Definitions
- the present invention relates to an undercarriage of a heavy-duty vehicle, in particular a multi-axle mobile crane according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such mobile cranes are usually provided with two more or less equally long double box supports; seen in the direction of travel a front and a rear support pair.
- the rear pair of double box supports forms the rear of the mobile crane and is always located behind the last rear axle of the undercarriage.
- the front pair of double box supports is always between the slewing ring and the foremost front axle of the undercarriage.
- the front support is at least the distance from the slewing ring that corresponds to the distance of the rearmost support from the slewing ring.
- the two pairs of supports each of approximately the same length, form a 4-point support whose connecting lines, also known as tilting edges, delimit at least one square, but mostly a rectangular support surface, which partly determine the load-bearing capacity or the tipping over of the crane.
- a rectangular support surface With a rectangular support surface, the longer side runs parallel to the vehicle's longitudinal axis.
- the load capacity is determined by the shortest distance from the center of the slewing ring to the intersection of the lateral connecting lines (tilting edges) running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. This distance is equal to the radius of the circle from the center of the slewing ring, on which all support points are ideally located.
- Such a 4-point support is known from DE-A-1 756 144, for example. It has major disadvantages because, in the best case, the circle has four points of contact with a square support surface. In the case of a rectangular contact surface, there are only two points of contact that lead to poor utilization.
- undercarriage constructions of the type mentioned at the outset which have three support pairs distributed over the entire length of the undercarriage. They have a trapezoidal support surface from the middle to the rear support and a geometrically identical or similar support surface between the middle and the front support. Accordingly, there are two single trapezoidal supports, which are limited by two separate medium-sized simple box supports, as are known, for example, from the brochure from AGIS MECCANICA S.P.A., Milano, regarding their Ag 18/6 mobile crane. They have essentially the same disadvantages as the 4-point supports, but in comparison to these lead to even heavier undercarriages.
- the present invention has for its object to provide an undercarriage of the type described above, which avoids the disadvantages of the known constructions and which has as large a support surface as possible, which is arranged around the center of the slewing ring and in which the maneuvering of heavy loads to be lifted onto the The center of the slewing ring is not adversely affected by supports, and its unladen weight is to be kept as small as possible by optimal construction of the supports.
- the present invention accordingly uses three pairs of supports, the middle in the direction of travel lying directly in front of the slewing ring and designed as a double box support and having the largest support width, which defines the radius for the circle on which further support points have to lie. This radius corresponds to the distance from the center of the slewing ring to the center of a vertical cylinder of the middle support.
- the centers of the vertical cylinders of the rear pair of supports at the rear of the undercarriage lie on the circle mentioned.
- a simple box construction is advantageously used as the rear support, in which the support supports, when fully retracted, can touch in the middle in the common housing.
- Ejecting the two short support beams can e.g. B. happen with only one telescopic cylinder.
- this rear support corresponds to one third of the rear double box supports normally used.
- the centers of the vertical cylinders of the front support pair also lie on the circle mentioned.
- This support consists of only two vertical cylinders, so it cannot be extended transversely to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle like the middle and rear supports. Since the undercarriage part does not have to transmit any large bending and torsional forces originating from the load lifting device, this part can be constructed much narrower, lighter and more cost-effectively than is the case with earlier designs.
- the narrow front section allows the front axles to be turned to a greater extent, making the prescribed turning circles easier to achieve.
- the front and middle supports offer the big advantage, with heavy loads on trucks or deep-seaters very close to the front part of the undercarriage, drive past the non-protruding front support and to the middle support in order to handle these loads as close as possible to the slewing ring. This is not possible with the known 4-point supports with double box supports described above.
- the undercarriage Due to the large weight saving in the front undercarriage part and the use of a rear single box support instead of the usual double box support, the undercarriage is much lighter and cheaper with almost the same load capacity on the load lifting device, compared to the known undercarriage with 4-point supports.
- the middle pair of supports 1 is designed as a double box support for the largest support width a and, viewed in the direction of travel, lies between the foremost rear axle 7 and the rearmost front axle 8 directly in front of the turntable 6, which is intended for receiving the load lifting device 5.
- the smallest distance c of the central wall 9 of the double box support 1 running transversely to the longitudinal axis X of the vehicle and the center A of the slewing ring 6 corresponds at least to the single and at most twice the radius of the roller bearing 6a.
- the support width a of the middle support 1 is at least 1.66 times larger than the width b of the rear support 2.
- the rear simple box support 2 At the rear of the undercarriage 4 is the rear simple box support 2, the two support supports 17 of which, when fully retracted, can touch in the common housing in the middle at the theoretical longitudinal axis X.
- the middle and rear support 1, respectively. 2 are each telescopic supports, the telescopic mechanism is not shown.
- the front support 3 lies at least in front of the rearmost front axle 8 and consists only of a pair of vertical cylinders 11 and 12 which are fitted within the width of the undercarriage.
- the distance between the two vertical cylinders 11 and 12 to the center A of the slewing ring 6 is equal to the radius of the circle 10, which at least through the center of a vertical cylinder 13 of the extended middle and through the two centers of the vertical cylinders 14 and 15 of the rear support 1, respectively. 2 leads.
- the center of one of the two vertical cylinders of the middle support 1 lies directly inside or outside the circle 10, but is considered to lie on the circle 10 for the load capacity calculation on the load lifting device.
- the rear support 2 transmits at least the same bending and torsional forces as the middle support.
- the otherwise usual rear double box support which is at least three times heavier and more expensive than a single box support, is avoided.
- the front support 2 transmits at least the same bending and torsional forces as the middle support 1, already in front of the rearmost front axle 8, and allows the undercarriage part 4a in front of it to be at least around to make half the width of the support beam 17 of the rear support 2 narrower, lighter and less expensive than the undercarriage part 4b between the front and the rear support 3, respectively.
- the narrower undercarriage part 4a allows a larger wheel lock 18 for the remaining front axles 16.
- the prescribed turning circles on mobile cranes are achieved more easily than before and the maneuverability of the mobile crane is significantly increased.
- the front support 3 cannot be telescoped transversely to the longitudinal axis X like the middle 1 and rear 2, because in this undercarriage area the engine, transmission and drive train normally make the installation, e.g. B. a double box support not allow.
- Fig. 2 shows that the outer connecting lines, also called tilting edges, from the middle to the front support 1 or. 3 a small and from the middle to the rear support 1 resp. 3 limit a large trapezoid. It is therefore a double trapezoidal support.
- the driver's cabin 19 on the undercarriage 4 shows the direction of travel.
