Definitions

  • the invention relates to a wing lock for windows and doors, in particular for those with tilt and turn sash, with two arms pivotally connected by a knee joint, one of which is suspended by a pin joint parallel to the knee joint on the fixed frame in a bearing block, while the other is attached to one wing-side bearing block engages via a pin joint which is also directed parallel to the knee joint and which can be uncoupled by means of a handle, the knee joint being equipped with a friction brake and an adjusting device therefor.
  • the handle serving for coupling and uncoupling the wing lock with the wing-side bearing block is designed here as a two-armed pivot lever which is adjustably held on the arm of the window lock associated with the wing-side bearing block.
  • the longer lever arm of this two-armed swivel lever forms the operating handle, while the shorter lever arm acts as a coupling element.
  • the arm of this wing stop associated with the wing-side bearing block is provided with an engagement hole for a short bearing journal projecting beyond the one side surface of the wing-side bearing block.
  • the shorter lever arm of the two-armed swivel lever can be placed behind the side surface of the wing-side bearing block facing away from the pin, and thereby secures the coupling connection of the arm to the wing-side bearing block.
  • This known wing lock has the major disadvantage that, due to the peculiar arrangement of the pivoting lever, it can only be coupled and uncoupled to the bearing block seated on it when the wing is open. Only when the arm of the wing lock cooperating with the wing-side bearing bracket is adjusted by a relatively large angle from its parallel position to the wing, can the pivot lever held on it be shifted so far that its short lever arm moves the coupling area between the wing-side bearing bracket and the associated one Can release arm to perform the coupling or uncoupling process.
  • a wing lock of the design specified in the introduction has now been created, which does not have the disadvantages of the known type. It is characterized primarily by the fact that the handle consists of a slide that is adjustably guided on the wing-side bearing block transversely to the axis of the pin joint formed thereon and carries a coupling claw that corresponds to a joint pin on the arm adjacent to the wing-side bearing block in such a way that that this is effective in the engagement position as a bearing shell for the hinge pin sitting on the arm and forms with it the pin joint on the wing-side bearing block, while in its disengaged position this pin joint is dissolved.
  • This coupling device can be actuated without problems with the wing lock resting on the fixed frame with folded arms, so that it can be connected to or detached from the wing when the wing is in the closed position. This gives the option of opening the sash of the window either with an effective sash retainer or with an ineffective sash retainer.
  • the sash arrester according to the invention is designed such that the sash-side bearing block consists of a shell-like, tub-like or boat-like molded part, which with the visible surface of the fixed frame faces the opening side and via a longitudinal side wall adjoining the rollover circumferential surface of the window or door leaf can be fastened, wherein it forms a cover housing which, when the wing is in the closed position, encloses the two arms connected in the manner of a knee joint and the associated friction brake with adjusting device.
  • An embodiment according to the invention has also proven itself, in which one of the two arms has two parallel cheeks at least in the area of the knee joint, while the other arm has three parallel cheeks in this area, these cheeks of the two arms mutually juxtaposed in the knee joint forming four interacting friction braking areas which can be influenced by the adjusting device which also forms the knee joint axis.
  • a sash lock 3 is used, which acts on the one hand on the fixed frame 1 and on the other hand on the sash 2.
  • the wing lock 3 has two arms 4 and 5, which are connected to each other by a knee joint 6.
  • the arm 4 is held via a pin joint 7, which runs parallel to the knee joint 6, in a bearing block 8 which is fastened to the fixed frame 1, as can be clearly seen in FIGS. 1 to 3.
  • the arm 5 interacts via a pin joint 9 also directed parallel to the knee joint 6 with a bearing block 10 attached to the wing 2.
  • the frame-side bearing block 8 has a base plate 11, from which two parallel cheeks 12 'and 12 "protrude at right angles, in which the pivot pin 13 is held. Between the two cheeks 12' and 12" is the arm 4 on the pivot pin 13 held pivotably, namely by means of a tongue 14 offset on both sides. Following the tongue 14, the arm 4 has a thickness which is approximately equal to the distance between the outer surfaces of the two cheeks 12 'and 12 "of the frame-side bearing block 8 the arm 4 has a longitudinal groove 15 which is open on one side and opens towards the knee joint 6 with a constriction between two cheeks 16 'and 16 ", which can be clearly seen in FIG. 3.
  • the arm 5 has three cheeks 17 ′, 17 ′′ and 17 ′′ ′ which are spaced apart from one another and parallel to one another and are connected to one another by a web 18 which extends only over a short length section of the arm 5.
  • the two cheeks 17 'and 17 “of the arm 5 rest with their inner surfaces on the outer surfaces of the two cheeks 16' and 16" of the arm 4, while there the cheek 17 “'of the arm 5 between the cheeks 16' and 16 “of the arm 4 engages in such a way that the inner surfaces of the cheeks 16 'and 16" come to rest on the outer surfaces of the cheek 17 "' of the arm 5.
  • the knee joint 6 between the two arms 4 and 5 is formed by a sleeve nut 19 and a screw 20 engaged therewith, which cooperate as an adjusting device via which the cheeks 16 'and 16 "of the arm 4 and the cheeks are in the region of the knee joint 6 17 ', 17 "and 17"' of the arm 5 can be braced against each other so that their abutting surfaces work together as a friction brake which can be adjusted in terms of their braking action.
  • This friction brake works with four pairs of friction surfaces and therefore makes it possible to use the sleeve nut 19 and the screw 20 formed adjusting device to set the desired braking force in a simple manner.
  • the middle cheek 17 "'of the arm 5 extends from the knee joint 6 only over the partial length of the arm 5 on which the web 18 is located.
  • the cheek 17"' has a maximum width over the length of the web 18 corresponds to half the width of the two cheeks 17 'and 17 “of the arm 5.
  • the cheek 17"' of the arm 5 recorded in the groove 15 of the arm 4.
  • the bearing block 10 attached to the wing 2, namely against the peripheral surface 2 'of its flap, is designed as a shell, tub or boat-like molded part which has two parallel longitudinal side walls 21' and 21 ", which are separated by a bottom wall 22 and two of these outgoing transverse walls 23 'and 23 "are integrally connected to one another. Via one of the two longitudinal side walls 21 'and 21 ", for example the longitudinal side wall 21', the bearing block 10 is secured by two screws 24 ', 24" on the circumferential surface 2' of the wing overlap such that it extends from the end edges of the two longitudinal side walls 21 'and 21 "and the transverse walls 23 ', 23" limited opening side 25 of the end face 1' of the fixed frame 1 is turned.
  • the length and width of the shell-like or boat-like molded part forming the wing-side bearing block 10 are dimensioned such that it can completely accommodate and enclose the two arms 4 and 5 of the wing retainer 3 in the folded state shown in FIGS. 2 and 5 , when the sash 2 rests on the fixed frame 1 in the closed position.
  • a handle 26 is arranged on the outside, which is provided with a surface roughening 27, for example transverse grooves, and is guided so as to be displaceable to a limited extent via webs 28 in longitudinal slots 29 of the bottom wall 22.
  • a flat plate 30 On the inside of the bottom wall 22 is a flat plate 30 which is firmly riveted to the handle 26 via the webs 28 and together with this forms a slide 31.
  • the slide 31 At one end of the flat plate 30, the slide 31 is provided with a central web 32, which is parallel to the longitudinal side walls 21 'and 21 "of the molded part forming the bearing block 10 and centrally between them, as is clearly shown in FIG. 3.
  • This central web 32 is provided with a recess 33 which is open at the top and through which the central web 32 is given a fork-shaped outline shape.
  • the slide 31 By means of the handle 26 the slide 31 can be moved along a path determined by the length difference of the webs 28 and the longitudinal slots 29 penetrated by them Move the molded part forming the wing-side bearing block 10, its two end positions advantageously being able to be fixed by cooperation with suitable spring latching devices Bolt 34 can be brought in and out of engagement, the free End of the arm 5 between the two cheeks 17 'and 17 "is attached. If the central web 32 of the slide 31, which acts as a bearing shell, engages with the bolt 34 of the arm 15, then the wing lock 3 is coupled to the wing 2 and this can be fixed in any possible opening width over a limited opening area, because that in the knee joint 6 between the two arms 4 and 5 arranged friction brake with adjustable braking force is effective.
