Claims (2)

1. Dispositif de mise en position d'électrodes (12) dans un four à arc électrique à courant continu ou à courant alternatif, comprenant une colonne (3) portant la (les) électrode (s) et munie à l'intérieur d'un vérin hydraulique (4) qui la soulève ou l'abaisse, caractérisé en ce qu'une tige de piston (6) ou un piston plongeur de ce vérin (4) est muni, en plus de son conduit normal pour l'agent hydraulique destiné à élever le vérin (4), d'au moins un conduit supplémentaire (12) pour l'agent hydraulique, qui débouche sous le piston (5) du vérin hydraulique de manière que, lors de l'admission d'agent hydraulique, la tige de piston (6) du vérin hydraulique (4) se déplace vers le haut, et en ce que des moyens mécaniques de fixation sont prévus pour fixer la colonne à électrodes (3) dans sa position d'extrémité supérieure.
2. Dispositif suivant la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la tige de piston ou le piston plongeur est muni d'un canal central (8) continu pour l'agent hydraulique pour soulever la colonne à électrodes, ainsi que d'au moins un conduit supplémentaire (12) pour de l'agent hydraulique qui est disposé soit latéralement par rapport au conduit mentionné en premier soit concentriquement autour du conduit mentionné en premier et qui débouche en dessous du piston hydraulique(5).
