Abstract

A boot shell (10) has a part (46) which overlaps the forefoot and in which a longitudinal opening (48) is situated in the instep region of the foot. This opening is traversed twice in transverse direction by a cable (54) in a meandering arrangement. The cable (54) is anchored on the boot shell (10) with its one end (58) in the region of the boot toe (38) and also guided via deflection elements (60, 62). The cable (54) is a component of a Bowden cable (56) and ends with its other end in a tensioning device (18) arranged on the rear shaft part (12). By means of a rotary knob (16) of the tensioning device (18), the front part of the boot shell (10) can be adapted optimally to the foot of the wearer by pulling together the region (46) overlapping the forefoot. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Skischuh der im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 genannten Art.The invention relates to a ski boot mentioned in the preamble of claim 1.

In a known ski boot of this type, the partial strands of a single pulling cable which first run below the front shaft part are passed through an opening in the front shaft part and then run in the shin area above the front shaft part (DE-A-31 31 555 and corresponding US-A- 4,408,403). Closing the shoe, i.e. the pressing of the front shaft part against the shoe shell is thus coupled via the steel cable with the contraction of the side edges of the longitudinal opening. This removably connects both the width of the opening on the instep side and the cover in the lower rail area to the shaft.

In another known ski boot, the shell and the shaft are made of a hard, rigid material (DE-A-23 41 658). Because of its stiffness, the width of the shoe shell can hardly be changed. The two locking mechanisms of the ski boot shown there serve the same purpose, namely to connect the removable tongue part to the shell and the shaft. However, neither of these two closing mechanisms is used to adjust the width of the shoe shell.

The present invention has for its object to provide a ski boot of the type mentioned that meets the requirements for an easy to use, corresponds better to individual adaptation to the shape of the wearer's foot.

The object is achieved according to the invention by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1.

Since the traction means and their tensioning device are independent of the closing arrangement which connects the front shaft part to the rear shaft part or the shoe shell, the wearer is optimally adjusted in the instep area even when the shoe is already closed enables.

The formation of the locking arrangement according to claims 3 and 4 contributes to a further improvement of the individual adaptation of the shoe to the foot.

In a preferred embodiment according to claim 5, a single rope, sometimes also referred to as a cable, is sufficient to adapt the ski boot to the wearer's foot. This rope can also span the longitudinal opening more than twice in a meandering arrangement via corresponding deflection elements.

In one embodiment according to claim 6, it may be sufficient if each rope spans the opening only once. Such an arrangement also allows particularly good symmetry to be achieved during tensioning.

In an embodiment according to claim 7, the rope is protected up to its place of action. This also means that there is no friction on non-participating shoe parts. In addition, a Bowden cable does not require any deflection elements in the area of its hose or jacket, so that it can be laid freely.

Through a preferred embodiment according to claim 8, the adjustment is carried out not only laterally by contracting the opening edges, but also by a downward pressure movement.

By dividing the front shaft part according to claim 9 and the freedom of movement thereby enabled of the tongue part, the adjustment can be further improved and the boarding easier. Furthermore, this results in the possibility of making the cover part relatively rigid and the tongue part elastic.

In one embodiment according to claim 11, there is a further mobility both when getting into the shoe and when adjusting by the traction means.

An embodiment according to claim 12 brings about an automatic resetting or closing of the tongue part.

In the embodiment according to claim 13 on the one hand a fine adjustment and on the other hand a quick release is possible in order to relax the feet during breaks. The reverse rotation lock can have, for example, a pawl with ratchet wheel or a worm with worm wheel.

Further embodiments according to the invention are specified in claims 2 and 10.

The ski boot shown in FIG. 1 has a shoe shell 10 , a rear shaft part 12 and a front shaft part 14 . Arranged on the rear shaft part 12 , which is essentially rigidly connected to the shoe shell 10 , is a tensioning device 18 having a rotary knob 16 , the function of which is explained from FIG. 3.

The front shaft part 14 is subdivided into an essentially rigid cover part 20 covering the front foot and an at least partially elastic tongue part 22 which is ribbed transversely in the instep and shin region. When the ski boot designed as a "front entry" is closed, an upper buckle 24, arranged in the shin area and attached to the rear shaft part 12, is used for tensioning a tensioning strap 28 and a lower buckle 26 for tensioning a rope or cable 30 . The lower one Buckle 26 is fastened to the shoe shell 10 in the area of the ankle and the rope or cable 30 runs in the transition between the instep and shin area over the front shaft part 14 . The lid part 20 is supported with its edge 32 on a shoulder 34 of the shoe shell 10 and firmly connected to the shoe shell 10 .

Die Führungslaschen 42 ermöglichen eine grosszügige Schwenkbewegung des Zungenteils 22 zum bequemen Einsteigen und gewährleisten eine verkantungsfreie Führung des Zungenteils.2 shows that the tongue part 22 is connected to the cover part 20 via a joint 36 , so that the tongue part 22 can be pivoted against the toe 38 to open the shoe. The joint 36 has a stop tab 40 in its central region and a guide tab 42 on each side. The stop tab 40 not only allows the tongue part 22 to pivot relative to the lid part 20 , but also to move it in the longitudinal direction of the shoe. The guide tabs 42 are provided with circular-arc-shaped elongated holes 44 , in which articulated pins arranged on the tongue part 22 engage, but which are not visible due to the broken-open representation. The guide tabs 42 allow a generous pivoting movement of the tongue part 22 for easy entry and ensure a tilt-free guidance of the tongue part.

Stahlseiles 54 verkleinern. In FIG. 3, regions of the shaft parts 12 and 14 are shown broken away to make parts underneath visible. The shoe shell 10 has a part 46 which overlaps the forefoot and is provided with an opening 48 which extends in the longitudinal direction of the shoe and whose longitudinal edges 50 and 52 are spaced apart from one another. The width of this longitudinal opening 48 can be adjusted by tensioning at least one cable serving as a traction device or reduce the steel cable 54 .

The steel cable 54 belonging to a cable or Bowden cable 56 spans the opening 48 twice in the illustrated embodiment in a meandering arrangement transverse to the longitudinal axis of the shoe. Its end 58 is anchored on one side of the opening 48 in the vicinity of the toe 38 . It is guided over deflection elements 60 and 62 arranged on both sides of the opening 48 .

In the exemplary embodiment, the first deflection element 60 has the shape of a hook serving for lacing, but is wider in order to achieve a distance in the longitudinal direction of the shoe between the two cable sections crossing the opening 48 . Such an arrangement results in a favorable distribution of the tensile force over the length of the opening 48 . The second deflection element 62 can be, for example, a mushroom-shaped pin or a deflection roller. It can also be omitted if the end piece 64 of the Bowden cable hose is fastened accordingly to the shoe shell 10 .

At its other end, the steel cable 54 is anchored in a cable drum (not shown) arranged in the tensioning device 18 . If the tensioning device 18 is now actuated by turning the rotary knob 16 , the steel cable 54 is tensioned in order to optimally adapt the shoe shell 10 in the area of the forefoot to this. Since the part 46 of the shoe shell that overlaps the forefoot is made of an elastic material, a change in the cross section in this area results from the aforementioned adaptation to the foot of the wearer.

Der Bowdenzug 56 weist einen Stahlmantel auf, in dem das Stahlseil 54 geführt ist.4, the end piece 64 of the Bowden cable 56 is arranged on the shoe shell 10 . The deflection element 62 shown in FIG. 3 is therefore omitted. The Bowden cable 56 has a steel jacket in which the steel cable 54 is guided.

Durch eine umfangsseitige strichpunktierte Linie 68 ist die mögliche Querschnittsveränderung des den Vorderfuss übergreifenden Teils 46 der Schuhschale 10 angedeutet.FIG. 5 clearly shows that the opening 48 in the area of the shoe tip 38 has incisions 66 in its corner areas to increase the elasticity. The possible cross-sectional change of the part 46 of the shoe shell 10 which extends across the forefoot is indicated by a dash-dotted line 68 on the circumference.

Dabei sind an diesem jeweils aussen und innen parallel zur Schuhschale 10 Verbindungslaschen 70 vorgesehen, die einerseits an einem Punkt 72 des Zungenteils 22 angreifen und andereseits mit einem Gummifederelement 74 verbunden sind.FIG. 6 shows an embodiment in which a return mechanism for the tongue part 22 is arranged in the region of the front foot between the shoe shell 10 and the cover part 20 . In this case, 10 connecting lugs 70 are provided on the outside and inside parallel to the shoe shell, which on the one hand engage at a point 72 of the tongue part 22 and on the other hand are connected to a rubber spring element 74 .

It can be seen from FIG. 7 that the rubber spring element 74 is endless and wraps around two lugs 76 in the area of the shoe tip 38 . Such an arrangement is used for automatically retrieving and closing the tongue part 22 when it has been opened or pivoted away.

Jeder der Kniehebel 82 ist mit seinen beiden äusseren Enden 86 an den sich jeweils gegenüberliegenden Längsrändern 50, 52 der Öffnung 48 angelenkt.8, the opening 48 is at least partially covered on its inside by a pressure plate 80 on which two toggle levers 82 engage with their knee joints 84 . Each of the toggle levers 82 is with its two outer ones Ends 86 hinged to the respective opposite longitudinal edges 50 , 52 of the opening 48 .

If the longitudinal edges 50, 52 are moved towards one another in the manner described above by means of the wire rope 54 (not shown in FIG. 8) and thus the width of the longitudinal opening 48 is reduced, the pressure plate 80 is moved downward via the downwardly deflecting toggle levers 82 .

Die Fig. 9 zeigt durch gestrichelte Linien die mögliche Querschnittsverengung des Schuhvorderteiles beim Spannen mittels der zuvor beschriebenen Spanneinrichtung sowohl von beiden Seiten wie von oben her.9 shows by dashed lines the possible cross-sectional narrowing of the front part of the shoe when tensioning by means of the tensioning device described above, both from both sides and from above.

26 gespanntem Band 28 bzw. Seil oder Kabel 30.The designs according to the invention allow an optimal adaptation of the ski boot to the foot of the wearer, even when the boot is closed, i.e. even when the belt 28 or rope or cable 30 is tensioned by the buckles 24 or 26.
