Abstract

Un método de multi-etapa y el aparato para la produción de metano a partir de biomasas en el que la biomasa es hidropirolizada en un reactor que contiene hidrógeno molecular y un catalizador de desoxigenación; el producto del mismo es hidrogenado usando un catalizador de hidroconversión. El efluente del paso de la hiroconversión se proporciona a un proceso de desplazamiento agua - gas que provee una mezcla de H2O y gases de producción que incluyen CO2, H2 y metano.
