Definitions
- the gaseous and some of the liquid products are further hydrogenated in one or more reactors via fixed hydrogenation catalysts in order to increase the proportion of volatile products.
- a particular problem in the large-scale implementation of coal hydrogenation is the removal of the waste water.
- 100 kg of heavily contaminated wastewater is generated per ton of coal per hour, which requires post-treatment.
- the wastewater contains approx. 7.8 kg phenols as well as C 5 and C 6 hydrocarbons and hydrogen sulfide per ton.
- the invention is based on a process for the continuous production of hydrocarbon oils from coal by splitting pressure hydrogenation in two stages, in which in the first stage ground coal is rubbed together with finely divided catalysts with an oil mixture, the slurry and the hydrogen under pressure of 200 heated up to 700 bar to 380 to 440 ° C and by one or more Re-Gr / P
- the invention relates to a method in which the waste water requiring treatment from the entire system is used as a gasifying agent for the production of the hydrogenation hydrogen by partial oxidation of coal and / or hydrogenation residue containing coal and bitumen.
- the present invention relates in particular to a process for at least partially recovering the hydrogenation hydrogen from the process wastewater of the bottom phase and the gas phase by using them in the production of hydrogen by partial oxidation.
- coal and / or liquid heavy oil which contains asphalt, solids, unconverted coal, coal ash and the added catalyst (residue), e.g. generate hydrogen by autothermal fission, the harmful components e.g. Phenol are gasified.
- the 20.15 t / h of process wastewater obtained from the hydrogenation of 200 t / h of coal are used for the hydrogen production in the process itself and their costly cleaning is saved.
- a suitable embodiment consists in that a part of the waste water requiring treatment used as the quench medium in the partial oxidation in the temperature range from 1000 to 1500 0 C and converted into harmless components process.
- the wastewater requiring treatment can be treated in an evaporation device at pressures between 15 and 90 bar into a liquid part, which contains the components requiring treatment, and decompose a vaporous part and use the liquid part as a gasifying agent and the vaporous part as a quench medium.
- the wastewater can also be separated by distillation, the liquid fraction used as a gasifying agent for coal gasification and the vaporous part used as a gasifying agent for residue gasification.
- the quench part of the PO gene can also be used as an evaporation device. use or use a semi-permeable wall as an evaporation device.
- the process water from the sump and gas phase is treated in such a way that it can be released to the environment without damage.
- the phenol-containing wastewater is passed in countercurrent to a heavy gasoline fraction of the coal oil, the low and thus more soluble phenols go into the water and the phenols with more than 8 C atoms pass into the gasoline fraction.
- the phenol content in the water increases from 7 to 8 to 17 g / l.
- the water can be freed from phenol using butyl acetate as the extraction agent.
- the extraction agent is recovered in downstream rectification columns and the various phenols are separated by distillation.
- the wastewater now contains NH 3 and C0 2 , which are chemically bound. At higher temperatures (> 120 C) the chemical bond can be split and C0 2 and NH 3 can be driven off overhead in a column.
- NH 3 is a valuable product.
- the waste water from the NH 3 column contains small amounts of phenols (> 200 mg / 1). The phenol degradation can take place in a biological sewage treatment plant and the water can flow from there into the receiving water.
- This process for processing the cold separator waste water is used when phenols and / or NH 3 can be considered as valuable products.
- the disadvantage is that further phenol degradation is only possible through a biological sewage treatment plant.
- the present invention is based on a method in which the use of a biological sewage treatment plant for the process water is not necessary.
- a preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention is to combine the process water from the bottom phase and the gas phase and to separate it in a vaporization device at temperatures between 200 to 300 ° C. at a pressure between 40 and 80 bar into a liquid and a vaporous portion such that the liquid fraction can be used to suspend the coal to be gasified by partial oxidation and the vaporous fraction is added at points of the p.0 generator which lie in the temperature range between 1000 and 1400 ° C., the vaporous fraction also at the designated points of the residue gasifier can be added.
- a further embodiment consists of passing the process water from the bottom phase and the gas phase into the quench part of the generators and from this withdrawing the required amount of suspension water.
- the process water from the sump and gas phase is wholly or partially thickened in a separator with semi-permeable walls, the thickened amount of water corresponding exactly to the proportion that is required as suspension water.
- the result is that the phenols accumulate entirely or with a proportion greater than 90% in the mashing water required for coal gasification and are broken down into components at the temperatures which are present in the case of partial oxidation which do not require any special aftertreatment.

Abstract
