Definitions

  • the invention relates to a collecting container for liquids, in particular waste water, faeces or the like, with a device for emptying the container, such as a pump unit formed from an electric motor and a pump coupled therewith, which can be lowered into the container and with its pressure line in the lowered operating position a stationary delivery line can be connected to the field.

  • the smallest possible height is important if the device is to be suitable as an underfloor device.
  • the pump units used for emptying the container are therefore usually designed as structural units which can be immersed in the conveying medium in the collecting container. If maintenance or repair work is required, the pump unit must be lifted out of the container and cleaned before starting the actual maintenance or repair work, which is not only time-consuming but also generally not very pleasant.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of creating a collection container equipped with a particularly automatically operating emptying device, such as is used, for example, in sewage or sewage lifting systems, which primarily does not have the above-mentioned defects and difficulties and also in a so-called dry installation of the pump set without special shut-off elements for the suction and pressure lines of the pump, the pump set needs to be lifted out of the container for maintenance or repair purposes.

  • training is advantageous in which the discharge port through the protective housing and thus at the same time the inlet of the delivery line is in the upper region of both the protective housing and the collecting container, so that the connection fittings at the delivery line inlet generally remain above the liquid level and therefore not only more easily accessible for assembly and maintenance work but also less exposed to corrosion.
  • the collecting container and protective housing can be provided with, in particular, molded, but possibly also attached guides, which bring about the alignment of the protective housing during the lowering into the collecting container and thereby favor the coupling of the connecting piece of the pump to the inlet of the delivery line.

  • This delivery line into which a check valve 171 is connected, protrudes through the container wall 11 so far into the interior of the container that the connecting piece 161 can be coupled to the delivery line inlet 162.
  • the suction opening 144 of the pump is inserted tightly into a receptacle 131 of the protective housing 13 which is adapted to the suction nozzle, and the protective housing 13 has an opening 132 at this point, through which the suction opening 144 of the pump communicates with the interior of the collecting container stands.
  • the protective housing 13 with the built-in pump unit 14 can be lifted out of this, even with a heavily filled collecting container, without requiring any shut-off elements for suction or pressure lines connected to the pump unit.
  • guides 111 are provided in the area of the collecting container opening, which cooperate with the wall of the protective housing 13 directly or with molded guides 133 and promote the engagement of the coupling elements 161, 162.

Abstract
