Definitions
- the invention relates to call registering and display devices for elevators arranged on the floors with immediate assignment of destination calls, each call registration and display device having a keyboard for entering calls for desired destination floors, call memory and a display field in which at least a first, the selected destination floor signaling display element is arranged, and wherein a first control circuit connected to the keyboard and the first display element is provided, by means of which the first display element can be activated when the call is input.
- US-A-3 493 922 discloses a call registration and display device which is arranged in an elevator car and which has a 10-key keyboard for entering car calls and a display field for displaying the selected floor. So that the entered call can be saved and transferred to the control, an additional registration key must be pressed within a predetermined time. If the registration key is not actuated, it lights up after the predetermined time has elapsed, the call entered being automatically deleted after a further predetermined time if this signal is ignored. Another call can also be used to delete a call if it has been entered incorrectly or in error, for example. As can be seen from the above, the call entry with this call registration device requires increased attention of the passenger and especially also in the case of incorrectly entered calls or carelessness, an increased expenditure of time per entered call, so that with several, simultaneously boarding passengers may experience uncomfortable situations due to disabilities.
- call registration devices are provided which likewise have a 10-key keyboard.
- the call registration devices are arranged on the floors, whereas no call buttons are provided in the elevator cars.
- the call registration device has, instead of the registration button provided in the first-mentioned prior art, a time limit circuit which is activated when a first digit is entered and which requires the second digit of a call to be within a predetermined one Time must be entered, whereby the entered call is automatically registered after this time. Failure to observe the time limit can result in incorrect call entries.
- the group control mentioned above has a computer in the form of a microprocessor and a comparison device for each elevator. Immediately after registering a call, the computer calculates a sum corresponding to the average waiting time of all passengers, also called service costs, from elevator-specific data. During an immediately following comparison of the operating costs of all elevators, the elevator with the lowest operating costs is determined, to which the relevant call is then allocated. Since when entering a call on a floor, in addition to a floor call, a cabin call that identifies the desired destination floor is also saved, the latter can be used when calculating the service costs are taken into account, so that the cabin determined in the comparison is the cheapest for both the operation of the input floor and that of the destination floor.
- This method means that the passengers waiting on a floor can only be informed of the assigned cabin shortly before arrival, for example by lighting up a direction indicator arranged above the elevator door in question and, if appropriate, by an acoustic signal.
- a direction indicator arranged above the elevator door in question
- an acoustic signal In larger systems with several elevators, difficulties can arise for the passengers, since there is relatively little time to recognize the display and to go to the signaled elevator in good time.
- the invention has for its object to provide a call registration and display device according to the preamble, in which on the one hand the call input is not tied to predetermined times and incorrect entries can be better recognized and eliminated, and on the other hand, the cabin selected immediately after the call input to the passenger immediately and clearly for display can be brought.
- the advantages achieved by the invention are that after the call has been entered neither a registration key nor a correction key has to be pressed, so that time can be saved and the input process for the passenger is simplified. By eliminating the predetermined input time, a better adaptation to the passenger is achieved and the registration of incorrectly entered calls is avoided.
- the advantages achieved with regard to the display can be seen in the fact that when a floor that is not present is entered, it is not the corresponding number that is signaled, but rather a symbol that more clearly indicates to the passenger that the entry was incorrect.
- the call registration and display device which is designed, for example, for one- and two-digit calls, consists of a keyboard 20 which has ten keys 1... 9 and 0 for the call input to desired destination floors.

- the call registration and display device described above with reference to FIG. 1 operates as follows:
- the proximity switch 28 may generate a logic "1" signal for the duration of the approach (time I, FIG. 2a). Since it is initially assumed that the remaining inputs of the fourth AND gate 29 are also "1", the one inputs of the fifth, sixth and seventh AND gate 30.1, 30.2, 30.3 set to "1". If the RS flip-flop 45 is not set, one of its outputs has an output Q state "1" so that the first AND gates 21.1 ... 21.9, 21.0 are released for call input. When a call is entered for, for example, floor 13, the key of number 1 is actuated initially, a short pulse being generated and the key memory 23.1 being set via the first AND gate 21.1.
- the RS flip-flop 45 After a delay caused by the further delay element 44, the RS flip-flop 45 is set, so that its other output Q has the state "1" (time II, FIG. 2a).
- the second AND gates 22.1 .... 22.9, 22.0 are thus released and the first AND gates 21.1 .... 21.9, 21.0 are blocked, so that when the key of the number 3 is pressed, the assigned key memory 24.3 via the second AND Section 22.3 is set.
- the combinatorial logic 25 thus has the input variables 1 'and 3' and the output variable 13 assigned to the call memory 27.13 for floor 13. Since only the first tristate buffers 57 may initially be activated when the number 1 is entered, the seven-segment display 51 arranged on the right will light up accordingly.
- the first tristate buffers 57 are deactivated, the second and third 58, 59 are activated, so that the second seven-segment display 52 arranged on the left now Number 1 and the first seven-segment display 51 arranged on the right shows the number 3.
- the passenger removes his hand from the keyboard 20, the falling edges of the output signals of the proximity switch 28 and the first delay element 32 at the output of the first AND element 37 of the delay circuit 31 generate a first pulse, by means of which the third AND elements 26.0 , 26.1 .... 26.n are released and the call memory 27.13 assigned to the floor 13 is set (time III, FIG. 2a).
- the counter 66 and the RS flip-flop 45 are reset and the monoflop 34 is switched.
- the fourth AND gate 29 is blocked by the further NOT gate 41. Due to the falling edges of the output signals of the monoflop 34 and the second delay element 33, a second pulse is generated at the output of the second AND element 38 of the delay circuit 31, by means of which all the key memories 23, 24 are reset, the display of the entered call being deleted and the Blocking the call input is released again (time IV, Fig. 2a).
- a first pulse is generated at the output of the AND gate 37, as already described above, by means of which the RS flip-flop 45 and the counter 66 are reset, the carry signal disappearing (time VI, Fig. 2b).
- the blocked AND gates 39, 40 prevent the monoflop 34 of the delay circuit 31 and the call memory 27 from being switched or set.
- the second display element 60 is extinguished, the call input being released again (time VII, FIG. 2b).
- 70 denotes the shaft doors of three elevators A, B, C of an elevator group arranged on one floor.
- Call registering and display devices AB, BC are provided between the shaft doors 70 and are connected via further control circuits 71, 72 described in more detail below to microcomputer systems 73a, 73b, 73c assigned to elevators A, B, C, one of which is connected to EP-A- 0 246 395 form known group control.
- One further control circuit 71 consists of three address decoders 74, three monoflops 75, three AND gates 76 each having two inputs and one OR gate 77 having two inputs.
- the other further control circuit 72 consists only of three AND gates 78 and an OR Member 79, which also each have two inputs.
- the address decoders 74 are each connected on the input side to an address bus ab and a component enable line ce of the associated microcomputer systems 73a, 73b, 73c. On the output side, the address decoders 74 are connected to the inputs of the monoflops 75, the outputs of which are connected to an input of the AND gates 76. The other inputs of the AND gates 76 are connected to the output of the monoflop 34 (FIG. 1) of the one call registration and display device AB. The outputs of the monoflops 75 are also connected to an input of the AND gates 78, the other inputs of which are connected to the output of the monoflop 34 (FIG. 1) of the other call register and Display device BC are connected.
- the outputs of the AND gates 76, 78 are connected to display elements which are described in more detail with reference to FIGS. 4-6.
- the further control circuits 71, 72 are preferably installed in the call registration and display devices AB and BC.
- the call registration and display devices AB, BC are connected to one another in a manner not shown in such a way that when one is actuated the other is blocked and vice versa.
- 80, 81, 82 denote a third, fourth and fifth display element, which are arranged in a display field 83 of the call registration and display device.
- the display elements 80, 81, 82 consist of light-emitting diodes arranged in a grid, by means of which the letters A, B, C can be formed when the third display element 80 is activated.
- An arrow pointing to the left can be formed in the fourth display element 81 and an arrow pointing in the right direction in the fifth display element 82.
- the light-emitting diodes of the second display element 60 are preferably placed between the light-emitting diodes of the first display element 50 (FIGS. 4, 5).
- the third display element 80 has three activation connections which are connected to the outputs of the relevant AND elements 76 and 78 assigned to the elevators A, B, C, respectively.
- the fourth display element 81 is at the output of the AND gate 76 assigned to the elevator A, and the fifth display element 82 via the OR gate 77 at the outputs of the AND gate 76 assigned to the elevators B, C. connected.
- the fourth display element 81 is located via the OR gate 79 with the outputs of the AND gates 78 assigned to the elevators A, B, and the fifth display element 82 with the output of the AND gate assigned to the elevator C. 78 related.
- a passenger for example on floor 15, uses the one call registration and display device AB to enter a call for floor 24.
- the first display element 50 lights up accordingly.
- the call as described in EP-A-0 246 395 already cited, is fed to the group control and the elevator which can best serve the call is immediately determined.
- the call has been allocated to elevator A, and the allocation may be final.
- a program runs in the microcomputer system 73a, by means of which an assignment instruction relating to the call is written into an assignment memory.
- the microcomputer system 73a sets the address of the floor 15 on the address bus and releases the address decoder 74 of the elevator A via the module enable line ce.
- the output of the relevant address decoder 74 therefore becomes “1", so that the associated monoflop 75 is switched. Since the AND gates 76 are enabled when the monoflop 34 (FIG. 1) of the activated call registration and display device AB is activated, the output of the AND gates 76 assigned to the elevator A has the state "1", so that the letter A of the third display element 80 and the fourth display element 81 are activated.
- the assigned elevator and its position in relation to the actuated call registration and display device are displayed to the passenger immediately after the entry of the call (FIG. 4).
- the third and fourth display elements 80, 81 extinguish simultaneously with the first display element 50 signaling the entered floor number. If the If call for floor 24 is assigned to elevator B, for example, the same processes described above take place, but the output of the AND gate 76 assigned to elevator B has the state "1", so that the letter B of the third display element 80 and the fifth display element 82 can be activated (FIG. 5). If, for example, a passenger has entered a number for a floor that does not exist using the other call registration and display device BC, the second display element 60 is activated and the double question mark is signaled (FIG. 6, as described with reference to FIGS. 1, 2a, 2b) ).
- the signaling of the first display element 50 is intermittent until the relevant monoflop 75 is switched on, and the signaling of the fourth or fifth display element 81, 82 is intermittent during its entire switch-on period.
- the proximity switch 28 mentioned in the description of FIG. 1, which operates according to the capacitive detection principle it is also possible, for example, to use infrared reflex sensors or temperature sensors.
