Definitions

  • the invention relates to a process for the production of fancy yarns from a basic thread transported with constant tension and delivery speed and a fancy thread material to which a false twist is given, the effects formed by the fancy thread material are fixed to the basic thread by additional thread material and the fancy yarn formed with the delivery speed of the basic thread is subtracted.
  • the invention further relates to a device for carrying out this method with a feed for the basic thread via a tensioning device, with a feed for effect thread material, with a pair of draw-off rollers for the fancy yarn formed and with a rotatable hollow spindle arranged in front of it in the thread running direction and carrying a false twist element on the outlet side.
  • a device for the production of fancy yarn in which a base thread and a fancy thread in the form of a thread or a fiber band are used.
  • the device also has a hollow spindle with a false twist element attached to it and rotating around it.
  • a thin fastening thread is wound on the hollow spindle.
  • the object on which the invention is based is to design the method and the device of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that, at high production speeds, reliable fixing and strengthening of the effects formed from threads and / or fibers on the fancy yarn produced is made possible in a simple manner.
  • the one ends of the fibers solidifying the fancy yarn can be bound in by the false twist of the base thread and at least one fancy thread. It is also possible that together with the fibers that solidify the fancy yarn, other fibers are inflated that are longer and stronger than the fibers that solidify the fancy yarn and that are twisted around the basic thread in the confined space to form effects. The other fibers are at least twice as long as the fibers that consolidate the fancy yarn and up to ten times stronger than these.
  • the fibers can be separated by warping from roving immediately before inflation, both the shorter fibers used for the consolidation and the longer fibers which produce the effects.
  • the fibers forming the effects can also be provided in addition to an effect thread.
  • the stated object is achieved on the basis of the device of the type mentioned at the outset by a chamber arranged in the thread running direction directly in front of the hollow spindle with an inlet and an outlet, which are aligned in the thread running direction, and a channel for the pneumatic fiber transport, which ends at the end with a side opening into the chamber solved, the other end is assigned to a fiber supply plant.
  • the diameter of the inlet into the chamber and its outlet is expediently at most three to four times that largest cross-sectional dimension of the fancy yarn formed.
  • the axis of the channel expediently forms an angle with the axis of the chamber in the thread running direction that is less than 90 °.
  • the chamber can be double-walled in the thread running direction after the opening of the channel, the inner wall being penetrated by air outlet holes.
  • an air suction device can be arranged downstream of the chamber in the thread running direction, which is connected to the air supply for the pneumatic fiber conveyance in the channel.
  • the fibers drawn off from the supplying plant are separated in the required manner, whereby at the end of the channel they have a speed that is greater than the speed of the supplying plant feeding them. If the fibers hit the wrongly twisted base thread and, if applicable, effect thread, they are gripped by one end of it, while their free end is kept taut. Due to their length, however, the fibers do not rotate around the base thread, possibly with effect thread, but only when the twisting occurs after leaving the false twist element, as a result of which the effects formed are consolidated and fixed.
  • the device shown in FIG. 1 has a fiber delivery unit 1 consisting of several pairs of rollers, with which fibers are drawn from a roving 14 in the form of a fiber band and guided over a channel 7 for a pneumatic fiber transport.
  • a base thread 4 is guided via a tensioning device in the form of a thread brake 5 via a deflection roller either through the groove 3 in a pair of delivery rollers 2 without being conveyed by this pair of delivery rollers, or is guided past the pair of delivery rollers 2 by a guide deflector 3.1.
  • the delivery roller pair 2 conveys a fancy yarn consisting of a sliver 13 or a thread at a speed which is 20 to 300% greater than the speed of the base thread 4.
  • the base thread 4 with the effect thread 13 passes through a rotating hollow spindle 9 and is over guided with the hollow spindle 9 false twist element 12.
  • the effect yarn 15 formed is removed by a pair of draw-off rollers 10 arranged in the running direction after the false twist element 12 at the speed of the base thread 4.
  • the basic thread is held taut by the brake 5 and the pair of draw rollers 10.
  • the effect thread 13 forms effects, for example loops, due to the false twist given between the false twist element 12 and the junction point of base thread 4 and effect thread 13, the junction point either through the nip of the delivery roller pair 2 of the effect thread 13 or at the feed point of the base thread to the effect thread via the guide deflector 3.1 is defined.
  • an air suction device 11 In the thread running direction immediately in front of the hollow spindle 9 there is an air suction device 11 and in front of it a chamber 8 which has an inlet 16 and an outlet 17 arranged flush with it in the thread running direction and into which the channel 7 opens out to the side, the air suction device 11 also being shown in the exemplary embodiment shown the air supply 6 is connected in the channel 7 for the pneumatic transport.
  • the chamber 8 has an inlet 16 and an outlet 17, the inner diameter of which exceeds and reaches three to four times the diameter of the finished yarn, the connection 17.1 of the suction device 11 or the hollow spindle 9 is dimensioned accordingly.
  • the channel 7 opens laterally into the chamber 8, the distance A from the inlet end of the chamber 8 being adjustable, which influences the formation of the effects, for example the formation of thick spots due to the accumulation of strengthening fibers.
  • the axis of the channel 7 forms an angle with the axis of the chamber 8 to the thread entry side, which is less than 90 °.
  • the chamber 8 is double-walled.
  • the inner wall 20 is on. Broken holes Chen, can pass through the air, which is then discharged through a concentric opening in the air suction device 11.
  • the holes for the air discharge are provided in a sleeve 20 ′, which is adjacent to the chamber 8 in the thread running direction and is provided with the outlet 17.
  • the effect thread 13 in the form of a sliver, yarn or thread is fed through the pair of delivery rollers 2 at a greater speed than the base thread 4.
  • the false twist element 12 rotates, a false twist that runs back to the nip of the delivery roller pair 2 occurs, the effect thread forming loops.
  • a fiber sliver 14 is fed through the fiber delivery unit 1, the fibers of which finally reach the channel 7 more or less occasionally, in which a further fiber separation takes place due to the negative pressure prevailing therein and depending on the length.
  • the fibers are fed pneumatically into the chamber 8, where they meet the wrongly rotated basic thread with effect thread and are caught at one end by the rotating threads.
  • the fibers thus detected reach the effective zone of the false twist element 12 without receiving a twist due to the rotation of their free end.
  • the detected fibers receive an actual rotation during the untwisting and reliably compress the basic and effect thread, the effects formed being consolidated and fixed in the form of loops.
  • This strengthening is reinforced by maintaining a certain rotation between the base thread and the effect thread, this rotation having the direction of rotation in the section between the false twist element 12 and the take-off rollers 10.
  • the fancy yarn 15 thus produced is drawn off from the pair of draw-off rollers 10 and wound up in a known manner on a spool, not shown.
  • two roving yarns 13 and 14 in the form of fiber ribbons are guided and separated from the channel 7 by the fiber delivery plant 1, the roving yarn 14 giving the fibers for fixing and strengthening, while the roving yarn 13 gives fibers for an effect formation .
  • the fibers of the roving 14 are six to ten times thinner than the fibers of the roving 13 and considerably shorter than this, for example the length of the fibers resulting from the roving 14 is 60 mm, while the fibers from the roving 13 have a length of 100 mm or more.
  • the fibers from the rovings 13 and 14, after they are separated in the required manner, are pneumatically guided via the channel 7 into the chamber 8 through which the basic thread 4 runs, which is given by the false twist element 12 and false twist, in which case shown embodiment is additionally assigned an effect thread 21, which, however, need not be present.
  • the shorter and thinner fibers from the roving 14 are gripped with one end by the base thread 4 as in the embodiment of FIG. 1, but do not get any twist to the false twist element 12, while the considerably longer and thicker fibers from the roving 13 around the base thread 4 be twisted and form effects.
  • the shorter and thinner fibers obtained from the roving 14 strengthen the false twist between the basic thread 4 and the longer fibers obtained from the roving 13 by a rotation against the pair of take-off rollers 10, thereby enriching the effects still contributed by the bobbin 22 effect thread 21, which is also fixed in the manner described.
