Definitions
- the invention relates to plate-shaped components, in particular glass panels for facades and holding devices therefor.
- the plate-shaped components according to the invention and the holding device therefor are primarily characterized in that the components have holding grooves on their edge surfaces and in that the holding device comprises holding elements engaging in the form of hooks.
- the holding grooves can be provided in sections along the edge surfaces of the components or can be designed to run along the edge surfaces. If the components are insulating glass plates made of two or more glass panels glued to one another, the holding grooves are preferably arranged in the edge surfaces of the glass panels lying on the outside.
- the holding elements are flat angles, the angled ends of which protrude into the holding grooves and the flat ends of which bear the support structure are connectable via mounting rails.
- the holding elements can preferably have ribs, elastic sealing and covering elements being provided which engage behind the ribs.
- the holding elements are angular profile strips which extend over the entire length of the edge surfaces.
- the mounting strips can have screw channels for fastening the holding elements, mounting flanges for fastening to the support structure and, if appropriate, seals with respect to the plate-shaped components and with respect to the support structure.
- the support structure can e.g. a metal support structure, wooden structure or the building wall.
- the plate-shaped components are primarily glass panels or insulating glass panels made of several glass panels, but can also be plastic panels or panels made of other building materials.
- Fig.1 are the joints for better illustration shown widened between the components 1.
- the holding elements and grooves shown are also enlarged to scale.
- the components 1 have on their edge surfaces 3 holding grooves 4, 5, in which holding elements 6 engage.
- the holding elements 6 are connected to the support structure 2 and thus hold the components 1.
- the holding grooves are shown in FIG. 1 in two different designs.
- the retaining grooves 4 are partially formed grooves, whereas the retaining grooves 5 extend over the entire length of the edge surfaces 3.
- the holding elements 7 are angular profile strips 7 which extend over the entire length of the edge surfaces 3 and which protrude into corresponding holding grooves 5.
- FIG 3 shows in detail a section through the joint of two plate-shaped components 1 and the associated holding device.
- the components 1 consist of an outer glass plate 8 and an inner glass plate 9, which are glued together via a sealing strip 10.
- the holding grooves 11 are arranged, which can correspond to the embodiments reference numbers 4 or 5 (FIG. 1).
- the holding elements 12 are flat angles, the angled ends 13 of which protrude into the holding grooves 11 and thus hold the components 1.
- the flat ends of the holding elements 12 are by screws 27 with mounting strips 14 and these in turn with the Stauerkon structure 2 connected.
- the mounting strips 14 are preferably plastic profiles, each with a screw channel 15, so that the screws 13 can be screwed in at any point on the screw channel.

- the holding elements 12 carry projecting ribs 18, so that elastic sealing and covering elements 19 can be inserted into the gap between the two adjacent components 1 and are held there. These sealing and cover elements 19 also ensure that the angled ends 13 of the holding elements are held in the holding grooves 11.
- the embodiment according to Figure 4 corresponds essentially to that of Figure 3 and analog parts are provided with the same reference numerals.
- the component 1 is also an insulating glass plate, consisting of two glass panels 8, 9, whereas the construction panel shown on the right is an opaque construction panel 20 made of plastic.
- the flat angles as holding elements 21 have no ribs here as in the embodiment according to FIG. 3, so that the gap between the two components 1, 20 remains freely accessible and e.g. is better ventilated.
- the retaining groove 21 on the edge surface 3 is rounded in cross section and relatively flat, this shape of the retaining groove being simpler to manufacture. Accordingly, the angled end of the holding element 22 is also designed as a rib 24 with a rounded cross section. 4 and 6, the outer leg 25 is of the plate-shaped component 1 is longer than the inner leg 26, so that the holding element 22 is not visible from the outside.
- FIG. 7 shows an exemplary embodiment of the type that can be used in insulating glass plates with step folds.
- the holding elements are also angled, as can be seen in the figure.
- the joint between the components is sprayed out with moisture-proof silicone compound.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to plate-shaped components, in particular glass panels for facades and holding devices therefor.
For the cladding of building facades, it may be desirable and necessary to fasten plate-shaped components and in particular glass panels that are mirrored, tinted or conventional glass panels to the support structure in such a way that on the one hand the necessary support is given and on the other hand the holding devices for the components of are not visible from the outside. This is particularly difficult with glass panels and insulating glass plates made of two or more glass panels glued together. Bonding is not strong enough and is usually not removed by the building authorities. Holding elements that encompass the components at the edges are visible from the outside, so that the desired effect is not achieved.
The plate-shaped components according to the invention and the holding device therefor are primarily characterized in that the components have holding grooves on their edge surfaces and in that the holding device comprises holding elements engaging in the form of hooks. The holding grooves can be provided in sections along the edge surfaces of the components or can be designed to run along the edge surfaces. If the components are insulating glass plates made of two or more glass panels glued to one another, the holding grooves are preferably arranged in the edge surfaces of the glass panels lying on the outside.
According to a further feature of the invention, the holding elements are flat angles, the angled ends of which protrude into the holding grooves and the flat ends of which bear the support structure are connectable via mounting rails. The holding elements can preferably have ribs, elastic sealing and covering elements being provided which engage behind the ribs. According to a further feature of the invention, the holding elements are angular profile strips which extend over the entire length of the edge surfaces. Furthermore, the mounting strips can have screw channels for fastening the holding elements, mounting flanges for fastening to the support structure and, if appropriate, seals with respect to the plate-shaped components and with respect to the support structure.
