Description

The invention relates to a ski boot according to the preamble of claim 1.

A ski boot with the features according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from EP-A-0 053 340. In this ski boot, two pulling elements lead from the shell tongue via deflection points formed by the pivot joint axes of the spoiler to a latching adjustment mechanism provided on the rear of the spoiler. The shell tongue is coupled to the spoiler via these tension elements in such a way that a pivoting movement of the spoiler inevitably brings about a corresponding pivoting movement of the shell tongue. The force with which the shell tongue is pulled backwards when the ski boot is closed can be adjusted using the locking mechanism.

From DE-B-2 231 221 a ski boot is also known in which the swiveling shell tongue carries a central lock with which two drawstrings which run obliquely downward from the upper instep area to the heel area can be connected. To close the ski boot, hooks on the pull tabs of the central lock must be brought into engagement with slots on the free ends of the drawstrings. In a corresponding manner, when the ski boot is removed, it is necessary to first unhook the hooks of the pull tabs of the central lock from the slots in the drawstrings after opening the central lock.

The invention has for its object to develop a ski boot according to the preamble of the claim that - while ensuring a comfortable rear entry and a pressure-free, firm seat of the heel in the inner shoe and an expansion option for the foot especially in the instep area - the practical handling of the ski shoe is further facilitated when putting on and taking off.

This object is achieved by the characterizing feature of claim 1.

Due to the fixed connection of the tension element with the central lock carried by the tongue of the ski boot according to the invention, there is no need to hook the tension element into the central lock when putting on the ski boot and to release the pulling element from the central lock when the ski boot is removed.

If the central lock is closed and the traction element is thereby attracted, the heel space narrows, and at the same time a pressure which is adjustable in size is exerted on the instep area of the inner shoe via the shell main body. If the foot swells slightly during sporting activities, the user can give the foot more leeway by partially relaxing the central lock.

The ski boot shown in Fig. 1 consists essentially of a shell 1 made of rigid plastic and an inner boot 2 made of elastically deformable material.

The shell 1 contains a shell main body 3, a shell tongue 4 pivotably articulated in the front region of the shell main body and a spoiler 5 pivotably articulated in the heel region of the shell main body 3.

The shell tongue 4 carries in its central region a central lock 6 which interacts with two tension elements guided to the heel region of the shell main body 3, which will be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 2 to 4. In the upper area of the tongue 4 and spoiler 5 there is also a shaft closure 7, of which only the tab can be seen in FIG. 1.

The spoiler 5 is pivotally mounted on the shell main body 3 via two swivel joint axes 8, 9. These swivel joint axes 8 and 9 also form the deflection points for the element or elements which connect the central closure 6 to the heel region of the shell main body 3.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, a single pull cable 10 formed by steel wire is provided as the pulling element, which pulls from the central lock 6 (not illustrated in FIG. 2) through a first opening 11 in the shell main body 3 to a first deflection point formed by the swivel joint axis 9 Shell main body is guided on one (left) side of the heel area, from here through said opening 11 via the instep part of the shell main body 3 divided by a slot 12 and a second opening 13 in the shell main body to a second deflection point formed by the swivel joint axis 8 in the shell main body is guided on the other (right) side of the heel area and runs from here through the second opening 13 back to the central lock 6. The two ends of the pull rope 10 are fixed with the central lock 6 connected.

Fig. 1 shows in solid lines the ski boot in the open state of central lock 6 and central lock 7. The spoiler 5 can be swung further back if desired. Likewise, the inner shoe 2 can be largely opened, which is explained in detail with reference to FIGS. 7 and 8. When the central lock 6 is open, the shell tongue 4 can be raised upward by a limited angle with respect to the shell main body 3 (this pivoting movement allows the shell tongue 4 to be raised, for example, by a measure of 2 to 6 cm in the region of the central lock 6. In this position, the user can Comfortably step into the ski boot from behind, which is then closed by means of the shaft lock 7 and the central lock 6. The shaft width can be adjusted independently of one another by means of the central lock 6 and the shaft lock 7 and the heel width.

If the central lock 6 is closed and the traction cable 10 is thereby tightened, the heel space narrows, and at the same time an adjustable pressure is exerted on the instep area of the inner shoe 2 via the shell main body 3. Since the slot 12 in the shell main body 3 narrows somewhat when the traction cable 10 is tightened, the inner shoe 2 also experiences a desired lateral support in the region of the forefoot. If the foot of the user swells somewhat during the sporting activity, the user can reduce the pressure exerted on the heel area and the instep area by partially relaxing the central lock 6 and give the foot more leeway after the tensioning part 10 has also relaxed the main shell body 3 opens more in the area of the slot 12. With reference to FIGS. 7 and 8 it will be explained how the design of the inner shoe 2 ensures a good adaptation of the inner shoe to different conditions.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, a single pull cable 10 'is from the (not shown) central lock 6 through a first opening 11' in the shell main body 3 'to a first deflection point in the shell main body 3' formed by the swivel joint axis 9 'on the one (left) Side of the heel area. From here, the pull rope 10 'runs over the instep area of the inner shoe 2 to a second deflection point formed by the swivel joint axis 8' in the shell main body on the other (right) side of the heel area and from here through a second opening 13 'back to the central lock. In this exemplary embodiment, the pressure exerted by part of the tensioned traction cable 10 'thus acts directly on the inner shoe 2. Otherwise, the function corresponds to that of the exemplary embodiment already explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

In the variant according to FIG. 4, a first traction cable 10a leads from the central lock through a first opening 11 of the shell main body 3 to the swivel joint axis 9 and from here through the opening 11 back to the central lock. A second pull rope 10b runs from the central lock through the second opening 13 to the swivel joint axis 8 and from there through the opening 13 back to the central lock. The function corresponds to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2.

In all three variants according to FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, the openings 11, 13 or 11 ', 13' provided in the shell main body 3 or 3 'through which the traction cables 10, 10' or 10a, 10b are passed, covered by the tongue 4 to the outside.

Ein weiterer Vorsprung 3b des Schalenhauptkörpers 3 stützt die Schalenzunge 4 auf der Unterseite ab.5 and 6 illustrate the pivotable articulation of the shell tongue 4 on the shell main body 3. Since the shell tongue 4 should only be pivotable by a limited angle (for example 10 to 25 °) relative to the shell main body 3, the pivot point 14 is designed as a simple bending joint . For this purpose, the shell tongue 4 is provided in the front area with a slot 4a, into which a flat projection 3a of the shell main body 3 engages. Another projection 3b of the shell main body 3 supports the shell tongue 4 on the underside.

The part 4b of the shell tongue 4 located between the projections 3a and 3b is provided with an opening 4c into which a nub-like thickening 3c of the projection 3a engages.

In this way, a flexible joint is created without using a hinge, which allows a limited pivoting movement of the shell tongue 4 relative to the shell main body.

The inner shoe 2 will now be explained in more detail with reference to FIGS. 7 and 8.

It contains a shaft 22 which is provided with two lateral slots 23 which extend from the upper edge of the shaft 22 and end at point 23a below the heel. The middle and upper region 24a of the rear shaft part 24 which runs from top to bottom and is delimited by these two lateral slots 23 can be pivoted rearwards relative to the lower region 24b of the rear shaft part 24 which surrounds the heel, as indicated in FIG. 7 by dashed lines.

In order to facilitate this pivoting movement of the rear shaft part 24 with respect to the front shaft part 25, a flexibly designed gusset 26 connects to the rounded lower end (position 23a) of the two lateral slots 23. In addition, the transition zone 27 between the lower region 24b and the middle and upper region 24a of the rear shaft part 24 is designed to be flexible. This transition zone 27 thus forms, as it were, a swivel joint around which the rear one Shaft part 24 can be pivoted backwards to get into the liner.

The instep section 28 of the inner shoe 2 is designed to be movable to a limited extent in the vertical direction. For this purpose, at least one stretch zone 29 is provided in the area of the instep 28, which extends from the shaft 22 and - following the shoe contour - extends in an arc into the front area 30 of the shoe.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 7, an expansion zone 29 is provided on each side of the instep area 28 of the inner shoe 2. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 7, it is formed by a slot which can open in the manner indicated by a dashed line 29a, so that the instep portion 28 can bulge upwards into the shape illustrated by the dashed line 28a. On the one hand, this considerably facilitates the rear entry into the inner shoe 2, and on the other hand, the instep area 28 can adapt itself ideally to a forefoot swelling during sporting activities.

In the further exemplary embodiment shown in a cross section through the forefoot in FIG. 8, the two expansion zones 29 ', which laterally delimit the instep area 28', are designed as bellows, the foam padding of the inner shoe being omitted in the area of this expansion zone 29 'or in terms of the wall thickness is so far reduced that the expansion zones 29 'have good flexibility. When entering the inner shoe and when the foot swells during use, the instep area 28 'can deform outwards, as indicated by the dashed line 28'a.

In contrast to the exemplary embodiments shown, only a single stretch zone 29 or 29 'can also be provided, which is then expediently arranged in the longitudinal center of the instep part 28 or 28'.

Die Dehnungszone 29 bzw. 29' erhält zweckmäßig eine Bogenlänge von 8 bis 25 cm, vorzugsweise von 14 bis 20 cm.The expansion zone 29 or 29 'expediently has an arc length of 8 to 25 cm, preferably 14 to 20 cm.

Der Abstand der beiden Dehnungszonen 29 bzw. 29' beträgt - über den Umfang der Ristpartie 28 bzw. 28' gemessen - zweckmäßig 5 bis 16 cm, vorzugsweise 8 bis 12 cm.The distance between the two expansion zones 29 and 29 ', measured over the circumference of the instep area 28 and 28', is expediently 5 to 16 cm, preferably 8 to 12 cm.

Die zwei seitlichen Schlitze 23 im Schaft 22 enden zweckmäßig 6 bis 14 cm, vorzugsweise 8 bis 11 cm, oberhalb der Sohle des Innenschuhes 2.The two lateral slots 23 in the shaft 22 expediently end 6 to 14 cm, preferably 8 to 11 cm, above the sole of the inner shoe 2.

The inner boot 2 shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 is particularly suitable for use in the ski boot according to FIGS. 1 to 6, since the design of the rear shaft part 24 and the instep part 28 movable in the vertical direction on the one hand facilitate the rear entry into the ski boot and on the other hand, via the central lock 6 and the pull cables 10, 10 'and 10a, 10b, an ideal adaptation of the instep area of the inner shoe to the user's foot (while ensuring a consistently good heel fit) is made possible. However, it should be emphasized that traditionally designed inner boots (either with a tongue in the instep area or with a continuously shaped instep area) can also be used in the ski boot according to the invention.
