Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kopfkissen nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
  • Ein Kopfkissen dieser Art ist aus der US-A-3,924,283 bekannt, wobei ein im Querschnitt I-förmiger Formkern vorgesehen ist. Die auf beiden Seiten dieses Formkerns ausgebildete Ausnehmung mit Füllmaterial erstreckt sich über die gesamte Breite des Kissens, wobei die Polsterung zwischen Formkern und Hülle offensichtlich aus dem gleichen Material besteht wie das Füllmaterial in den Ausnehmungen des Formkerns. Sinn und Zweck dieses bekannten Kissens ist, eine Nackenstütze auszubilden, wobei das Füllmaterial in den Ausnehmungen des Formkerns eine kuhlenförmige Vertiefung für den Kopf bilden soll.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Kopfkissen der eingangs angegebenen Art so auszbilden, daß sowohl in der Seiten- als auch in der Rückenlage ein ausreichender Stützeffekt vorhanden ist und die Abstützung dennoch in beiden Stellungen bequem ist.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmale im Kennzeichen des Anspruchs 1 gelöst. Die kreuzförmige Ausgestaltung der Ausnehmung in der Mitte des Formkerns gewährleistet in der Rückenlage eine günstige Kopfstellung zur Entspannung der Hals- und Rückenpartie durch den in Richtung der Körperlängsachse verlaufenden Schenkel der Ausnehmung, während in der Seitenlage der empfindliche Ohrbereich durch den sich quer erstreckenden Schenkel der Ausnehmung weich aufliegt. Durch die progressive Elastizität des Füllmaterials in der Ausnehmung hat auch dieser Bereich eine ausgeprägte Stützfunktion. Insgesamt wird durch dieses Ausgestaltung sowohl in der Seiten- als auch in der Rückenlage ein guter Stützeffekt erzielt, wobei durch die Ausgestaltung des Füllmaterials in der Ausnehmung im Verhältnis zu dem umgebenden Formkern eine bequeme Auflage des Kopfes in beiden Stellungen gewährleistet wird.
  • Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den weiteren Ansprüchen angegeben.
  • Eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform der Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es zeigen

  • In Fig. 1 ist mit 1 ein Formkern von beispielsweise rechteckiger Grundrißform bezeichnet, der aus Schaumstoff, Latex oder Fasern mit Stützelastizität besteht, so daß der Formkern bis zu einer bestimmten Druckbelastung seine Form beibehält und bei Überschreiten dieser Druckbelastung nachgibt. Der Formkern 1 ist in der Mitte mit einer krenzförmigen Ausnehmung 2 versehen.
  • Der Formkern ist von einem nicht näher dargestellten weichen Polster-Füllmaterial 3 umgeben, das wiederum von einer Hülle 4 umschlossen ist. Das weiche Füllmaterial 3 kann aus Fasern, Federn oder auch weicherem Schaumstoff oder Latex bestehen, um einen guten Liegekomfort zur gewährleisten. Die Hülle 4 besteht aus einem gewebten oder mit Faservlies gesteppten Bezugstoff. Vorzugsweise werden etwa senkrecht zu den Auflageflächen verlaufende Seitenteile 5 der Hülle 4 vorgesehen, um ein zu starkes Zusammendrücken der Füllung an den Rändern des Kissens zu vermeiden.
  • Wie Fig. 2 zeigt, kann die Hinterhauptspitze bei Rückenlage in dem Bereich der Ausnehmung 2 tiefer einsinken, während in der Seitenlage des Kopfes dieser rillenförmige Bereich durch den Kopf überbrückt und der empfindliche Ohrbereich in der Ausnehmung 2 sanft gelagert wird. Dadurch ergibt sich in der Rückenlage bei bequemer Auflage des Kopfes eine weiter abgesenkte Stellung des Kopfes als in der Seitenlage, wodurch eine Entspannung der Hals- und Rückenpartie erreicht wird. In der Seitenlage wird der Kopf durch die dickeren Seitenteile des Formkerns 1 höher abgestützt, wie dies in der Seitenlage an sich erforderlich ist und als bequem empfunden wird.
  • Die Ausnehmung 2 kann mit dem den Formkern 1 umgebenden Füllmaterial 3 aufgefüllt sein oder mit einem gesonderten Füllmaterial versehen werden, das weich ist und eine progressive Elastizität aufweist, so daß bei stärker werdender Kompression die Elastizität zunimmt. Damit wird die fein strukturierte Ohrmuschel nicht erst bei Überschreitung eines bestimmten Schwellendruckes abgestützt. Anstelle von Schaumstoff kann der Formkern 1 auch aus Faseroder Haarplatten aufgebaut sein, wobei beispielsweise 150 g Schafschurwolle in einer Größe von 40 x 25 cm ausgebildet werden. Durch Zick-Zack-Nähte oder Karo-Stepp wird die Schurwolle verdichtet, beispielweise auf eine Höhe von 1,5 cm. Dabei kann eine obere und untere Stoffbegrenzung vorgesehen werden. Auf eine solche Schafschurwollplatte können Seitenplatten in der Größe von 15 x 25 cm und gleicher Höhe aufgenäht werden, so daß in der Mitte die Ausnehmung 2 freibleibt. Die Hülle 4 kann beispielsweise mit Feder/Daunen oder Schafschurwolle-Schlafkugeln aufgefüllt werden.
  • Der Formkern 1 besteht z.B. aus Schaumstoff mit Stützelastizität, wobei die Ausnehmung 2 kreuzförmig in der Mitte des rechteckigen Formkerns ausgebildet ist und sich über die Höhen- bzw. Dickenabmessung des Formkerns 1 erstreckt, wie durch gestrichelte Linien angedeutet ist. Der stützelastische Formkern 1, der bis zu einer bestimmten Druckbelastung seine Form beibehält und erst bei Überschreiten dieser Druckbelastung in stärkerem Umfang nachgibt, gewährleistet eine hohe Dauerqualität. Die kreuzförmige Ausnehmung ist mit einem Material gefüllt, das weich ist und eine progressive Elastizität hat, d.h. dieses Material gibt bei Druckbeaufschlagung sofort nach, wird aber umso elastischer, je stärker es komprimiert wird. Bei stärkerer Kompression setzt dieses an sich weiche Material einer Druckkraft einen stärkeren Widerstand entgegen als bei geringerer Kompression.
  • Die Kreuzform der Ausnehmung 2 hat eine Führungsfunktion für den Kopf. Wie Fig. 2 zeigt, sinkt bei Rückenlage die Hinterhauptspitze tiefer in das Kissen ein, so daß der Hals-und Rückenbereich entspannt wird, während in der Seitenlage des Kopfes dieser von dem Formkern 1 in einer höheren Stellung als in der Rückenlage abgestützt wird, weil der Kopf beiderseits des Ohres auf den Formkern 1 zu liegen kommt, der bei Aufliegen des Kopfes sein Form noch nicht wesentlich verändert. Der empfindliche Ohrbereich liegt dabei im Bereich der mit weichem Füllmaterial versehenen Ausnehmung 2. Zur Unterstützung dieses Effektes kann die Höhen- bzw. Dickenabmessung des weichen Füllmaterials in der Ausnehmung 2, die ein Liegezentrum bildet, geringer sein als die Dicke des Formkerns 1. Dabei wird der Kopf in der Rückenlage auf einer geringeren Höhe abgestützt als in der Seitenlage.
  • Je nach Alter, Gewicht, Größe und Geschlecht können unterschiedliche Abstütz- bzw. Kissenhöhen vorgesehen werden. Die Stützelastizität des Formkerns 1 enspricht z.B. dem Härtegrad von Polyäther-Schaumsoff MA 2520.
  • Die Größe des Formkerns 1 beträgt beispielsweise 30 x 50 cm bei einer Höhe von 2-12 cm, wobei der kreuzförmige Ausschnitt 2 eine maximale Abmessung von 30 cm und eine Stegbreite von z.B. 8 bis 12 cm hat.
  • Bei der dargestellten Ausführungsform wird durch den rahmenförmigen Formkern 1 das in der Mitte eingeschlossene weichere Füllmaterial in der Ausnehmung 2 gegenüber einem Ausweichen nach der Seite abgestützt. Durch die Ausnehmung im Formkern 1 kann das für die Abstützung des Kopfes in der Rückenlage günstigste Füllmaterial in dieser Ausnehmung vorgesehen werden, während der steifere, elastische Formkernrahmen bei hohem Liegekomfort für den empfindlichen Ohrbereich den Kopf in der für die Seitenlage höheren Stellung abstützt. Anstelle von Schaumstoff für den Formkern 1 kann auch Latex oder ein anderes elastisches Material verwendet werden, das einerseits eine gute Stütz- bzw. Haltewirkung hat und andererseits ausreichend weich ist, daß es als Kissenfüllmaterial verwendet werden kann.
  • Als Füllmaterial für die Ausnehmung kann beispielweise Polyesterfaser, Wolle oder Mischungen verwendet werden. Ebenso können Federn oder Schaumstoffflocken als Füllmaterial vorgesehen werden. Vorzugsweise wird das Füllmaterial in der Ausnehmung 2 in einer Hülle eingenäht und in dieser Form in die Ausnehmung 2 eingebracht, damit es auch bei längerem Gebrauch seine vorbestimmte Lage beibehält. Die Elastizität des Füllmaterials kann durch die Dichte der Füllung variiert werden. Durch das Einbringen des Füllmaterials in einzelnen Hüllen in die Ausnehmung 2 ist es auch möglich, beispielsweise die Füllung der Seitenarme der Ausnehmung 2 für die Ohrauflage weicher zu gestalten als den senkrecht dazu verlaufenden Mittelsteg. Es ist auch möglich, in der Ausnehmung 2 ein in entsprechender Form ausgestanztes Schaumstoffstück einzlegen, das eine progressive Elastizität aufweist und weicher ist als der Formkern 1 mit Stützelastizität.
  • Bei der Ausführungsform nach Fig. 3 sind in dem Formkern 1 über dessen Dickenabmessung durchgehende Luftkanäle 6 für eine gesundes Kissenklima ausgebildet, die über die Fläche des Formkerns 1 verteilt sind. In der Ausnehmung 2 ist eine Füllung mit geringerer Dickenabmessung als der Formkern 1 aus einer z.B. Naturlatex-Mischung eingesetzt, die mit atmungsaktiven Luftkanälen 7 versehen ist. Der Formkern 1 ist von einem dicken, weichen Polstermantel 3 wie beispielsweise Schafschurwolle umgeben, wobei der Formkern 1 selbst von einem Vlies umschlossen sein kann, auf dessen Außenseite der Polstermantel angebracht ist. Der gesamte Aufbau ist von der Hülle 4 umgeben, die senkrecht zu den Auflageflächen angeordnete Seitenteile 5 aufweist, so daß sich eine Form des Kissens ergibt, dessen Höhe individuell angepaßt werden kann. Das Füllmaterial bzw. der Polstermantel 3 kann am Formkern 1 oder an der Hülle 4 fixiert werden, so daß der Formkern 1 in seiner Stellung innerhalb der Hülle 4 gehalten wird.
  • Die Füllung in der Ausnehmung 2 kann die gleiche Höhenabmessung haben, wie der umgebende Formkern 1.
  • Der Polstermantel 3 wird beispielsweise mittels Karostepp einerseits mit der Hülle 4 und andererseits zur Innenbegrenzung mit einem Steppträger (nicht dargestellt) vernäht. Die so gebildete Umhüllung des Formkerns 1 wird auf mittlerer Kissenhöhe bzw. auf mittlerer Höhe der Seitenteile 5 zusammengenäht und mit einem entsprechend langen, längs dieser Mittellinie verlaufenden Reißverschluß versehen. Auf diese Weise wird in der Umhüllung aus Polstermantel 3 und Hülle 4 ein Fach gebildet, in das der Formkern 1 eingeschoben werden kann. Zum Waschen des Polstermantels kann nach Öffnen des Reißverschlusses der Formkern 1 herausgenommen werden.

Claims (4)

  1. Kopfkissen mit einer Hülle und einer Füllung, die einen Formkern aufweist, wobei der Formkern (1) aus einem elastischen Material mit Stützelastizität gebildet ist und mit einer in dem Formkern (1) ausgebildeten Ausnehmung (2), die mit einem weichen Füllmaterial gefüllt ist, versehen ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Ausnehmung (2) in der Mitte des Formkerns (1) kreuzförmig ausgebildet und von dem Formkern rahmenförmig umgeben ist, und daß das weichelastische Füllmaterial in der Ausnehmung (2) eine progressive Elastizität aufweist.
  2. Kopfkissen nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß das Füllmaterial in der Ausnehmung (2) eine geringere Höhenabmessung aufweist als der diese umgebende Formkern (1).
  3. Kopfkissen nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß zwischen Formkern (1) und Hülle (4) ein Polstermaterial (3) den Formkern umgibt.
