Abstract

Ein Saunaofen (1) besteht aus einem Mantel (3) aus hitzebe­ ständigem Werkstoff, der in einem Gestell (2) gehalten ist. An der Oberseite des Gestells (2) ist ein Korb (4) mit Steinen (5) eingesetzt. Unterhalb des Korbs (4) ist eine Heizeinrichtung (7) zur Erwärmung des Saunaraumes (33) angebracht.
Zum Betreiben verschiedener Saunabetriebsarten, wie dem Trocken­ saunabetrieb, dem Dampfsaunabetrieb oder dem Biodampfsaunabetrieb, die jeweils durch ein unterschiedliches Verhältnis von Saunatempe­ ratur und Luftfeuchtigkeit gekennzeichnet sind, ist unterhalb des Ofens (1) mit Abstand zu dessen Boden (9) eine Verdampferwan­ ne (10) für Flüssigkeit angeordnet.
Innerhalb dieser Verdampferwanne (10) ist eine Heizvorrichtung (14) installiert. Zur Erzeugung der unterschiedlichen Saunabetriebs­ arten kann die Heizvorrichtung (14) bei vorbestimmten Temperatur­ werten der regelbaren Heizeinrichtung (7) des Ofens (1) geschal­ tet werden. Von der Verdampferwanne (10) strömt die sauerstoff­ haltige Mischluft über ein oder mehrere Dampfleitrohre (18) durch den Ofen hindurch und tritt an der Oberseite des Ofens (1) in den Saunaraum (33) aus.
