Definitions
- the invention relates to a monoski according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a monoski which is convexly bent in the longitudinal and transverse directions. While this ski is only slightly curved in the longitudinal direction, it is relatively convex in the transverse direction. Straight and curved guide and control skids are embedded in the tread. The upper side of the ski is designed as a base.
- a change of direction is achieved with this ski in that the lateral control skids are brought into effect by shifting weight.
- the radius of curvature determines the possible radius of the curve. If the slope is correspondingly soft, the outwardly bent control runners are forced to engage. The result is an undesirable braking torque or an unwanted change of direction. Due to the relatively strong convex transverse curvature of the ski, the leading longitudinal edges of the ski are missing, so that an incline on a slope is very difficult on firm or icy slopes. Due to the lack of a firm connection between the driver and the ski, pressure can only be exerted on the ski as part of the shift in weight, but no pulling action. As a result, the influence on the ski is severely limited and dynamic driving is limited, insofar as the guide and control skids permit this at all.
- the object of the invention is to create a monoski that is easy to handle and yet enables dynamic driving.
- the advantages achieved by the invention are, in particular, that there is no constrained guidance predetermined by defined curve radii, but rather free guidance and turning on the flat or convex surface of the ski without an undesired braking effect in the direction of travel, that only the lateral longitudinal edges of the tread for guidance be used so that the fixed connection between the driver and the ski via the double bond enables full use of the mono-pebble and thus allows dynamic driving, i.e. that the ski is accelerated or decelerated by train in accordance with the skiing requirements or determined by the condition of the slope -, Pressure and / or rotational movement can be fully controlled by the driver and that a metered braking in the direction of travel over the rear edge of the tread is possible by attaching the double bond at the rear.
- the ski 1 shows a monoski 1 in a perspective view.
- the ski is shaped in such a way that the tread 5 (FIG. 2) is more longitudinally bent in the middle than at the two ends 2 and 3.
- the top 6 is shaped accordingly, but this need not be the case .
- the front end 2 of the ski 1 is rounded in a conventional manner.
- the back end is straight.
- the rear narrow side 3a forms a sharp edge with the tread 5. This can be increased.
- Heel clips 8b of a double bond 8 are fastened on the upper side 6 of the ski 1 near the rear end 3.
- the associated clamping heads 8a are arranged at a distance corresponding to the size of the driver's shoes.
- the tread 5 is convexly bent transversely to the longitudinal direction, as shown in FIG. 2.
- the outer edges of the tread 5 are straight.
- Steel edges 7 are embedded in the running surface 5 for edge reinforcement over this length.
- the steel edges 7 are flush with the long sides 4 of the ski 1. Due to the double convex tread 5, the ski 1 lies on it - provided that there is a fixed contact surface in each tilt and side position with only a very small proportion of the surface.
- the frictional forces that can hinder turning, drifting and swinging are correspondingly low. This situation can e.g. be on a stuck slope. But even on softer ground or in deep snow, the frictional pressure will essentially be limited to a relatively small area of the tread 5, so that the ski 1 remains easy to direct.
- 3a to 3c show a schematic representation of a skier 10 on a monoski 1 according to FIG. 1 in a side view.
- 3a shows the driver 10 in a basic position, in which the ski 1 rests on the ground 11 in the region of the rear third.
- the ski rolls due to the convex cross-sectional shape of the tread 5 (FIG. 2) into one or the other side position in which the steel edges 7 are used, which then take over guiding functions. This is the only way to enable an inclined travel compared to drifting.
- 3b shows the driver 10 in a template in which the center of gravity of the body lies above the center of the ski 1. The ski 1 tilts forward so that it now rests in the middle on the ground 11 as shown.
- the ski 1 In this position, the ski 1 can be turned very easily while driving. A slight angular momentum makes swinging possible without any problems.
- the convex shape of the tread 5 makes drifting easier and the possibility of the ski 1 tilting is almost ruled out.
- 3c shows braking in the direction of travel. This is easily achieved by simply shifting your weight. By shifting the center of gravity, the ski 1 is raised at the front and at the same time the rear end 3 of the ski 1 is pressed down. The rear edge of the tread 5 inclined to the ground 11 acts as a braking edge under the weight load.

Description
