Abstract

Die Lippenabdichtung für den Schwertkasten eines Surfsegelbrettes (1) weist zwei beidseitig der Schwertkastenöffnung (2) in den Brettkörper eingelassene Trägerleisten (3) sowie zwei mit dem Profil (4) des Unterwasserschiffes abschließende, als Klemmleisten ausgebildete Deckleisten (5) zum Einklemmen in die Trägerleisten (3) auf. Die Deckleisten (5) bestehen aus einem flachen Strangpreßprofil, das eine äußere Klemmzone (6) aus einem harten Kunststoff, z.B. Polyvinylchlorid, und eine innere, eine Dichtlippe (7) bildende Zone aus elastischem Kunststoff, z.B. Polyurethan, aufweist. Die beiden Dichtlippen (7) der Lippenabdichtung bilden einen elastischen, dichten Verschluß der Schwertkastenöffnung (2) in der eingeklappten (8ʹ) und der ausgeklappten Stellung (8ʺ) des Schwertes (8).

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lippenabdichtung aus Kunststoff, insbesondere für den unteren Abschluß des Schwertkastens eines Surfsegelbrettes.
  • Bei den meisten auf dem Markt befindlichen Surfbrettausführungen werden die Dichtlippen für den Schwertkasten in den Brettkörper eingeklebt. Bei der Serienfertigung dieser Surfbretter bestehen insofern Probleme, als die Verklebungen nicht durchgehend mit der gleichen Qualität ausgeführt werden können und daß die Qualität des Klebers unterschiedlich ist.
  • Man hat auch bereits Dichtlippenprofile für den Schwertkasten in den Brettkörper eingeschraubt. Das Einschrauben der Dichtlippen bringt auf der einen Seite den Vorteil der leichten Auswechselbarkeit erneuerungsbedürftiger Dichtlippen, zeigt jedoch auf der anderen Seite den Nachteil, daß die Strömungsverhältnisse unter dem Brett durch die über das Unterwasserschiff vorstehenden Schraubenköpfe ungünstig beeinflußt werden.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Lippenabdichtung für den Schwertkasten von Surfsegelbrettern zu entwickeln, die sich nicht vom Brettkörper löst, die Strömungsverhältnisse nicht beeintrachtigt und bei eventuellen Schäden leicht auswechselbar ist.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß mit den im Kennzeichen des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmalen gelöst.
  • Zweckmäßige Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche.
  • Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dädurch aus, die gestellte Aufgabe auf einfache und zweckmäßige Weise zu lösen. Ferner bietet die Lippenäbdichtung eine optimale Steifigkeit gegen Wasserdruck und ist bei ein- und ausgeklappter Stellung des Schwertes nahezu völlig dicht. Die Deckleiste mit der Dichtlippe zeichnet sich durch eine strömungsgünstige Oberfläche aus. Schließlich ist die Deckleiste sehr kostengünstig herzustellen, da die Klemmzone aus hartem Kunststoff, z.B. Polyvinylchlorid, und die Dichtlippe aus weichem Kunststoff, z.B. Polyurethan, bei entsprechender Gestaltung des Strangpreßmundstücks eines Extruders aus diesen relativ preisgünstigen Stoffen gleichzeitig stranggepreßt werden können und sich die beiden unterschiedlichen Kunststoffen beim Aushärten fest miteinander verbinden.
  • Die Erfindung ist nachstehend anhand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels im einzelnen erläutert. Es zeigen
    • Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt der Lippenabdichtung außerhalb des Schwertkastens bei ein- und ausgeklapptem Schwert und
    • Fig. 2 eine vergrößerte Querschnittsdarstellung der in die Trägerleiste eingeklemmten Deckleiste der Lippenabdichtung.
  • Die Lippenabdichtung für den nicht dargestellten Schwertkasten eines Surfsegelbrettes (1) weist zwei beidseitig der Schwertkastenöffnung (2) in den Brettkörper eingelassene Trägerleisten (3) sowie zwei mit dem Profil (4) des Unterwasserschiffes abschließende, als Klemmleisten ausgebildete Deckleisten (5) zum Einklemmen in die Trägerleisten (3) auf. Die Deckleisten (5) bestehen aus einem flachen Strangpreßprofil, das eine äußere Klemmzone (6) aus einem harten Kunststoff, z.B. Polyvinylchlorid, und eine innere, eine Dichtlippe (7) bildende Zone aus elastischem Kunststoff, z.B. Polyurethan, aufweist. Die beiden Dichtlippen (7) der Lippenabdichtung bilden einen elastischen, dichten Verschluß der Schwertkastenöffnung (2) in der eingeklappten (8ʹ) und der ausgeklappten Stellung (8ʺ) des Schwertes (8).
  • Auf der Unterseite der Klemmzone (6) der Deckleiste (5) sind zwei senkrechte Klemmstege (9, 10) mit einem hakenförmigen Querschnitt angeordnet, die beim Einklemmen der Deckleiste (5) in die Trägerleiste (3) hinter die hakenförmig ausgebildeten Schenkel (11, 12) der als U-Profil ausgebildeten Trägerleiste (3) greifen.
  • An den Schenkelenden der Trägerleiste (3) sind schräg nach innen weisende Führungsflächen (13) für entsprechende nach außen gerichtete Gleitflächen (14) an den Klemmstegen (9, 10) der Deckleiste (5) angeordnet, derart, daß beim Einklemmen der Deckleiste (5) in die Trägerleiste (3) die Klemmstege (9, 10) der Deckleiste (5) zunächst nach innen gedrückt werden und dann wieder auffedern und hinter die hakenförmigen Schenkel (11, 12) der Trägerleiste (3) haken.
  • Die Trägerleisten (3), die aus einem harten Kunststoff, z.B. Polyvinylchlorid oder Aluminium bestehen, sind mit dem Schwertkasten verschraubt und außerhalb des Schwertkastens an in das Surfsegelbrett (1) eingeklebten Kunststoffklötzchen (15) festgeschraubt.
  • Bei einer Beschädigung der Dichtlippe (7) kann durch einfaches Lösen des Klemmverschlusses zwischen Deckleiste (5) und Trägerleiste (3) die Deckleiste abgenommen und ausgetauscht werden.
  • In Abänderung des vorbeschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiels können die Trägerleisten (3) an das Unterteil des aus Kunststoff hergestellten Schwertkastens angespritzt werden.

Claims (8)

1. Lippenabdichtung aus Kunststoff, insbesondere für den unteren Abschluß des Schwertkastens eines Surfsegelbrettes, gekennzeichnet durch zwei beidseitig der Schwertkastenöffnung (2) in den Brettkörper (1) eingelassene Trägerleisten (3) sowie zwei mit dem Profil (4) des Unterwasserschiffs abschließende, als Klemmleisten ausgebildete Deckleisten (5) zum Einklemmen in die Trägerleisten (3), wobei die Deckleisten (5) aus einem flachen Strangpreßprofil bestehen, das eine äußere Klemmzone (6) aus einem harten Kunststoff und eine innere, eine Dichtlippe (7) bildende Zone aus elastischem Kunststoff aufweist, und die Dichtlippen (7) einen elastischen Verschluß der Schwertkastenöffnung (2) bilden.

Lippenabdichtung nach Anspruch 1, gekennzeichnet durch zwei auf der Unterseite der Klemmzone (6) der Deckleiste (5) angeordnete senkrechte Klemmstege (9, 10) mit einem hakenförmigen Querschnitt, die beim Einklemmen der Deckleiste (5) in die Trägerleiste (3) hinter die hakenförmig ausgebildeten Schenkel (11, 12) der als U-Profil ausgebildeten Trägerleiste (3) greifen.

Lippenabdichtung nach Anspruch 1 und 2, gekennzeichnet durch an den Schenkelenden des U-Profils der Trägerleiste (3) angeordnete schräg nach innen weisende Führungsflächen (13) für entsprechende nach außen gerichtete Gleitflächen (14) an den Klemmstegen (9, 10) der Deckleiste (5) zum Zusammendrücken der Klemmstege (9, 10) vor dem Verhaken mit den Trägerleistenschenkeln (11, 12) beim Einklemmen der Deckleiste (5) in die Trägerleiste (3).
4. Lippenabdichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, gekennzeichnet durch einen lösbaren Klemmverschluß von Deckleiste (5) und Trägerleiste (3).
5. Lippenabdichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trägerleisten (3) mit dem Schwertkasten verschraubt und außerhalb des Schwertkastens an in den Brettkörper (1) eingebetteten, vorzugsweise eingeklebten Kunststoffklötzchen (15) festgeschraubt sind.
6. Lippenabdichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trägerleisten (3) aus einem harten Kunststoff bestehen.
7. Lippenabdichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Trägerleisten (3) an das Unterteil des aus Kunststoff hergestellten Schwertkastens angeformt, vorzugsweise angespritzt sind.
8. Lippenabdichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, gekennzeichnet durch Trägerleisten (3) aus Aluminium.
