Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for producing a single-layer or multi-layer valve sack made of paper or film with a self-closing valve.
  • Paper valve sacks are widely used for packaging powdery or granular goods.
  • the spreadable or flowable material can be introduced via automatic filling systems, and the valve, which closes itself after filling due to the pressure effect of the filling material, makes an additional work step for closing the filled sack mostly superfluous, or additional sealing sheets applied are self-closing properties of the valve significantly relieved.
  • the cross-bottom valve bag is of great importance. While the sewn sack on the one hand offers the advantage of inexpensive manufacture, there is, however, the disadvantage that such a sack is not absolutely leakproof. On the other hand, the funnelêt valve sack has good tightness, but it is more expensive and requires more material to manufacture.
  • valve sheet is manufactured in an associated valve manufacturing unit in-line and in time with the sack machine, fed to the gluing point and pressed in a pressing station and thereby firmly adhered to the inner sack track.
  • the valve manufacturing unit is part of an overall system specially designed for the production of valve bags made of plastic film.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a device using conventional sack machines, as far as possible, with which such proposed side-gusset valve bags can be inexpensively manufactured with a valve inserted into the longitudinal seam of the bag hose.
  • a device according to the invention for producing the above-mentioned bags with a self-closing valve is characterized in claim 1.
  • the subclaims indicate advantageous configurations of the manufacturing device according to the invention.
  • the device according to the invention is characterized in that at the end of a transport device for an open web of the sack material, shortly before it is guided into a tube pulling area, a valve manufacturing unit is preferably arranged above the material web guide, in which valve valve made from paper roll and the open, pre-glued sack track positioned in defined areas.
  • the prefabricated paper valves are contacted with the pre-glued open sack track and after the valve has been applied, the sack track with valve passes through a pressure section with which the supplied valve sleeve is securely bonded.
  • a sack path 1 which can be referred to as an open sack path in a single-layer sack or represents the inner sack path in a multi-layer sack, is first deflected on a roller 4 and pre-glued in a glue station B in the area of the subsequent valve applications.
  • the glue station B essentially consists of a glue pan 5, a scoop roller 6 and an application roller 7 suitable for a format-based glue application Valve or a valve sleeve 24 applied and when passing through a pressure roller pair 18, the blind web 1 and the applied valve sleeve are pressed together for an intimate bonding.
  • a deflection roller 2 at the intermediate product discharge or at the transition to a sack manufacturing machine consequently reaches the open sack path with the valve applied.
  • a conveyor belt 17 runs around in the area of a pressing station 13, and a cylinder 13b, which at the same time ensures the application of the valve sleeve 24 to the open sack track 1, serves on the opposite side of a cylinder 13a as a deflecting roller for one or more conveyor belts 17th
  • FIG 3 shows the next step: the folding flap 16a still holds the valve sheet 24 'with the front flap 24a, and over the glue application roller 11 of the glue station 11 the area of the open valve sheet 24' is glued so that, as shown in FIG 4 shows the glue track 23 being applied to the open valve sheet 24 '.
  • the glue unit 11 is shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 solely with the glue application roller 11c. From Fig. 1, however, it appears that the glue unit 11 also has a glue box 11a and a scoop roller 11b.
  • FIG. 4 it can be seen that when the folding cylinder 10b is turned further, the folding flap 16a has now opened, while the folding flap 16b has now grasped the still open valve sheet 24 ', due to the inherent stiffness of the paper to erect a flap 24b comes, which in turn angled in the opposite direction carries the backward inclined tab 24a.
  • the valve sheet 24 ' which is still open, passes through the nip 31 between the folding cylinder 10b and a gripper drum 12, the tab 24b now leading is completely folded over, the tab 24a coming to rest on the glue track 23.
  • the valve which is still lying flat, but in principle already 9-shaped, is now fully folded.
  • the gripper drum 12 now grips with the gripper 25, the valve sheet 24 'on the folding drum 10b, and finally, as shown in FIG. 6, the finished valve sleeve 24 is transferred from the gripper drum 12 to the transfer cylinder 13b at the point of contact of the rollers 12 and 13b .
  • a gripper finger 25 (not shown in detail) must open at this transfer point; at the same time, the flat-lying valve sleeve 24 is easily grasped by a fine needle 20, which is attached to the transfer cylinder 13b, and the actual takeover of the finished folded valve sleeve 24 to the transfer cylinder 13b is provided by a suction cup 19, which operates with a vacuum pump, which is not shown in sections connected is.
  • the vacuum is switched off by the suction cup 19, so that, supported by the belt or tapes 17, the transfer of the valve sleeve 24 from the transfer cylinder 13b to the previously described, partially glued blind path with the gluing unit 5, 6, 7 1 can be done.
  • the upper folding cylinder 10a preferably has two folding knives (not shown in more detail) which, when the open valve sheet 8 passes through the nip 30 between the two folding cylinders 10a and 10b, ensure that the valve sheet 8 is gripped by the two folding flaps 16a and 16b in the lower folding cylinder 10b .
  • a clock control is to be provided in such a way that the folding jaws 16a and 16b are each opened before entering the nip 30 between the folding cylinders 10a and 10b, so that the folding blades of the upper folding cylinder 10a easily open into the gaps caused by the open folding jaws 16a, 16b immerse and thus press the paper into the open folding flaps 16a, 16b.
  • the open valve sheet 8 is already gripped with both folding tongs before the open valve sheet 8 passes the glue station 11.
  • the valve manufacturing unit can therefore also be equipped with two folding knife cylinders, so that the folding cylinder 10a has only one folding knife, with which the secure gripping of the valve sheet 8 by the folding flap 16a can be ensured.
  • the separated valve sheet 24 ' which is gripped in this way only with a pair of folding pliers, then only passes through the glue station 11 before the gripping of the valve sheet 24' is ensured by the folding pliers 16b with a second folding cylinder (not shown).
  • a second folding cylinder (not shown).
  • To securely erect the valve flap 24b it is then advantageous to open the front folding flap 16a immediately during or after the valve sheet 24 'is gripped by the folding flap 16b.
  • the gap 31 between the two cylinders 10b and 12 serves both for folding over the folding tab 24b and for gripping the valve, which has been completed by this folding over, by the gripper finger 25, which can also be designed as gripper pliers.
  • FIG. 7 once again illustrates the individual process steps for producing the 9-shaped valve in perspective single images.
  • Fig. 7a shows the still unfolded, but already separated from the valve sheet 8 valve sheet 24 ', as z. B. passes in the area of the train station 21 '.
  • 7b illustrates the valve sheet 24 'after the first folding in the folding flap 16a of the folding cylinder 10b, the front flap 24a being formed.
  • FIG. 7c shows the valve sheet 24 ′ which has been pre-folded once, with the front flap 24a after passing through the glue station 11, which has carried out the application of the glue track 23.
  • FIG. 7d finally shows the valve sheet 24 'after the second folding in the folding flap 16b, so that the valve sheet 24' with the large tab 24b and the small tab 24a can now be clearly seen.
  • the valve 24 finished in FIG. 7e is finally applied to the blind path 1 provided with the glue traces 26 according to FIG. 7f, and FIG 24 after passing through the pressure roller pairs 18.
  • a clock control can be provided for the valve manufacturing unit such that, for example, the further transport of the separated valve sheets 24 'by the train group 21' is synchronized with the changeable bag size.
  • the device according to the invention for the production of paper or film bags with a self-closing valve is characterized in particular by the fact that inexpensive self-closing valve bags for powdery or granular material can be produced in a largely fully automated process, different bag sizes being able to be taken into account.
