Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wing lock for windows, doors or the like.
  • a wing lock for windows, doors or the like.
  • a longitudinally guided drive rod in particular riveted, locking pins, the circumferential surface of which has different distances from the axis of rotation at different circumferential locations, in particular is designed eccentrically for this purpose, which is provided with tool interventions and have a tight casing made of wear-resistant plastic, for example polyamide or polycarbonate, on their shaft protruding beyond the end face of the faceplate.
  • Such wing locks are already known from DE-OS 27 51 813.
  • the locking pins allow a particularly smooth interaction with the locking bars of the frame-side locking plates because of their plastic sheathing.
  • FR-A7- 2 403 720 discloses a wing lock for windows, doors or the like, which has stiffly rotatably fastened, in particular riveted, locking pins to a longitudinally guided drive rod.
  • Their shaft part which projects beyond the end face of the faceplate and forms the actual locking piece, has a peripheral surface which has different distances from the axis of rotation at different peripheral points, namely is designed eccentrically to this.
  • the locking pin is also provided with a tool engagement.
  • the approach of the locking pin which extends through the longitudinal slot in the faceplate, interacts with a sheathing that is only longitudinally displaceable - that is, non-rotatable - between the longitudinal edges of the longitudinal slot with parallel longitudinal edges.
  • the approach of the locking pin passes through the casing and its support collar, which rests on the end face of the faceplate, so as to be rotatably adjustable.
  • the wing closure according to FR-A7- 2 404 720 therefore belongs to a genus that deviates from DE-A1-27 51 813.
  • the wing closure according to AT-B-371 886 has no significant points of contact with the wing closure according to DE-A1-27 51 813, because there the sheath for the shaft is formed by a plug head which is detachably connected to the shaft in a snap-lock manner Plate is held.
  • Bolt pins are used here, in which not only the plug head forming the casing for the shaft projecting beyond the end face of the faceplate has an oval outline shape. Rather, it also carries the shaft riveted to the drive rod in one piece, a collar or a plate whose outline shape corresponds exactly to the oval outline shape of the plug head.
  • the shaft of the locking pin forms a relatively complex shaped metal part, which can only be produced as a machine turned part from a prefabricated, oval-limited and with oppositely molded edge grooves, if it does not even have to be manufactured as a very expensive extruded part.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a wing lock for windows, doors or the like.
  • Initially highlighted type in which the locking pins not only receive relatively large support systems on the end face of the faceplate containing the guide longitudinal slots next to their longitudinal edges, but also immediately an exact Adjust the basic setting position relative to the drive rods after the fastening process has been completed.
  • the casing has an approximately cylindrical circumferential shape at its upper longitudinal section and is integrally formed on or near its end adjacent to the fastening point on the drive rod, a collar or a plate which or which protrudes beyond the circumferential surfaces of the locking pin which are in operative connection with the locking frame-side locking plates and is provided with two mutually parallel boundary edges, the side surfaces of which have a smaller spacing from one another than the side surfaces of their other boundary edges.
  • the collar or the plate not only advantageously increases the support surface between the locking pin and the faceplate end face, because it projects beyond the circumferential surfaces of the locking pin that come into active connection with the locking plate-side locking plates, but also through the two boundary edges that are parallel to one another in some areas each individual locking pin for the assembly process can be securely gripped by a holding and adjusting tool.
  • the side surfaces of the two mutually parallel boundary edges on the collar or on the plate also offer the possibility of using an open-ended wrench or the like for the purpose of eccentric adjustment of the locking pins relative to the drive rod carrying them.
  • a further development feature according to the invention also consists in the fact that the two parallel boundary edges of the collar or the plate extend parallel to the direction of eccentricity of the locking pin, so that from the relative position of the collar or the plate on the end face of the faceplate on the wing lock also the position of the eccentricity of the locking pin is easily recognizable.
  • the collar or the plate has a rectangular circumferential boundary and the boundary edges of which are the smallest distance apart are parallel to the direction of eccentricity of the locking pin.
  • This configuration of the federal government or the plate advantageously makes it possible to use two different pairs of parallel boundary edges on the one hand for feeding the individual locking pins into the mounting device and on the other hand for capturing them by the mounting device during the assembly process of the locking pins on the wing lock.
  • a neck made of plastic material adjoins the underside of the collar or plate in one piece, the length of which is adapted to the thickness of the cuff rail used to guide the locking pin, and which engages in a longitudinal guide slot of the faceplate. This also significantly improves the sliding and guiding properties for the individual locking pins.
  • the shaft part of the locking pin that carries the plastic casing has a head part that is thickened like a block, preferably with chamfered peripheral edges.
  • a portion of a flat-rectangular cross-section faceplate 1 of a wing lock for windows, doors or the like can be seen, which is provided on its longitudinal center with a punched elongated hole 2.
  • a drive rod 3 which is likewise flat in cross-section, is guided longitudinally, to which a locking pin 5 is attached, which extends through the slot 2 in the faceplate 1 upwards.
  • the locking pin 5 is fastened in a hole 8 of the drive rod 3 with the aid of an extension 7, which is formed axially parallel but eccentrically to its longitudinal axis 6-6, and is riveted or caulked so that it is difficult to turn, as can be clearly seen in FIG. 2.
  • Fig. 2 further shows that the locking pin 5 leads above its shoulder 7 with a neck 9 on the longitudinal walls of the elongated hole 2 of the faceplate 1 and on its shaft 10 projecting over the end face of the faceplate 1 with a casing 11 made of wear-resistant plastic, for example Polyamide or polycarbonate is provided.
  • a casing 11 made of wear-resistant plastic, for example Polyamide or polycarbonate is provided.
  • the shaft part 10 of the locking pin 5 forms a block-like thickened head part, which is preferably provided with chamfered peripheral edges, and around which the plastic casing 11 is formed, for example by an injection molding process.
  • the end section adjacent to the fastening point of the locking pin 5 on the drive rod 3 is designed as an integrally molded collar or integrally molded plate 11b, which is provided with two mutually parallel boundary edges 12a , each of which has side surfaces 13 lying parallel to the longitudinal axis 6-6 of the locking pin 5.
  • the distance 14 between these side surfaces 13 is dimensioned smaller than the distance 15 between the other boundary edges 12b of the collar or the plate 11b, as can be clearly seen in FIG. 3.
  • the collar or the plate 11b has, for example, a rectangular circumferential boundary with rounded corners, the two parallel boundary edges 12a or the adjoining side surfaces 13 also extending parallel to the direction of eccentricity 16 of the locking pin 5.
  • the collar or plate 11b not only forms a relatively large support surface for the locking pin on the outer end face of the faceplate 1, laterally outside the longitudinal edges 2a of the elongated hole 2. Rather, the collar or plate 11b can also be used as an alignment element for the locking pin 5 serve when connecting it to the drive rod 3.
  • the side surfaces 13 assigned to the parallel boundary edges 12a can namely be use to capture and hold the locking pin 5 while performing the riveting process, so that all locking pins 5 can be riveted to the drive rod 3 with the same orientation of their eccentricity 16.
  • the boundary edges 12b on the other hand, can be used for the aligned introduction of the individual locking pins 5 into the area of the riveting device.
  • the collar or the plate 11b as an actuation attack for an open-end wrench if an eccentric adjustment of the locking pin 5 proves necessary.
  • the spanner can also be brought into engagement with the side surfaces 13 of the boundary edges 12a.
  • a neck 17 made of plastic material is connected integrally to the underside of the collar or plate 11b concentrically to the longitudinal axis 6-6 of the shaft part 10, the length of which is adapted to the thickness of the faceplate 1.
  • This neck 17 forms the guide section 9 of the locking pin 5, which cooperates with the side surfaces of the elongated hole 2 on its longitudinal edges 2a to reduce friction.
  • the length of the neck 17 is preferably dimensioned such that a certain amount of play between the underside of the collar or the plate 11b and the outer end face of the faceplate 1 is retained when the locking pin 5 has been riveted to the drive rod 3.
  • the pressed onto the drive rod 3 ring end surface 17a of the neck 17 also acts like a friction brake
