Abstract

Bei einer Rasterwalze für ein einer Offsetdruckmaschine zugeordnetes Farbwerk, insbesondere Kurzfarbwerk, die mit durch keramisches Material enthaltende Stege (6) voneinander getrennten, eine farbfreundliche, vorzugs­ weise aus Kupfer bestehende Oberfläche aufweisenden Näpfchen (5) versehen ist und mit wenigstens einer an ihrem Umfang anliegenden, vorzugsweise negativ ange­ stellten Rakel zusammenwirkt,lassen sich dadurch eine hohe Verschleißfestigkeit sowie eine hohe Genauigkeit erreichen, daß der ungravierte Grundkörper (8) zunächst mit farbfreundlichem Material, vorzugsweise Kupfer, und danach mit Keramik beschichtet wird und daß darauf die Gravur erfolgt, die die Keramikschicht (10) durch­ dringt und bis in die innere, aus farbfreundlichem Ma­ terial bestehende Schicht (9) reicht.
