- the recordings surround the propellant charge on its entire circumference. This largely prevents damage to the caseless propellant charges. Occasionally it happens that a propellant charge is not or only partially ignited. In this case, the sleeve-shaped receptacle brings the remnants of the propellant charge back into the magazine. This prevents contamination of the combustion chamber.
- the recordings can be connected to the carrier in various ways. However, it has proven to be expedient that the predetermined breaking points are designed as dividers. Pushing the recordings out of the carrier thus requires a determinable force.
