Definitions
- the present invention relates to a spacer for the erection of walls from superimposed bricks, which have at least one opening on their horizontally lying sides, the spacer centering, which protrude into an opening in each of the stone below and above, and a support part for which has stones.
- a spacer in the form of a one-piece injection molded ring is known from EP-A-170 840 and is used above all for the construction of so-called dry walls.
- the bricks lying one on top of the other have pegs on one side and corresponding recesses on the other side lying horizontally, a concentric, offset collar being provided around the peg, on the one hand ensures a distance between the building blocks and, on the other hand, prevents injury by pinching your fingers when laying these stones. Since the production of such stones with pin and collar is relatively complex, the aforementioned spacer was created for this purpose, which allows flat stones to be produced with a continuous recess, which allow a much more economical and efficient production. In the known spacer, the stones rest on a continuous, relatively narrow ring.
- the first problem is solved with all the spacers defined in the claims, while the second problem is solved with the spacers defined in the dependent claims 5-7.
- the spacer 1 can be seen, the retaining ring 2 which (see FIG. 2) is followed by a transition ring 3 which is perpendicular to the retaining ring 2, the retaining ring and the transition ring together having a T-shaped cross section exhibit.
- four spacers 4 are arranged, which are designed to absorb the weight of the stones. In principle, three transition pieces would be sufficient to ensure stable support of the stones lying on them, but four spacers were chosen for reasons of symmetry.
- the spacers 4 are circular and have struts 5 to give them the necessary strength.
- the struts are arranged in such a way that, together with the inner and outer circular ring walls, triangles are rotated alternately with respect to one another. This ensures maximum strength with the lowest material consumption.
- Centering tabs 6 and 7 are arranged on the retaining ring 2, evenly distributed over the circumference, in the middle of which inward-pointing reinforcing tabs 29 and 30 are attached. Each reinforcement tab opens into inward-facing support ribs 8. In the present example, it is the four reinforcement tabs 29 while the four reinforcement tabs 30 are shorter.
- the number of centering tabs is critical, ie there could be more or fewer centering tabs. 2 and 3 that the diameter of the retaining ring is somewhat smaller than the diameter of the opening 12 of the stone 11, so that the stones do not rest there.
- the support ribs 8 have the task of receiving reinforcing iron rings 9, which serve to pour out the stone openings.
- Vertically arranged reinforcing irons 10 are fastened to the reinforcing iron rings 9. Pouring out the walls is particularly necessary if the construction height exceeds a prescribed construction height or if the terrain makes this necessary.
- Fig. 3 you can also see the two layers of bricks 11 with their openings 12. These may be bricks that have the appearance of those according to DE-C-26 50 292, of course without pegs and concentrically offset around the peg Bundles.
- 1-3 is expediently injection molded in one piece from plastic, both the shape and the arrangement of the centering tabs and spacers being designed to be able to construct a relatively simple shape for this in order to ensure the most economical production possible in large series .
- 4 schematically shows two layers of stones lying one on top of the other, the lowest layer being anchored in the foundation 13. Since plastic usually has a relatively smooth surface and therefore a different reflection coefficient than the bricks, the visible outer surfaces of the spacers are roughened to reduce their visibility, especially when illuminated by light.
- the transition ring 3 in the spacers is additionally reinforced in that the two reinforcing tabs 29 and 30 are connected to the ends of the spacers via reinforcing ribs 14 and 15, one reinforcing rib, 14, below and the another, 15, is arranged above the transition ring.
- reinforcing tabs have a bevel 16 on both sides inwards in order to save material.
- the spacer 17 is primarily intended for walls that are concreted, although this spacer is also suitable for a few layers.
- the spacer 17 consists essentially of a retaining ring 18, on which four spacers 20 are arranged over two webs 19, which are similar in construction to the spacer 4 of the first embodiment and also have obliquely arranged struts 21.
- the retaining ring 18 has upward and downward centering tabs which are distributed over the entire circumference, the downward facing centering tabs 22 being fewer in number than the upward facing centering tabs 23.
- fewer and smaller recesses 24 are present in the retaining ring 18 designed as a centering ring than at the bottom, as a result of which this spacer is no longer fully symmetrical, i.e. when laying, the top must actually be used lying upwards, since in this direction the centering function is more pronounced than downwards, where the piece below essentially keeps the stone centered.
- the spacers 17 are provided for walls that are to be concreted and therefore means are available to hold the vertical reinforcing bars 10 on the one hand and the reinforcing iron rings 9 on the other.
- the two vertical reinforcement bars 10 are each held by a fork-shaped holder 25, the fork web 26 being fastened to the holding ring 18.
- the two fork tines 27 are resilient.
- the reinforcing iron rings 9 rest on two support ribs 28. Both in the forks and in the support ribs there are recesses 24 in the centering ring, so that, if necessary, the reinforcing iron or the reinforcing iron rings can be easily attached by means of wire.
- This spacer is generally injection molded in one piece from plastic and has optically roughened side surfaces.
- both exemplary embodiments have in common that the isolated and symmetrically arranged spacers make it possible to avoid unevenness on the stones, certain unevenness, or continuous beads, being caused by manufacturing technology. This results in a secure support of the stones, while the torsion-resistant construction of the spacers and in the first embodiment of the T-shaped cross section composed of the retaining ring and transition ring ensures a secure and movement-free hold of the bricks, which were built to a previously impossible height of over one meter can be made without having to be concreted.

Abstract
