Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Walze, in erster Linie eine Pa­ piermaschinenwalze, mit einem auf einen Walzenkern aufge­ brachten Überzug. Dieser Überzug ist aus einem Polyurethan­ band schraubenförmig auf den Walzenkern aufgewickelt. Glat­ te und profilierte, insbesondere mit Rillen und dergleichen ver­ sehene Walzenoberflächen können so erzielt werden. Auf die­ se Weise können in der Walzenoberfläche Entwässerungska­ näle gebildet werden, die z.B. für Naßpressen vorteilhaft sind.
Walzen mit einem Überzug aus einem aufgewickelten Po­ lyurethanband können mit Vorteil auch bei der Textilherstel­ lung, als Beizwalzen bei der Stahlblechherstellung, als Präge­ kalander für Aluminium- oder Kunststoffolien und für viele an­ dere Zwecke verwendet werden.
