Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a train unit consisting of at least three low-floor rail freight wagons with small wheels, in particular for the transport of road vehicles, the end wagons of the rail freight wagons which are coupled to each other each having a head piece with pulling and pushing devices lying above the floor level.
There are train units from low-floor rail freight cars with small wheels for the transport of road vehicles are known, in which the end pieces carrying the pulling and pushing devices of the end cars can be lowered from a working position with normal pulling and pushing devices to a lower-lying end position, in which the headers for horizontal loading of the train unit can be run over by the road vehicles. The vertical movement of the head piece between the working position and the lowered drive-over position is achieved by pairs of handlebars arranged on the side, whereby there are various possibilities for fixing the head piece in the respective end position.
In addition to train units made of low-floor rail freight cars with lowerable headers, train units for the transport of road vehicles are known, the low-floor cars of which can be coupled to the locomotive or to normal train freight cars of the train by means of adapter cars arranged at the ends.
The disadvantage of the train units to be coupled by means of adapter carriages is that these adapter carriages must always be carried along empty, so that transport space is lost. There is also a certain loss of transport space in the low-floor wagons with lowerable head pieces, but this loss is only slight. The much greater disadvantage of these low-floor wagons with lowerable head pieces is the complex mechanism for the height adjustment and locking of these head pieces.
The invention has for its object to provide a train unit of at least three low-floor railway freight wagons with small wheels of the type described, which has a continuous over the entire length of the train unit, lying at the lowest level and except for the transport of road vehicles, such as Trailer trucks, trailer trucks, articulated lorries and semi-trailers, are equally well suited for the transport of containers, swap bodies and large general cargo.
The solution to this problem by the invention is characterized in that both the middle wagons and the end wagons of the train unit are continuously formed with a low-lying wagon floor and that the end pieces of the end wagons lying above the floor of the wagon are removably mounted from the area of the loading area.
Through the use of close couplings located below the low-lying wagon floor, the individual carriages of the train unit can be coupled with each other without loss of loading space, so that there is a low-floor loading area which runs over the entire length of the train unit and which, after the end pieces of the end cars have been removed from the bed area from the end of the train unit is accessible. This arrangement of the head pieces avoids any loss of loading space and results in a particularly simple possibility for an end-to-end transition between the loading area of the train and a stationary loading ramp.
According to further features of the invention, the end car head pieces can be removed from the loading area either by the head pieces of the end car being arranged in a removable manner, for example by lifting by means of forklifts, or by the head pieces of the end car coming from a vertical axis lying outside the car floor Area of the loading area are pivotally mounted. In the last embodiment, according to a further development according to the invention, it is possible to pivot the head pieces on both ends of the vehicle undercarriage by means of a vertical axis and optionally to pivot one of these axes out of the area of the loading area, so that the head pieces depending on the local conditions can be swiveled to the left or right.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the end of the end car and the middle car are formed outside the area of the bogies from parallel to each other and at a distance from each other, so that in addition to a simple design for determining the adjustable wheel cover results in a version that also with unfavorable Weather conditions, such as rain or snow, enable safe driving on the loading area; in addition, there is a certain self-cleaning of the loading area due to the possibility that even larger contaminants will fall through the distances between the profiles.
In order to obtain a particularly simple construction for the pivotable design of the head piece, according to a further feature of the invention, each head piece consists of a buffer plank carrying the side buffers, which is pivotably mounted on both ends on at least two spaced-apart bearings on the vehicle undercarriage. The side long girders of the base frame are preferably used as the storage location for the buffer screed.
In an embodiment further developed according to the invention, one of the two bearings is arranged in the area of the buffer board and the second bearing below the buffer board and connected to it via stiffeners. This results in a particularly robust bearing for the buffer screed.
According to a further feature of the invention, each bearing consists of a bearing bush arranged on the vehicle undercarriage and a bearing bush and a one Bearing pin that can be pulled out of one of the bearing bushes in the axial direction. In addition to a simple construction, this results in a particularly simple possibility for releasing one end of the buffer plank, so that it can be pivoted about the other end.
If the bearing bolts of superimposed bearings are connected according to the invention via a handlebar to a common crank which can be rotated by means of a lockable hand lever, both bearing bolts can be moved together in the axial direction to release the associated end of the buffer beam, so that they disengage from one of the two bearing bushes kick, which form the pivot bearing together with the bearing pin. In another embodiment according to the invention, the bearing bolts can also be pulled out of one of the bearing bushes in the axial direction by means of a power-operated device.
Finally, the invention proposes to mount the bearing bolts with the handlebars, the crank disk and the hand lever on the head piece, so that there is a particularly simple arrangement and accommodation of those parts which cause the buffer screed to be detached from the vehicle undercarriage.

Each bearing consists of a
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 7 to 10, the
Due to the arrangement and design of the head pieces K described above, each is in the traction unit Licher loss of loading space avoided and at the same time created a particularly simple possibility for an end transition between the loading area of the train formed by the floor W of the train and a stationary loading ramp. Overall, the low-lying wagon floors W of the end wagons E and middle wagons M, which are in turn coupled to each other without loss of loading space, result in a low-floor loading area running over the entire length of the train unit, which can thus be easily loaded with both road vehicles and containers.
