- low-floor wagons are almost exclusively used, onto which the trucks drive up and down lengthwise at the exit and end stations. Since the regular cross-section of the railroad must be adhered to, the wagons must be built very low, otherwise the bogies or undercarriages will be too high and the length of the wagon will no longer be passable. This in turn means that the bogie or undercarriage wheels can only be made with a reduced diameter. These small wheel diameters increase the risk of derailment and force lower transport speeds. In the case of a low-loader wagon, it is already known (FR-A 1 472 098) to place a low-loader bridge directly on the bogies and to build platforms that can be driven on.
