.
  • Support projections are provided which form at least part of the contact side or contact surface and are at least partially resilient due to the shape of their contact surfaces and / or due to their own elasticity. Preferred embodiments of the base according to the invention result from the dependent claims.
  • the support projections are arranged in openings of the support body, so that a secure connection is ensured even if the support projections are very flat or low. For example, only in the order of magnitude protrude from about one to a few millimeters or in the order of the wall thickness of the support body.
  • the openings can also be available for part of the spring travel of the support projections, so that they can be formed with a relatively flat spring characteristic.
  • the support projections can engage in the openings in a positively locking manner transversely to the contact side and, in each case, in each case encompass the edge of the associated opening designed as an opening in each case with an annular groove.
  • each support projection does not exert excessive point loads
  • the support projections are expediently flat, in particular designed with a spherical contact surface, their height usefully being several times smaller than their width or diameter.
  • the support projections can be distributed in a grid-like manner essentially uniformly over the contact side.
  • a particularly advantageous development of the subject matter of the invention is that a plurality of supporting projections of a supporting body or a supporting element, in particular those which are adjacent to one another, are integrally connected to one another, so that on the one hand simple manufacture and on the other hand a secure connection to the supporting body even with small cross sections results.
  • all the support projections of a support element or of a support body can advantageously be connected to one another in one piece, or support projections that are in at least one Row are one behind the other, connected to each other via a band-shaped connecting section, over which the support projections protrude to the contact side.
  • the one-piece connection or the connection section is not set back on the contact side of the support body, but rather in relation to the latter, in particular on its underside.
  • the openings which could be blind-hole-like depressions on the contact side of the supporting body, are advantageously designed as openings or through-openings which expediently have constant cross sections over their entire axial extent and whose axial extent is approximately in the order of magnitude of the thickness of the connecting section or of the dimension by which the support projections protrude beyond the contact side.
  • An underlay according to the invention is preferably designed such that a side flank of a groove securing a respective support projection of the support body transversely to the contact side through the underside of a projection plate of the support projection and an opposite side flank through the upper side of a connecting section for the support projections, which lies essentially over the entire surface on the underside of the support element is formed.
  • the supporting projection is preferably designed to be pressure-elastic in the form of a membrane or can at least partially be subjected to bending in its spring movement.
  • the support projection can, for example, be hollowed out in the shape of a spherical cap or the like on its underside or on the underside of the connecting section in such a way that its wall thickness is in the region of its center is substantially smaller than its total height, including the connecting section, where appropriate, this wall thickness can be approximately in the order of the dimension by which the supporting projection protrudes beyond the contact side.
  • the wall thickness of the support projection expediently increases progressively radially outward from this zone or this center of minimal wall thickness.
  • Suitable materials for the supporting projection are soft polyurethane, soft polyvinyl chloride, rubber or the like.
  • the wall thickness of the support projection is smaller than the clear width or the inner diameter of the opening in the dimensionally stable element.
  • the outer width or the outer diameter of the preferably circular support projections is expediently in the order of magnitude between 10 to 30 mm and the width of the opening is only a few millimeters smaller.
  • the wall of the support projection can be designed so that it is dome-shaped in axial section.
  • the shape of the supporting projection or the dome shape is expediently chosen so that the supporting projection always springs back monostably elastically into its starting position, namely into its supporting position projecting over the contact side, and does not find another self-retaining position in the pressed-in position.
  • the support body or the support elements can advantageously at least partially form air-guiding or air-guiding cavities, such as lines of approximately constant cross-section, for which the support elements as cassettes, profiles or the like. can be formed in cross-section over the circumference, if necessary, are closed except for the outlet openings and inlet connections.
  • Air outlet openings can, for example, be provided in a ring around the central axis of the respective support projection in this and / or directly adjacent to its periphery.
  • the supporting body or the respective supporting element can be designed in one piece in the form of a plate, rust, lattice or the like.
  • dimensionally stable supporting elements are expediently provided, which have an upper supporting web, which receives the supporting projections, and preferably at least one profile leg projecting downward therefrom, wherein these supporting elements can each be U-shaped, for example, with a width that is greater than their leg height.
  • At least one profile leg of the respective support element can protrude further downward than the support projections, in particular as a connecting section of the support projections.
  • the rust structure of the support body can be produced particularly easily from the support elements described, which in turn form air ducts, are provided with inserted or molded air channels or are connected to the support body with separate air channels, for example between them.
  • the respective The support element can only have a single row of support projections approximately in the middle of its width, it being possible for example for the diameter of the support projections of the support body to be greater than one third of the width of an associated support element.
  • longitudinal edges of the support body or the support elements can be very easily to avoid sharp edges, to achieve soft support surfaces compared to the bathtub or the like.
  • Both the support projections which can be partially different or preferably all the same, as well as the edge protection profiles are expediently formed by injection molded parts made of plastic, which are attached directly to the support body or the respective support element, for example in are molded together in one operation, so that there is a particularly tight and play-free attachment of the respective injection molded part with simple manufacture.
  • the air distribution pad 1 according to FIGS. 1 to 4 which can also be dimensioned as a pure foot pad for a foot treatment or for the treatment of other limited body areas, is used for arrangement on the floor of a water-filled bathtub, whereby it is expedient essentially over the stretches the entire length of the tub floor and also a backrest part for the arrangement on the inclined slope Back wall of the bathtub can have.
  • the base 1 is essentially formed by a rust or mat-shaped, but essentially dimensionally stable support body 2, which is formed in one piece or can be composed of mat members 3 which are hinged to one another in the longitudinal direction and can be composed of approximately the same size, so that the base is stored in a packet-like manner , can be folded in an angle or U-shape or similar. In the example shown, three mat members 3 are provided for the bottom of the bathtub.
  • an air inlet connection 5 is provided approximately in the middle of the width thereof for the connection of a flexible air hose, which connects the base 1 to a base unit for the air supply which is located outside the bath tub and has a compressed air blower.
  • the support body 1 is provided with substantially continuous lengthways and also essentially in its longitudinal direction, for example rectilinear air channels 6, which can be formed by tubular profiles or molded into the support body 1.
  • the air channels 6 are connected to the support body 2, for example, with support elements 7 lying between them and on the outer longitudinal sides of the support body 2, wherein the support elements 7 can be formed by separate components or can be formed in one piece with the air channels 6.
  • Each mat member 3 forms a self-contained support body, but the air channels 6 can pass in one piece over the entire length of the base 1.
  • the support elements of the support body 2 or of the respective mat member 3 can, as shown, be linear and linear, for example formed by separate extruded sections or at their ends by correspondingly separate or in one piece cross frames formed with them can be connected to one another like a grid, or their connection can only take place via the air channels 6.
  • the support body 2 or the mat members 3 form a plant side 8 which is essentially at the top for the person using the base. Passages for the blower air supplied to the underlay 1 are provided in this plant side essentially uniformly distributed over the entire base area of the underlay 1, in the exemplary embodiment shown these passages being formed directly by air outlet openings 9 which, in the manner of perforations, form the upper walls of the air ducts 6 enforce.
  • the support projections 10 lie between adjacent longitudinal rows of outlet openings 9 and can also be provided in such longitudinal rows with an intermediate distance which is approximately in the order of magnitude of their outside width or outside diameter.
  • Each support projection 10 which in the illustrated embodiment is circular in plan view, but also oval, approximately rectangular or square, triangular or similar, forms a projection plate 11 projecting relatively flat over the contact side 8 of the associated support element 7, with its one
  • the end face forms essentially the entire surface, which expediently upwardly curved contact surface 31 for the body of the person to be treated.
  • the lower end face of the projection plate 11 is immediately followed by a shaft 12 which is only slightly reduced in outer diameter and is very short which, with its outer circumference, forms the bottom surface of a radially outwardly open annular groove 13 and at its end facing away from the projection plate 11 merges into a connecting section 14 which is also formed in one piece with it but is band-shaped.
  • the underside of the projection plate 11 thus forms an annular shoulder for support on the support element 7 and as an upper or downward-facing side flank 15 of the ring groove 13, while the essentially continuous flat top side of the connecting section 14 with a rectangular flat cross section has the other side flank 16 of the ring groove 13 as well as in the longitudinal direction of the connecting section 14 adjoining surface sections lying between adjacent supporting projections 10 for the contact of the connecting section 14 on the underside of the supporting element 7.
  • Each support projection 10 is designed in the manner of a dome-like spring membrane in that it is provided from its side facing away from the contact surface 31 with an approximately spherical cap-shaped cavity 17, the radius of curvature of which is substantially smaller than that of the contact surface 31.
  • the support projection 10 forms a membrane-like end wall 18 of different thickness, namely increasing radially outwards from the center of the contact surface 31, which is approximately the same in its thinnest area as the thickness of the plate projection 10, while in the area of the shaft 12 it is the total thickness of the projection plate 11, shaft 12 and connecting section 14 corresponds.
  • the hollow 17 passing through the connecting section 14 and the hollow shaft 12 has its greatest width on the essentially flat underside of the connecting section 14.
  • the support element 7 is expediently the same basic shape as the projection plate 11, namely, for example circular or cylindrical basic shape opening 19 is provided, the edge 20 engages in the annular groove 13 radially and / or axially substantially without play.
  • All of the support projections 10 of the respective support element 7, including their shafts and the connection element (s) 14, are molded directly onto this support element in a single injection molding operation, so that the support element itself, namely at least in the region of the opening 19 or the edge 20, forms the injection mold and there is a very firm connection.
  • the support elements 7 themselves suitably consist of plastic, but from a much harder material than the support projections 10, namely, for example, from hard PVC, PA, PP or ABS.
  • Additional functional parts of the base 1 can be integrally formed on the supporting projections 10 or on the connecting section 14, namely, for example, feet protruding downwards, suction cups for the connection to the tub floor or the like. These functional parts are then expediently located between adjacent support projections 10. If, according to FIGS. 1 to 4, only one longitudinal row of support projections 10 is provided per support element 7, the width or the diameter of the respective support projection 10 is expediently greater than a third of the width of the support element .
  • the supporting elements 7 having the supporting projections 10 can be designed differently or all of them essentially the same.
  • the respective support element 7 is designed as a U-profile, the U-transverse web forms an approximately flat support web 22 lying approximately parallel to the mat plane at the top, from which the profile legs 23 of different or equal height are approximately at right angles downwards and rounded into the Pass over the web 22.
  • the height of the profile leg 23 is much greater than the thickness of the connecting portion 14, so that the Injection molded part 21 forming support projections 10 is completely sunk on the underside within the support body 2 or the respective support element 7.
  • each profile leg 23 of the support element 7 is provided with an edge protection profile 25, which is molded directly onto the support element 7 in the same way as the injection molded part 21.
  • Each edge protection profile 25 has a profile crosspiece 26 closely fitting on the longitudinal edge of the associated edge 24, which is formed in one piece with two profile legs 27, 28 which are opposite one another and spaced closely on both sides on the outside and on the inside of the profile leg 23, which are the same or can be of different heights.
  • the profile legs 27, 28 and the profile crossbar 26 have approximately the same thickness, which is approximately in the order of magnitude of the wall thickness of the support element 7.
  • the edge 24 is provided between the profile legs 27, 28 with a continuous row of holes 29 closely spaced along its length, the width or inner diameter of which may be of the order of magnitude of the wall thickness of the support element 7 or the edge protection profile 25.
  • this tightly filling locking pin 30 which is formed in one piece with the edge protection profile 25 and preferably integrally with both ends in both facing inner sides of the two profile legs 27, 28, so that it practically a connecting bridge between these two profile legs 27, 28 and form-fitting securing against pulling off the edge protection profile 25 from the support element 7.
