Abstract

Die Topfzwirnspindel dient der Zwirnung von einem oder mehreren Garnen oder Fäden, die einzeln oder gefacht auf Spulen aufgewunden sind. Die Topfzwirnspindel besteht aus einem rotierend antreibbaren Zwirntopf (1), in dessen Innenraum ein mittig vom Boden ausgehender Spulenaufnahme­ dorn (2) angeordnet ist, und einem Zwirntopfdeckel, der an der Oberseite ein mittig angeordnetes Drallbegrenzungs­ teil (11) trägt. Die Spule oder die Spulen (5, 5′, 5″) ist bzw. sind auf den Spulenaufnahmedorn (2) leicht rollend drehbar aufgesetzt. In der Topfwand (1) sind in der Mitte der Spule oder der Spulen (5, 5′, 5″) Führungen (7, 7′, 7″; 17, 18; 28, 30) angeordnet, durch welche die Garne oder Fäden (9, 9′, 9″) nach oben zu dem Drallbegrenzungsteil (11) und weiter zur Abzieh- bzw. Aufspuleinrichtung geführt sind. Zur sicheren Mitnahme der in den Zwirntopf (1) eingelegten Spule bzw. Spulen (5, 5′, 5″), insbesondere beim An- und Auslauf der Topfzwirnspindel sind Brems- bzw. Kupplungs­ vorrichtungen in der Topfzwirnspindel vorgesehen, insbe­ sondere solche, die sich durch Fliehkraft beim Erreichen höhrerer Spindeldrehzahlen lösen.
