Definitions
- the invention relates to a device with at least one cutting edge attached to a vibration exciter for removing paint, carpet, adhesive and / or material residues from a surface.
- stripper machines which consist of a vibratory grinding machine, on the end face of which a sheet metal V-shaped cross section with an opening angle of approximately 150 ° is attached.
- this device is nothing more than a type of motorized spatula. The device must be raised and is therefore not particularly suitable for cleaning large areas, in particular vertical areas. Frequent blade changes are also required.
- the object of the invention is therefore to obtain a device of the type mentioned at the outset, with the aid of which a rational, fatigue-free and health-risk-free procedure for removing material residues is made possible by overcoming existing difficulties and disadvantages. Furthermore, the invention should be uncomplicated, easy to use and inexpensive to implement.
- the object is achieved by a device in which the cutting edge (s) is (are) part of one or more cutting plates which are also provided with lateral cutting areas outside the end faces of the vibration exciter, and the edges of which are designed as a blade at an acute angle a cutting edge to the surface.
- an extremely efficient working method which is practically free of dust development, is achieved in that it cuts and planes Ar in the frequency of the vibration beitshübe carried out in the order of magnitude of the vibration amplitude, which effectively lifts the material residues standing as elevations on the surface to be smoothed.
- No abrasives are used, and there is no strong dust, as is inevitable when sanding.
- Working with the device is quicker and less tiring.
- the cutting plate with its characteristic shape according to the invention is equipped with bevelled edges and cutting edges tapering at an acute angle to the machined surface, a biting cutting process is achieved on the one hand, without attacking the surface to be smoothed on the other hand.
- This powerful, yet gentle method of working is surprisingly also achieved in that the bevelled edge parts of the cutting insert achieve a certain resilient-elastic effect, which enables the progress in terms of work and handling that distinguishes the invention from known devices.
- the height at which the cutting insert lies above the surface can be measured at different heights.
- the cutting plate has a polygonal, preferably a rectangular, bulging base in the central region and two approximately parallel edges with cutting edges worked down to a protruding inclined surface, while the end faces of the cutting plate, which are at right angles to these, are without cutting edges.
- the cutting plate in a bowl shape and to provide all sides with closed edges designed as cutting edges.
- There at the cutting surface can have an angular (polygonal) or a round or oval base.
- the cutting edge itself can be straight, but it can also be serrated or serrated.
- Figure 1 shows the device according to the invention in a ready-to-work state.
- a cutting plate 1 extends in its central part 2 approximately parallel to the surface 3 to be processed. It is arranged in the central part above the surface to be processed and is in contact with it via the cutting areas 4, 4 '. The latter are beveled in the direction of the surface 3, the edges 5, 5 'being designed as cutting edges 6, 6'.
- the cutting edges 6, 6 ' are hardened by a method known to those skilled in the art of cutlery.
- the cutting edges 6, 6 ' run out at an acute angle ⁇ to the surface 3.
- material residues 7, 7 'to be removed are lifted off, as can clearly be seen from the illustration in the figures, in a combination of small-scale cutting and / or planing movements which occur in rapid succession with the frequency of the oscillation.
- the actual cutting plate 1 can be removed from the actual vibration exciter 9 for sharpening or after wear after loosening the fastening elements, for example in the form of screws 8.
- the screw holes in the vibration plate itself are arranged so that they match the existing holes of conventional orbital sander.
- the vibration exciter 9 has one or more handles 10.
- an electrical supply cord which, however, is not shown in the present case.
- the designs shown are motor-driven orbital sanders of a commercially available type familiar to the person skilled in the art.
- Such known devices are designed either as circular oscillators or as linear oscillators, both types of oscillation, which can alternatively be set on one device, being possible with commercially available devices.
- Suitable for the invention As experiments have shown, both types of vibration. In the rest, these are symbolized by the arrows 10 (circular oscillators) and 11 (linear oscillators).
- FIG. 3 shows a somewhat different embodiment.
- a two-part cutting plate 2, 2 ' is provided, which is divided in the central region.
- Each of the two parts of the cutting plate has edges 5, 5 'which are designed as cutting edges 6, 6'.
- the cutting plate can also be designed in another embodiment, for example in the form of a round soup plate which is upside down.
- the plate edges form the edge parts 4, 4 'and cut 6, 6'. It is possible to deviate from the round shape, for example to a regular hexagon shape or to an oval shape.
- FIG. 4 A somewhat different shape of the edge part 4 of the cutting insert 1 is shown in FIG. 4. This is equipped with larger radius transitions 12, 13. This results in a somewhat softer-elastic effect, which is advantageous in some cases in coordination with the cutting material.
- the acute angle ct that the cutting edge 6, 6 ′ forms with the surface 3 can also be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4.
- This angle ⁇ is approximately between 5 and 25 °, without this angle information ultimately being intended to be limiting.
- FIGS. 5a and 5b show the two options for providing the cutting edges with a straight cutting edge, while FIG. 5b shows a cutting edge that is serrated.

Abstract
Description
- Figur 1 eine Vorrichtung nach der Erfindung in perspektivischer Darstellung;
- Figur 2 eine Vorderansicht der Vorrichtung gemäß Figur 1;
- Figur 3 eine andere Ausführungsform;
- Figur 4 ein Randdetail bei der Schneide gemäß den Figuren 1 und 3;
